Okay so spoilers for Rio route I guess

Emma also said something like TO Rio instead of Rio saying it to her in his dramatic route

I genuinely think that Rio and Emma are the 'canon' couple for ikepri this has nothing to with the fact that I will gobble up anything friends to lovers. Partially because of this and partially because no matter how it seems to those who haven't played his route, he does fit the role of 'beast'. Emma even made a reference to the movie by saying that if an old woman approached Rio of the past to ask for shelter, he would have refused because it did him no good — his kindness and cheery nature was all a facade, he didn't do anything because it was 'right' so to speak, he did because it made Emma happy. He actually became a good person thanks to the help of Emma instead of pretending to be one.

Hello! Is there an order to read the routes of Ikepri?

Hello Anon! Oh, yes. Absolutely.

I have also pointed this out before in a post I made before the release of ENG ver (here) so I'll copy the bit about the reading order over (but please do check out that post for additional references ^^)

Routes after starters are very very highly recommended to be read in order of release due to how heavily it will be spoiling the previously released route and how The Reveal in the route prior to it links to the subsequent routes.

The order: Act 1 Prologue → Starters → Nokto → Licht → Jin → Luke → Clavis → Act 2 Prologue → Sariel → Rio

Note: Details of Route Availability Status on JP ver can be found in this other post (here)

Nokto route: The first route after starters, in JP it was released just 1.5 months after the app was released. You could say Nokto's route is the one exception to the above order (in terms of completing a route to at least 1 end before starting to next) but please, at the very least, read Yves' Ch 1 (or if possible to Ch 4) before starting Nokto's route since it'll add more depth to his route. Chev's and Leon's common route also adds more depth to Nokto's route as well.

From Licht route onwards, the story gets darker and darker real fast. I am Not Kidding. Please be forewarned.

Additionally, for all routes, True Love (Romantic) End is the true end. Both end clear stories all continues after the True Love End's epilogue. Passionate Love (Dramatic) End is the alternative ending.

Note: Despite what some people might say, regarding "true end" or the lack of for Ikemen Series, that really isn't the case for Ikemen Prince. (For JP ver at the very least). ENG probably changed the ending names to make it the same as the other ENG titles to make it "easier" for western audiences but that Does Not Change the fact that This Is The Case for JP Ver. As I have mentioned earlier, (this may not be obvious for the starters, but for Nokto route onwards they have made it absolutely clear that) both end clear stories all continues after the True Love (Romantic) End's epilogue.

Further more, event stories which continues after the release of routes also continues from the True Love (Romantic) End. It is also to be noted that unlike other titles, IkePri is Very Consistent in its writing and their event stories happens sequentially with references back to prior released contents such as events and even the main route (and happenings from True Love end). The only exception for this is "If Stories" but even with such stories, they are still consistent on the level of an alternate timeline where MC and none of the suitors have yet to become lovers.

However, since the timing of IkePri ENG release doesn't align with IkePri JP, I do not know how the consistency in event stories will be handled on the ENG ver since JP ver has quite numerous seasonal events and various events in between those which directly referred back to those seasonal events that happened before it.

Bottom line for event stories: For events which are Not "If Events", some contain spoilers from main route.

Last words: After playing IkePri ENG for the past few days, I can't say I'm completely amused with all the changes the localization had brought about so I'll be sticking to IkePri JP but I'll be checking out the ENG ver leisurely. I have friends playing both versions so I am caught up to what goes on in ENG to a certain extent. But with IkePri now having multiple versions, do note that I am most well-versed in and more experienced with the original JP version.

IkePri JP 1st General Election had ended for a week and a half but I've been quite busy so it's a while since I last updated on here.

Yep, the #1 ranker of IkePri JP 1st Election overall ranking and #1 of Nokto's ranking is me 🦊👑💕

After a year of IkePri release I've also finally finished all routes released to date, both ends, and unlock all their both end clear stories. (Note: the route completion status here isn't updated since I don't want to be giving people heart attacks)

And since IkePri Eng is right around the corner, this is just something I want to share with everyone beforehand (without spoilers that is)

Out of the starter three, Chevalier route has the heaviest lore (and triggers, and smut) while Yves route is the mildest.

