Cole: similarly chill dynamic with these two I think. I like to think post-dotd Morro would be on some solo vigilante shit and somehow Cole would get wrapped up in that so they sorta bond through that and ghost experiences. Morro did help him out during dotd, I think that'd matter to Cole. They're friends.

Lloyd: woo boy. This one's interesting. For the longest while it'd be extremely distant. Very tense. I think a lot of their dynamic would be cold pragmatism on Lloyd's end and Morro silently trying to make things up through action. Trying to prove himself, not even asking for forgiveness. It'd take a long time for their relationship to become on more traditionally friendly terms. After that though Lloyd is going to make so much fun of him, all the time. She is quite literally *THE BEST* at researching and knowing about this stuff. If Veronika doesn't know about it, Teruko, who kind of lives under a rock, (me too , me too.) being the only one as far as we know to remember it is WEIRD. Also, before someone says "what about memory erasure?" that answers Veronika, but why does Teruko know about it? - However, if it was covered up, I think it's quite likely the company who Min mentions in her bonus episode has something to do with it. Why? Cause introducing too many companies and sht would be confusing. Not very strudy arguement, I know, but I have a feeling the company is more connected to this than we think. Teruko knows about a past killing game. Which killing game is Teruko referencing? Is she referencing THH, or something completely separate? Like... a past killing game she was in? Okay, I'm reaching, but hear me out, okay? It's sort of maybe kind of implied that Teruko was in a past killing game.

This line is said by the guy at the start of the prologue (WHICH IM LIKE 90% SURE IS XANDER BUT THAT'S UNRELATED TO THIS.) , after they claim they have to end a killing game. Why do we need to kill sweet, amazing, perfect Teruko? Well, here are some ideas. 1. Teruko is responsible for the past killing game, or is at least the reason it's happening. Not necessarily the mastermind of it, more similar to the theory where the killing game was made to contain Teruko's bad luck (context because yeah). Not necessarily her fault, but she is the reason for it. I'd like to point out that this matches up scarily well with what basically the whole fandom agrees is Teruko's secret.

(How could I even select what secret to be your motive? Just about everything you've done in your life is worth killing for. The killing game is all your fault.) ...oh my. What if the killing game referred to in the secret isn't the current one? To be fair, all the above does match up with if this secret was referring to the current killing game, but I still think it's viable. 2. Teruko did something to someone and that someone wants revenge. What is "something"? Well, it could be again that the killing game is her fault, but probably not. "someone" could be PROLOUGE GUY AGAIN. I have this really weird theory that Teruko is the one who attacked prolouge guy with the fork (aka xander check out this post for clarification) - Technically, David could also be the one wanting revenge, as he also tried to kill Teruko (indirectly, through failing the trial) , but then Xander stabbing Teruko makes no sense. Xander writes future himself a note (the one saying "Kill Teruko Tawaki, again, whole other theory i can talk more on if you want) explaining the attack, and telling him to kill Teruko, as he thinks she is the mastermind or just an unsafe person (which, fair??) - And if we really want to start reaching, Xander is the mastermind and made the killing game in an attempt to kill Teruko. But like... is the killing game necessary? Why not just kill her regularly? Her luck preventing her death, maybe? This entire point is based on theories, though. So probably not lmao. I want to say point 2 but I think realistically I've gotta go with point 1. There's actually some evidence supporting it, unlike point 2. For Veronika's memory, the memory erasure does actually work here. MonoTV probably wanted interesting shit to happen, or it couldn't erase that part of Teruko's memory without her noticing a large gap in her memories and getting suspiscious. Now, let me get some stuff cleared up. I don't think Teruko remembers actually being in a killing game before present time, just that there was one. She brushes her memory off as just not paying attention in history when Veronika denies a killing game happening before this one (though she does hesitate when Veronika points this out - which is VERY weird) so she probably has *some* fuzzy memories regarding the past killing game.

