sorry but i'm just as confused as you since i fell out of it maybe 2-4 years after first reading (around 2016?), only checking on it sporadically, seeing a panel where the mug is now a naked lady? and clicking out of it

and when i wanted to reread it properly in this ungodly year of 2023, what made it special (the website and all its sparklies imho) wasn't there anymore. all wiped in favor of a rewrite on royalroad that i'm not sure where it stops since i'm still in the early pages, but it's apparently not up to date to where the original comic used to be (and it's on hiatus so it won't be any time soon)

the hiatus is in favor of other projects of the guy but honest to god it's like it never existed, what with fans also deactivating and moving on, inevitably auto wiping fanworks (if they didn't want it online anymore its fine, this is me having a soft spot over old stuff overall), it's a goddamn wasteland

like SURELY someone, (preferably a fan because i dunno but, whatever recent reception i've seen of it, they tend to not like the author(s) much?) out there knows what happened and could explain what went down to turn a titan of a presence in webcomic history into shreds, but also they probably have better things to do
