                  SOME CASES weren’t easy. that much she knew. She had been with the bau for quite some time, that was in between working for interpol, and she knew cases could get hard. she herself had experienced some first hard and today’s was no exception. even as unit chief, things were meant to be easier but they weren’t. and the case that they were returning from.. well it was safe to say it definitely did not go as planned. Letting out a soft sigh, Emily walked through the plane holding the scotch in hand that Rossi had poured for the brunette before taking a seat from the other in the chairs of the plane “Are you GOING OKAY?”.

            THERE WAS nothing better than Chinese and wine with her best friend. And that was exactly what the blonde was planning as she drove to the redhead’s place. She’d just picked up the chinese that she’d ordered, grabbing a bottle of wine along the way. She herself had just come off of a long day at work and there was nothing she needed more than spending the time with April. Sliding out of the car, the blonde the grabbed the items before making her way through to April’s front door and knocked, smiling as the other opened up “I’m here with all the goods. Let’s eat, drink and talk ALL NIGHT.”

                  SHE WASN'T one to make her birthday known, that was for sure. the only two people who knew was her girlfriend and her best friend, but clearly, Andy had been speaking about it with some other fire fighters in the station ( which wasn't good because it would mean everyone else would know ) which is where she found herself. Seated behind her desk, allowing the person behind the door to come in. It was then when one of her newest firefighters made himself known to the Captain, with a birthday cake in his hand. She didn't like celebrating her birthday but she didn't say she didn't like cake. Because she did. Everything sweet. "If that's chocolate cake I just might not put you on toilet duty on the next CLEANING DAY."