- If my theory of her attacking prologue guy is correct, I don't think she remembers doing it. As i've mentioned way too many times, I think prologue guy is Xander, and she didn't seem wary whatsoever when she first met Xander, which you think she would be if she knew him, let alone attacked him. SUMMARY: 1. Teruko and Xander were in a past killing game together. At some point, Teruko attacks Xander's eye, although we aren't sure why. Xander realises that she's to blame for the killing game, and writes a note to himself, telling him to get rid of Teruko, and then he passes out. 2. Teruko and Xander meet in our current killing game. Teruko doesn't recognise Xander (or she at least doesn't have time to dwell on the faint memories she does have on him before he passes out), and stays around him for a lot of the killing game. Xander's memory was probably erased, but I'm not sure whether he had the note yet or not. 3. Xander goes stabbity stab stab on Teruko, due to the note. he panics, questioning why he made himself stab her. Teruko might have gotten a flash of memories (you know, the saying my life flashed before my eyes when something life threatening happens??), causing her to tell Xander that his plan wont work because she cant die. 4. (this point is straight flavour text) After Teruko wakes up, she might've remembered a bit more about the killing game, although still not the whole story. (playing into why she was so much more distrustful) Maybe she remembered knowing Xander at some point? Nothing too important regarding Teruko's memory happens after this. this summary really sucks, please dont take this too seriously. just some points to keep in mind.

I’ve seen a few posts comparing Harris to Trump, concluding in part that Harris is the better choice because she’s a prosecutor and he’s a felon. And that arguement pisses me right the hell off.

First of all, let’s not glorify prosecutors. They are the people putting people in prisons for the crime of being poor, the crime of being mentally ill, the crime of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. The idea that prosecutors are the ones going after “the bad guys” is just an extension of police propaganda.

Second, Harris in particular should not be glorified for being a prosecutor. As a former prosecutor, she kept nonviolent offenders in prison by subverting orders from the California Supreme Court to reduce prison populations. She implemented a brutal three strike program, criminalized truancy, and made sure kids got thrown in prison. Her “tough on crime” stance, even in defiance of the California Supreme Court, devastated the lives of countless individuals, particularly minorities.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t vote for Harris over Trump if it comes down to it. Trump’s stance on pretty much everything, from criminal procedure to Palestine, is undeniably worse. But I’m just so sick of seeing this copaganda take everywhere I look.

when you first interacted with alhaitham, he was still a haravatat scholar and you were a vahumana scholar. you both were incredible and outstanding students in your own fields though there was always tension between you both. you would see him late at night while cramming your own researches while he would secretly stare, busy “reading” his book. sometimes he would walk by you and would point out your mistakes. afterall, you sat by the book section where ancient inazuma linguistics were. he would pretend to grab a book from there but in reality, he was intrigued by you yet denies he feels attraction towards you.

“you know cramming is a terrible habit especially for a vahumana student like you.”

“also this word should be ‘their’ instead of ‘there’ how are you the top student of the vahumana darshan? how did you even pass the entrance exam?”

“excuse me?!” you hissed from the rudeness.

“also this sentence does not make sense. you should make it concise for the teacher to read.”

you stare at him deadpanned but inside you couldnt help but think he was handsome and smart. you’ve heard of a lot about alhaitham. the top student of haravatat, azar’s top choice for a scribe, everything.

you deeply sighed and made corrections, ignoring the butterflies in your stomach. you could feel your face go a bit pink when you noticed he was a little too near you. oh god.

you slammed the encyclopedia closed as you finished your last piece of your project about the mysteries of Tatarasuna and how it came to be. though other students have their own projects about it, the professors liked yours the most because of how updated and unique it is.

“tsk and you knew i was right, you even did what i said. you did in fact needed that. hm was i wrong?”

oh boy and thats how the friendly-not friendly banters and arguements started. it got even worst as you both graduated. when he became scribe while you became a sage. soon enough, you realized how much you enjoy interacting with him. not like you both would admit it but there was definitely sexual tension sometimes or even… all the time. everybody noticed it, even the fungus did.

alhaitham would talk about you a lot whenever he got invited to play tcg or dinner with cyno, tighnari and kaveh.

“do you like (name)?” tighnari asked.

“no. how did you come up with that?”

