my mom saw a facebook post from someone local fostering kittens looking to home them and is now in talks to bring home a little 4 month old black cat. we're going to meet the kitten on Thursday and if things go well we'll probably be bringing them home that day.

which is very exciting! only is also happens to be the 1 year anniversary of when we had to put Pumpkin down so I have some conflicting feelings about it. mostly happy. largely happy tbh. but man I miss my buddy so bad.

HENRY hiii hello my love <33 i smiled soo hard when i saw this yesterday AHHH def made my day <333 and my morning was surprisingly quite good!!! i had my first day of the new job :( which was a bit terrifying...but then it turned out to be fine + everyone was quite kind to me which was very very lovely :)) but got to have a relax in the afternoon + watched some yt ate a bagel!!! with cream cheese + spinach + tinned tuna. which was actually sooo good :)) and had the BEST meal of the whole week in the evening with some friends!! we made. omg. okay so we roasted pumpkin and tomato in the oven (w some garlic, salt, pepper and olive oil) and then blended it up. and then boiled some pasta + mixed them together w butter it was SOSOSO good oh my god henry!!!!!!so delicious.

Nobody has said anything bad about my art. It's the lack of much of anything that's getting to me (again). I've lost so much in these past three years, my art is all I have, it's all I've ever had when things get hard, and I'm pmsing and feeling like shit, and I need so much therapy. I just want people to see my art the way I do, but I can't control that. So... I stew and stew and second guess myself.

Guess I'll go try and peel off my perfectionist suit and draw something shitty. Hopefully it helps. ilu.
