Captain's Log

June 25, 2023 CT 1220

Thank you so much for hanging out with me on Twitch last night!

We had a bit of a technical difficulty in the beginning, but I think overall it went fairly well!

I reloaded the seed for Shipwreck Bay, so it would be the 1.20 version, and therefore, I had to restart.

All was well for the first 3 minutes, but then either OBS or Twitch glitched without me realizing for about 20 minutes.

What you missed:

I explored the village over the hill (that I glitched out in) but I didn't find a whole lot.

I then made my way over to the shipwreck on the beach, where I found the stack of 14 iron ingots and 10 iron nuggets. Nightfall was quickly approaching, so I had to make a bed, which required a crafting table and some wool.

The next morning, I made my way into the mine (big hole in the ground) to get more iron and cobblestone, where I picked up some copper as well.

After that, I made my way back up the hill to the spawn point, where I laid down the foundation for the starter cabin and a few walls.

And that is when I realized the stream had glitched!

I had originally named the stream Episode 1 - Lumber Mill, but once I realized the glitch, I decided the ep name was a bit hopeful, so when I restarted the stream I renamed the episode to Getting Started.

I finished up the starter cabin, started a diamond mine, and then got to work on the beginnings of the Lumber Mill and Tree Nursery.

I have a few household chores to attend to today, so depending on how exhausted I am after that, I might stream Episode 2 - Lumber Mill (for real this time) later this evening!