“are you that much of a dumbass? how are you so smart yet you cant even tell if you like (name). you complain or talk about them everyday.” kaveh laughs as cyno lightly chuckles. tighnari sighs as he asks for the bill.

“maybe i should just kick you out my house, what do you think about that kaveh?” alhaitham says irritatedly. but secretly, his heart is pumping so much he might go crazy.

though one day, you sadly had to go to inazuma for your final research/book about tatarasuna island. professors greatly praised it and younger students use your material for reference. you told that to alhaitham and you could see the sadness in his eyes, though he brush it off as he didnt care and he was awfully too silent when you told him the news.

“i heard the electro archon can be quite the character. take care.”

you both said your goodbyes and you were about to walk away until he grabbed your arm.

“…show me your research when you come back.”

you nodded shyly, as you avoided his gaze. you are so glad you said your goodbyes at night or else, he would’ve seen your flustered state.

during your stay at inazuma, the vision hunt decree was reinforced. you were forced to stay longer than needed. you hate to admit it but you missed alhaitham. you wished you could tell your adventures to him. you could write to him but it was awkward. you didnt know if he was your friend or not. although you both opened up about random stuff but still. he acts kind off differently with you.

alhaitham misses your voice and your sassiness. he scolded himself because he was supposed to confess however he got too scared. he deeply sighed. throughout your stay at inazuma, he was worried whether you were alive or not. kaveh noticed this and alhaitham finally admits he really likes you but he failed to confess. kaveh was shocked at the sight of softness he observed when he mentioned how much he admires you. as much as he wanted to tease him, he knew better and just gave him advice. alhaitham sent out letters however you never received it though he probably thought you ignored him. you lived in his heart and mind rent free.

time passed and sumeru political problems rose. alhaitham was busy with azar’s stupid shenanigans while you were still busy at tatarasuna island. you made a lot of discoveries, observations and, you even earned an electro vision. you became stronger and you’ve changed over the course of time. though would he still like you even if you’ve changed? does he even remember you?

you are scheduled to go back to sumeru soon since its been forever. a lot of people have been wanting to get out of inazuma. people from fontaine, mondstandt even natlan.

you did have responsibilities to uphold as you were a vahumana sage, though its been so long, they probably removed you. azar didnt particularly like you since you are so open about your opinions and you critique him (respectfully but you hated him). alhaitham quickly noticed how they exclude you in some meetings which was suspicious.

slowly sumeru’s political turmoil has gone to an end because of the people of sumeru and lesser lord kusanali.

the day arrived and you were on your way to sumeru. you were excited and you were ready to present your final research of mysteries if tatarasuna. or at least, for now. you wondered how alhaitham was. how your friends were doing. do they think you’re dead?

“we are about to arrive to port ormos, please make sure to have your belongings ready.” the sailor shouted.

you’ve arrived in sumeru. you are close to sumeru city but not quite there yet. as you stepped out of the boat, you noticed some young scholars who may immediately recognized you. you smiled and waved while you continued to mind your business and stay in the inn at port ormos.

cyno was curious at the inazuman boat that arrived at port ormos. this is one of the first boats that arrived since the vision hunt decree was already gone. he was not expecting to see you.

‘hm maybe alhaitham should just be surprised.’ he thought.

as the days quickly end, you find yourself in front of the entrance sumeru city. you put your hood down to remove suspiciousness from one of the strict matras that were roaming around.

“who are you and what are you doing in this city? we want to avoid visitors at this time due to the fact we are still recovering from the recent turmoil.”

“im (name) and i am the or i guess, the former vahumana sage. due the vision hunt decree, i was unable to go home please let me in.” you stated.

“are you lying?“ blah balha blah this stupid matra would not stop asking questions it irritated you. this earned some attention to the locals and luckily, cyno stepped in.

“she is telling the truth. she is known for her research for tatarasuna and just arrived here the other day at port ormos.“ cyno deeply sighs.

