I shoved him out of the way, hurrying to get my own cup

"shut the fuck up." I leaned against the counter, turning to face johnnie. He stood awkwardly in the corner, looking around at all the people surrounding him. it was adorable. "you okay, johnnie?"

"oh, yeah, I'm good." he smiled.

"you're not drinking with us?" Jake sipped his wiskey.

"someone needs to drive home and take care of the drunks." he shrugged.

I walked over to stand next to him. "do you like drinking?"

"I mean, sometimes. I don't know, I used to drink constantly. it kind of became a problem." he glanced away, avoiding eye contact.

"oh, I'm sorry you had to go through that. addictions a bitch ass hoe."

he looked back, his gaze softening. "yeah, it is."

"I was addicted to a couple different drugs throughout highschool." I admitted, looking down into the cup and swirling it around. "honestly, I'm still kind of recovering. the urges never go away, though."

"felt that. im sorry you went through that too." he gave me a sad smile.

"whatever," I downed the last of the whiskey in my cup and went to pour more. "who gives a fuck right now? let's have fun. we can talk about it later." I smiled.

we all sat on the couch, which was surprisingly empty. although, there were a few questionable stains. johnnie sat in the middle while me and Jake were on either side of him. "what the fuck do people even do at parties?" I asked, throwing up my hands.

"drink, smoke, dance.." Johnnie trailed off.

"fuck." Jake added.

"so, this really isn't all that. no one's fucking dancing." I glanced around.

"that shits going down in a different room, don't worry your pretty little head." Jake wagged his finger at me.

"okay, then let's go!" I grabbed Johnnie's arm and pulled him off the couch. "lead the way, jakey."

we walked back through the kitchen, giving me a chance to fill up my cup once more. I started feeling loopy. I wrapped my arm around Johnnie's for support so I didn't fall and die. I could tell Jake was feeling it, too.

"awe!" he squeeled.

"shut the fuck up!" me and johnnie replied in unison.

we made our way to whatever room Jake had mentioned, my steps getting progressively sloppier.

"okay, ill admit, I have no clue how to dance." I giggled in Johnnie's ear.

a different song started playing. I didn't know it. "just go with it." Johnnie repeated.

I began to loosely move my body, feeling Johnnie's hands moving along with mine. I got more into it, letting the alcohol take over. I opened one eye, making eye contact with Johnnie. "Hey! I thought you were doing it too, silly!"

He laughed, the same look filled his eyes just as it did in the car.

"whaaat? why do you keep looking at me like that?" I begged him.

"no reason." he replied, closing his eyes and beggining to dance. he never let go of my hands.

Johnnie spun us around, making me feel dizzy. my head tingled, making me cackle. we opened our eyes at the same time. we looked around for Jake as we continued to dance with goofy smiles on our face. I caught Jake dancing near us with his phone pointed at us.

Chapter 1

Dallas woke up in a cold sweat looking all around him to see nothing but fog and concrete underneath him.. he couldn't see anything through the Frog just the ground and everything else was a blur as he stood up.

"what the hell is going on?.. where am I?.."

He said in a confused voice looking around but then looked down at himself seeing the bullet wounds but no blood as he let out a loud gasp upon seeing it and the memory of that night flashed before his eyes...

"I...i...i..."

*he sniffled trying to get a hold on reality*

"I..im dead...."

his face hardened as he remembered Johnny, the only one that kept him from going to the deep end. his lover... his friend... his precious boy... Dallas died for a reason to be with him, but. where could Johnny be through all this fog? Was he in heaven? Was he in hell? Where in the world could Johnny be and where to even start looking first?..

"Johnny... I'm coming to find you.. and we're going to be together again, I didn't die just so I couldn't see you again.."

Dallas said as he looked around and chose a direction to walk in, thanks to him being dead he didn't get hungry or thirsty so he kept walking and walking looking around and shouting out Johnny's name in the process.

It felt weird and it felt new, usually his feet would hurt from how much he was walking but it felt like absolutely nothing and it was weird to him as Dallas kept looking around he bumps into a lady

the lady turned around to look at Dallas and her eyes immediately widened "Dallas? What on Earth are you doing here?.." the lady asked with a sad but curious tone.

Dallas looked up to see... Mrs Curtis. And then shortly after Mr Curtis as he came running up to his wife and stopped upon seeing Dallas.

"hey there kiddo.. What happened to you? I thought you wouldn't be here until you're as old as me" Mr Curtis said as Mrs Curtis looked worried, she hesitantly asked with a shaky voice "is our boys okay? How are they.. How does Ponyboy look now?" she questioned even though it wasn't the right questions to be asking at the moment

she still wanted to know how her baby boys were, Dallas searched his memory before responding in a serious tone "well for starters, Ponyboy is doing fine. Darrel stepped in as the parent rule after you guys died but he's doing excellent and all that he can. Sodapop is okay as well but after me and Johnny's death, I'm not too sure what's running through Ponyboys mind. or any of them for that matter"

Mrs Curtis looked concerned but also smiled knowing that her baby boys were okay "speaking of Johnny.."

Dallas snapped his head towards her quickly as he spoke "Johnny!? You've seen Johnny!?!" he asked desperately

Mrs Curtis smiled and nodded "he walked through here not too long ago, we wanted to follow him but we can only stay here where our house is.."

Dallas looked confused and spoke "your house? Your home isn't here it's just fog and Roa-" he stopped mid-sentence as he turned his face to see the Curtis home in all its Glory, the house looked Lively and there were three dolls sitting in the window representing there are three sons

Dallas didn't know how to react as he walked up to the house staring at it and knowing that he will never see it again in person

he turned his gaze over to Mr and Mrs Curtis with a soft smile he never had before "which way did Johnny Go?"

Mrs Curtis smiled and spoke in a soft tone while holding her husband's hand tightly "he went left and he kept walking until he disappeared into the fog.. I hope you find him. Now if you don't excuse me and my husband, we have three boys to take care of"

with all smiles Mr and Mrs Curtis went into their house and retrieved the three dolls representing their children, Dallas thought it was a little creepy but also a way to cope with the fact that they will never see them until they're old and they die as well.

He traced his Focus back on finding Johnny, the main reason why he decided to end it all in the first place as he went left just like Mrs Curtis said and walked through the smoke.

The further he walked the hotter it seemed to get even though there was no heat, it was strange how even when he was dead he could feel the Heat.

It got hotter and hotter until he saw something burning.. Something big burning.. Dallas ran to it and saw the church on fire but it wasn't the real Church due to the fire not spreading and the church not crumbling, the church was just standing there untouched as the fire blazed around it and that's when he saw a figure inside..

He couldn't quite place it but he had a strong feeling it was Johnny, it had to be him! Who else would be in that damn Church other than him...

Dallas walked through the door of the church and looked around, even though it was burning hot Dallas could still Walk Through the flames unbothered. The figure he thought he saw was gone as he took in the church burning and got flashback memories of how Pony and Johnny risked their lives to save kids.

Johnny's heart was always in the right place, but at that moment Dallas wished Johnny wouldn't had done something so stupid like that.. It was the reason why he was dead in the first place

"I should have dragged you away from that church when I had the chance.. If I knew that this would happen to you then I wouldn't have let you run in there.. Always trying to play God damn hero..."

the choked up sobs from Dallas was full of sadness and anger, he wished so hard that Johnny never ran in that church. He wished he ran in there first, he wished to be in Johnny's position and die. While he died in Johnny got to live still

his silent thoughts were interrupted buy something running past him out of the doors as a Dallas looked and ran after it but losing it to the fog...

But there was one thing...

He was going to find his way back to Johnny no matter the price or the cost he will always..
