learning new things tonight in a satisfying way
#dawn talks#for a long while ive wanted to try english paper piece quilting because i like doing things by hand more#and im good at whip stitching#so i picked up a pack of hexagon templates and spent a couple hours this evening basting some fabric i'd cut#its really hard! but hard in a fun way#trying to whip stitch without catching the paper in it is so frustrating. i've never made whip stitches this tiny!#ill post pics when i have a decent pattern going