“o-oh! my apologies.” the matra was at disbelief and embarrassed.

you thanked cyno privately and he nodded. he guided you to alhaitham since you asked him where alhaitham was.

on the way you saw familiar faces. dehya and dunyarzard hugged you. you then promised to catch up with them after you see alhaitham in which dehya teases you, then she lets you go.

hands sweating, and heart pumping. you were nervous. cyno could read you in a heartbeat since it was very much obvious.

“does he know im here?” you asked quietly taking the long ass stairs. a long pause occured before he answered.

“no he does not. he was recently chosen to be the acting grand sage therefore that makes him extremely busy. he can explain you the details to what happen to sumeru because he would want to see you.” cyno said.

“the grand sage is not available. office hours are closed. it is past 5pm. if you need me come visit tomorrow.” he sighed exasperatingly. not even giving a glance since he was extremely busy with his duties as the acting grand sage.

Shirabu's Missing Shirt

It was 10:47pm and Yamagata had just finished work at dominos.

55 minutes prior a order was placed for 3 large pizzas but after waiting awhile after his shift time for the person to arrive he was told the order was cancelled.

His manager said he could take the pizzas as they would just be throne out anyway he was overjoyed and planned to share them with the team.

"Hey guys im back! And you'll never guess what happened.. I got three pizzas for fre!- why does Shirabu look like hes about to attack Goshiki?.." Yamagata had just opened the door to the dorm only to find an angry Shirabu ready to pounce at a fearful Goshiki hundled up in the corner of the couch.

"Goshiki lost Shirabus favorite shirt and now he cant find it" answered Taichi who was sitting on his phone totally ignoring the raging aura from Shirabu right next to him.

Yamagata sweat dropped at this information finding it to be the stupidities arguement by far "well... Its just a shirt we can all try an find it tomorrow?" he tried to reason with Shirabu "its not 'just a shirt' its my favorite! goshiki took it from me without asking cus all his stuff was basically in the wash! and now hes lost it!" Shirabu explained while glaring down at Goshiki

"i forgot where i put it! And i didnt know it was your favorite Ive checked everywhere!" Goshiki stated looking at the towering Shirabu infront of him "well obviously not enough cus its no where to be found!" Shirabu exclaimed getting ready to pounce at him.

"look how about we have another look around quickly and see if we can find it?" offered Yamagata trying to defuse the situation only to end up being ignored.

"Oooo someone call Ushijima! a fights about to break through!" spoke Tendou who was leaning on the counter in the kitchen watching in enjoyment.

Taichi who finally looked up from his phone acknowledging what was happening yelled out for Ushijima who shortly after came into the living room

"is everything ok?" asked Ushijima who was intaking what he was seeing.

"Goshiki lost Shirabu's shirt and is now about to be attacked by a enraged Shirabu" Taichi explained "i've looked everywhere!" yelped Goshiki.

"Oh." said Ushijima as he thought for moment "is it a red shirt?" Ushijima asked as Shirabu looks over and nodded to upset to even speak "Well thats in Tendou's and i's room Goshiki sleept in there a couple nights ago and left it, i have it folded on my desk."

Shirabu's mouth gaped a little as he looks back over at Goshiki with a slight glare and leans down closer "you said you checked everywhere.." Goshiki coward in fear as he looked in shirabu's eyes "w-well Ushijima was studying and i didnt want to bother him.. I thought the chances of it being in there were low.."

Shirabu sighed calming down as he stood up straight and followed Ushijima out of the room to get his shirt.

"well..." Yamagata clapped his hands together to grab the others attention "i got free pizza from work are we gonna eat it or let it get cold" everyone agreed and the night continued as normal but not without Shirabu yelling at Goshiki for somthing stupid.

