Got home early from the course because I feel sick and exhausted and I don't even know if it even makes sense if I go tomorrow.

I'd miss how to apply textures. And how layer modes work. Boohoo.

The only thing is that the whole course was so damn expensive that I'd feel guilty for not going.

Maybe I'll just take the first train home tomorrow.

This week's course is disappointing to say the least.

I think we totally missed the goal of the lesson, the assignment was boring as hell, there was a hell lot of perspective and construction involved - a thing I had barely done before - and our instructor failed to see us all struggling and getting disinterested in the entire thing.

Now I'm just frustrated and angry at myself although I know I shouldn't be and I don't even want to go and see that hideous thing I drew again tomorrow.

Course is going fine so far, even though one of my "classmates" has a very punchable face and another one a very punchable personality. This week we are doing character design but the whole thing seems more like anatomy class to me. Which is not bad! Just not really what I expected. Oh well, let's see what we'll do tomorrow.

Our instructor told me I should stop drawing pretty drawings and go study anatomy instead if I want to become a professional illustrator. I mean sure, studying is fucking important but I don't think I'd be able to live if I stopped drawing for myself completely, so I hope I'll find a way to balance those two things. Somehow. He also said something that kinda pissed me off today but maybe he just said it wrong because he was annoyed and I got it wrong because I was tired and exhausted.

Well then, I'll be home tomorrow evening again. (:
