eleven years after dragging themself through the barrier, frisk is prowling through life as though nothing matters other than where they will find their entertainment next. they never linger much at one job, or one relationship, or a singular home, and it is not less than twice that they have changed identity, either. what is their purpose? that is a good question for another time. for now, they are far too busy evading the ever-present GUILT in their chest -- and over their shoulder, in the form of a see-through child who misses their home incredibly vocally, or through drawn-out stares laden with judgement.

02. return. ❤️ 𝖙𝖗𝖎𝖆𝖑 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖊𝖗𝖗𝖔𝖗.

it is about time the humans did something, thought the humans collectively, over their television screens and news articles. with two more disappearances on Mt Ebott in the recent months, there are no more excuses in not investigating the area further. whatever is up there, be it wild animals or whatever else, is going to be a threat no longer after local authorities identify the issue, and possibly bring light to decades-long missing person cases.

frisk argued with chara for three entire days before the older human was convinced to return to the mountain. warning the monsters was the least they could do.

the queen seems to have returned, but compromises have been made -- all humans who fall underground will be judged in the newly-established courtroom, and if proven innocent, shall be closely monitored by the Royal Guard, lest there is another... careless incident.

so frisk shall be judged, indeed. thrown into the dungeon the moment they were spotted, awaiting their likely doomed trial with nothing but the company of a ghost and a pair of furry guards, all frisk can do is think: why on earth did they attempt something as stupid as this?