This was more or less a shower thought oneshot it could be a hundred times better i realise its such a quick story and the shirt was found instantly ill try and add to this at a later time but its 2am right now (╥﹏╥)

Julian prefers to be in smaller groups, really preferably just the two of you, and he loves going back and forth between fun silly conversations and deep serious ones too. Julian would love your yapping, yap away, he's a very good listener. Although he does get a little spaced out sometimes just staring at you and thinking about how beautiful you are and how lucky he is and how he doesn't understand how he deserves you and then he has to awkwardly ask you to repeat yourself. Julian definitely is in need of a therapist friend sometimes but he also would be your biggest supporter when you aren't feeling as well. He'd let you take his bed in Mazlinka's little cabin and he's bring you special medicinal soup and give you lots of space to feel better. Or he'd stay and just cuddle or be there as a comforting presence if you wanted him to. Social anxiety isnt a problem for him, he's mastered the art pretending he's confident, so if you ever shut down socially he can handle it for you. He'd also be so supportive of helping you work on and improve it, it's like acting and he's great at that. He doesn't like conflict either, arguments and tension make him spiral and isolate himself, so he is not one to jump to causing tension. He may have a hard time communicating sometimes but he wants to and he tries to. He'd be so fascinated with your knowledge on architecture, whenever you'd be walking around he'd point out buildings and things and ask what you think about them. He also LOVES that you do theatre, he fucking adores theatre, he would love to take you to shows. He would encourage your sketching writing so much, he'd want to watch if you were okay with it, but he wouldn't mind if you weren't. He'd always be asking to look at your finished works too

thinking about the never ending cycle of life and death.

not just how 2B had to kill 9S over and over and over again FOURTY EIGHT TIMES.

but with the scope of the entire world.

the nier and drakengard universes are doomed to repeat themselves OVER. and OVER. and OVER again.

every single time, a strange structure named cathedral city appears out of nowhere, dragons begin to roam the lands, creatures unlike the world has ever seen before.

every single time caim while fighting the watcher ends up transported into a different world, japan 2003, as he, the watcher, and the red dragon all die.

every single time the maso inside of the foreign entities begin to spread a disease known as white chlorination syndrome.

every single time replicant nier will embark on a journey to save yonah, whether she is his sister or his daughter

every single time humanity will all die out, leaving androids to roam the planet

every single time aliens will invade and create machines with one purpose, "destroy the enemy"

every single time every android will fall, YoRHa will be destroyed.

every single time, the machine lifeforms with their fascination with human life will attempt to recreate cathedral city, maso, and dragons, and end up sending it back into the drakengard universe as it all begins again

with this all put into perspective, ive been thinking about the differences with every "loop"

we all know that replicant and gestalt are both canon, just different loops. but what else could there be?

the other night i was reading an interview with the main minds behind nier, in which its stated that originally there would be a scene depicting nier (brother) and yonah getting into an arguement that ends with nier shouting that he wishes she wasnt around so he wouldnt have to deal with her illnesses.

while it was cut from the final version, what if in one loop it actually happened?

what if in one loop, a young nier, bitter and angered by the death of his parents, felt like it was a burden to take care of his sister?

he doesnt want to lose her, but hes given up so MUCH for her that its beginning to eat away at his subconscious

and one day he lashes out, wishing to never see her again with some semblance of hope that maybe if she was dead he would be able to live for himself

of course, hed feel bad afterwards. hes still the same nier, caring, selfless, ignorant. hed apologize, remembering that yonah really is all he has left, and he doesnt wanna be alone.

everything would continue as normal, until yet another loop occurs

what if in one loop, upon entering shadowlords castle, learning the truth about project gestalt and project replicant, nier actually STOPS TO THINK(😭)

he realizes that what hes doing will cause the end of humanity, but he presses on anyways. its too far to back out now.

he sees yonah, gestalt yonah in his own sisters body. he sees how happy she is to see her brother, the shadowlord, gestalt nier, himself.

that doesnt matter, thats HIS sister.

he fights the shadowlord, knocks him down, but right as he is about to execute him, cut his head clean off of his shoulders, he stops.

in his moment of hesitation, he decides to spare him. leave him alive.

nier knows what its like to care about your sister, to sacrifice anything to see her live another day. he knows what its like to lose his father, and his mother not soon after. he knows what its like to have to provide for two people being only a teenager. he knows of the suffering the shadowlord had to go through, waiting a thousand years just for his sister.

so he spares him. he saved yonah, after all. he doesnt need to kill the shadowlord, too.

what if project gestalt doesnt fail due to one vengeful brother?

humanity is saved, all gestalts are placed in their respective replicant bodies. the human race lives on.

