After two years of toiling at a snail’s pace, my Neon J cosplay is complete! Got to show it off at Ikkicon 2023 with my friends! It was the first time I went to a con with my friends along with a sleepover, and it was the most fun I’ve had EVER! :DDD

Moondrop came out to play at Ikkicon 2023

So I have fnaf brain rot now

I hyperfixated on making this cosplay off and on for several months. I ended up hand-cutting about a thousand iron-on vinyl stars to turn a bunch of thrifted sheets into appropriately starry fabric for my pants and hat. I learned how to work with foam clay and how to weather a painted prop. All in all, this was a super fun project for me even with all the learning curves I ended up having to deal with.

I had a ton of fun wearing Moondrop with my friends in our fnaf group at Ikkicon this past weekend. Many thanks go to my friend who both got me into fnaf and made sure to take dozens of amazing pics of my Moondrop!

Cosplay questions (homestuck)

Im going to IKKIcon 2023 with my friend and for day 3 im dressing as Eridan from homestuck. I have the basic cosplay but i dont know what to do for the skin. i dont know if i sjould just not do the grey skin, if i should make a grey blush thing, or if i should just paint myself grey. (dont worry im not going to repeat the bathtub incident.) Anyways. i just need suggestions in general for how to make my Eridan cosplay better. Thanks!