YoRHa is never created, the devola and popola androids are no longer necessary.

but the cycle continues anyways.

the aliens will still invade, the machine lifeforms will fight against humanity, fight against thousands upon thousands of emil clones.

the machine lifeforms, with their fascination of humanity, will rebuild cathedral city, recreate maso, and dragons, and send it back to the past.

and it all repeats again.

I can imagine you already have a lot of these, but Id like to ask for a matchup for bg3 please (no preference on gender!)? I suppose some people might consider me the mom friend of my group, I'm always happy to give people advice or reassurance, make sure theyre fed and doing well, and Ive found I definitely have the protective instincts for it. I have no problem calling out the bullshit of other people if it hurts them, and honestly if they even asked me to deal with the confrontation of talking to someone or telling them to buzz off i would without a heartbeat. I never have though, usually because i know better than to offer. Im also happy to take initiative and step into the leader role if no one else will or wants to. Im not the best with it, but ive been in situations where the only person willing to make a decision or do anything is myself, so its almost become habit. Thats really where the similarities stop though. Im very stubborn, which can be both a blessing and a curse. On one i really want to do or have something ill find a way to do it one way or another, which can lead to somr creativity on my part. However, sometimes, when it comes to arguements or disagreements, it can be hard to get through to me. Usually i try very hard to be understanding and i do well, but i know im not perfect. Im also very scatterbrained and unorganized. I love to be sociable and meet/talk to people, and ive always been very good at making friends, but im not the best at initiating those social situations. Im used to going unnoticed and never had the opportunity to work on it, so im used to just keeping to myself most of the time. Ill admit its not something i really like though; i hate admitting it, but i do love getting attention from other people. Its also not really a feeling i get often, but i do have a fondness for when someone gets protective over me. Ive had to fight for myself by myself a lot over time, so seeing someone else care like that would make my heart swell i think. Most of my hobbies are either creative or involve storytelling. I love to paint and crochet, and ive been working on learning the guitar, since i adore music so much, though my skills with each vary quite a bit. I do love learning too, some of my favorite subjects are math and science, not because im great with them (ill admit i suck with math sometimes), but because they challenge me. I’m gonna be honest, it’s probably that fiery streak of sorting out a confrontation that introduces the two of you in the first place. Lia’s always taken on the role of the protector to those that she cares for; always been the first to step in and go to bat for the sake of her brothers, and she doesn’t shy away from any confrontation if it involves someone she knows. Her moral compass is unyielding, and even if it gets her into more trouble than anyone would like she sticks to them. In a way the two of you are very much alike in that sense, as your fierce loyalty to others is an admirable trait. 

She’s seen how you care for others, how you nurture a healthy environment and take the time out of your day to make sure that everyone feels seen and cared for. It feels like a breath of fresh air after everything that they’ve been through, to meet someone who offers guidance and advice and care with open arms rather than closed fists and scorn. At first she mistakes these feelings as respect - it’s only natural - but it really doesn’t take long for her to realize she’s becoming downright smitten when you turn that attention and care onto the tiefling. Lia works to repay you back in kind by having your back anytime, anywhere - sure you take on the protector role for your companions, but who’s doing that for you? Lia gladly adopts the role, even if it does net her more than a few knowing side-eyes from Cal and Rolan who know damn well that it’s also an excuse to stick close to you.

The two of you mesh well for the most part. Granted you may occasionally butt heads in certain circumstances - namely ones that involve her safety because we all know she’s far from being careful. Where you can be stubborn, Lia can sometimes be downright obstinate, and that mesh goes together as well as oil and water when neither side is willing to make a compromise. Lia will be the first to admit that she’s got a fiery temper, and can get worked up more easily than she would like; but thankfully with time the two of you can find a balanced ground to talk things out on. When things get like this, give one another some time to calm down and come back with cooler heads, and things become a lot easier to handle and deal with. Lia isn’t above admitting when she’s done wrong or gone too far, and her apologizes are open and honest because she wants you to know that she’s listening and cares, even if she does get too fired up sometimes. Expect to find apology gifts squirreled away in your pockets the days following these occasional tiffs.

She won’t always say it, but Lia’s damn impressed at how creative you get in your attempts to get your way and see through your plans to the end. You say you’re scatterbrained but she’s seen you pull some tactician level feats in your pursuit of finding ways to get things done. Oftentimes it leaves her flabbergasted because half of your solutions are things that most people wouldn’t even think of, and yet there’s no denying the proud little grin on her face seeing the satisfied look you get when things finally work out in your favor after all of your hard work.

On the other hand however if the two of you are on the same page about something gods are you a force to be reckoned with. You’re a united front, an unstoppable pair that once you decide on something it’s getting done one way or another. Which also means that Cal and Rolan are going to suffer. Not a single one of the siblings are above pulling tricks on one-another, and Rolan has more than once complained that you give her an unfair advantage whenever you’re roped into Lia’s latest scheme because of how well you work alongside one another.

Lia is very much an organized chaos kind of person - to any outsiders her organization skills are nonexistent, but once you spend enough time around the tiefling you understand quickly that she’s organized in a way that works for her. And that organization naturally shifts to encompass you own disorganization - little things like slipping your keys into your bag when she knows you’ll forget them or putting things that are easily lost amidst the chaos in places she can find for you later. It’s the little things but the thought is what counts; and you have to admit that the tiefling comes in clutch whenever you’re in a rush.

You’ll never have to worry about initiating social situations ever again. Lia is loud and vibrant and has enough of a pull with her headstrong nature to turn heads, and this is something she uses to her advantage. Pretty much every first sentence out of her mouth after an introduction is introducing you, an arm over your shoulder bringing you close and a tail hooked over your hip as she does so. She wants you to be involved; wants others to appreciate you and notice your worth and vibrancy and all of the love you give like she does. So don’t be surprised if she does exactly that - hells, 99% of Lia’s friends have heard nothing but good things about you before you’ve even had the chance to meet them. She loves her partner to the hells and back, and she’s enough of a hothead to make damn sure everyone knows it too.

If you’re ever in the mood to show Lia any of those hobbies involving storytelling she is absolutely ready. Tell her your tales as you run your fingers through her hair and along the grooves of her horns and she’ll just about melt into your lap. Don’t be surprised if your voice lulls her into a content enough state for a nap - it’s just so soothing, and Lia often winds herself up so much that she’ll crash into a powernap at the mere notion of safe rest. Even before the trek to Baldur’s gate a rest without one eye open was the norm, and anything more than a fitful rest was wishful thinking. But here with you? With your gentle touch and loving voice in this little moment of peace you carved out of the gate for the two of you? How can you blame her for wanting to savor the experience a little? Plus if she misses anything it makes for an excellent excuse to do this again. Just to hear how it ends of course.

Lia will take any and all opportunity to gush about the crafts that you make, and she’s not afraid to do it any chance she gets. That art piece you made? The paint isn’t even dry and she’s trying to strongarm Rolan into putting it up in the reception of Sorcerer Sundries. The half finished crochet project you’ve been promising to come back to? Every single guest you’ve had has heard how amazing the thing’s going to turn out once it’s finished. It’s hard not to get flustered over how brutally honest she is about wanting to show off your work to others. If you ever ask why she’ll simply respond by saying that it’s because it’s your hard work. And whether you’ve spent fifty seconds or fifty days on a piece it’s going to get just as much love and recognition from your tiefling.

If you’re looking for more hands-on experience learning the play the guitar Lia’s got no qualms pulling some strings to get Alfira to help you. I like to think that all of the tieflings kept some form of contact after arriving at the gate so chances are you’ll be well acquainted with most of them before you even mention your interest in learning to play. The same goes for your penchant for learning - Lia’s been more the type of person to learn from experiences than books, but she'll fully encourage you to pursue your interests! (she gets sibling rights to pilfer through the books in the safer sections of the library, so anything you decide to keep from there doesn’t get more than an eye roll, a resigned grumble and a warning to be careful from Rolan.) It’s well worth it to see your expression warm at the sight of whatever piece of learning literature she’s brought home to spoil you with.