Chevalier route: heavily recommended for those who want lore and drama, and Clavis stans. Chevalier's True Love End is a Must Read.

Leon route: heavily recommended for Nokto stans. Nokto stole his route 😂 Not completely but A Lot, with tons of cameo in Passionate Love End.

Yves route: the start of his route (Ch 1) have a Very Important bit of information that ties to all routes. Also heavily recommended for Licht stans.

Last but not least, since Ikemen Prince EN ver is a localization of the game not a translation, there will certainly be bits here and there which are changed from the JP ver as Cybird finds appropriate. I don't know how much of it will be (if any, but most likely given how they localized the suitors' profiles and beast encyclopedia as well as how it's impossible to directly translate everything across languages) or where (until the EN ver is released that is) but enjoy and have fun!!

p.s. Look forward to IkePri's first story event (split into part 1 & 2) featuring all 10 suitors and in this SE, everyone has epilogues as lovers! 💕

Hello! Ikepri has love rivals like in ikesen?

Short answer: No. IkePri does not have "love rivals" the way IkeSen does.

Long answer: IkePri have one (1) suitor who is an unrequited love in all routes except for his own. In some routes, we have additional unrequited love as well. But the interesting thing about IkePri is... it's the same suitors who kept becoming the unrequited love interests again and again. Just some more often that others while most of them doesn't become an unrequited love interest at all. However, IkePri also gave us something new, all route have Wingmen.

As for who is what in which route... I'll be putting it under the cut due to spoilers

Note 2: This is based on the routes in JP version. Since ENG localization do change up dialogues and such, I do not know if these details will still be as identifiable as in the JP ver or will it be made more subtle and harder to pick up on.

Leon's Route - Nokto wingman, Rio unrequited (+wingman)

Chevalier's Route - Clavis wingman (passionate love (dramatic) end reveals that he's unrequited too. Additionally, the amnesia SE which continues from true love (romantic) end later heavily implied that in this end Clavis is the unrequited love as well and he continued to be so even during the event 😭), Rio unrequited (+wingman in true love (romantic) end)

Yves' Route - Sariel wingman, Rio unrequited

Nokto's Route - Sariel wingman, Rio unrequited & wingman, Clavis wingman in passionate love (dramatic) end

Licht's Route - Sariel wingman, Nokto wingman in passionate love (dramatic) end, Rio unrequited

Jin's Route - Luke wingman (+unrequited), Clavis & Sariel wingmen (+unrequited in true love (romantic) end), Rio unrequited

Clavis' Route - Clavis was left to self-support despite being so many of his bros’ wingman in their routes.... (emma & mc are separate characters in this case)

synopsis: rio is hopelessly in love with emma, who is already in a relationship with (or married to) one of the princes of rhodolite. mc has been hopelessly in love with rio forever, but as his best friend, is there for him for all of his heartbreak and turmoil.. while rio is none the wiser that that mc is basically stuck in the same position as himself since he's never been able to give up on emma and is blind to mc's feelings.

angst ending: rio never finds out and mc continues suffers quietly/leaves or he finds out too late and she's already moved on by then. (bonus hurt: mc ends up with a prince too)

fluff ending: after spending so much time bonding, rio ends up falling for mc and they both get their happily ever afters, together.

hurt/comfort ending: rio falls for mc but she doesn't believe him and thinks he's just going for her since he knows she likes him so he won't feel lonely anymore. slowburn that leads up to some dramatic kiss in the rain or smth and then they finally work things out together.

bonus fic plot: (potential ikepri *spoilers?) we run with the speculations that rio is/escaped from benetoite and throw in silvio and a dark past and have him and mc running away together trying to escape the mess of people coming after rio. all the while he struggles with his memory and trying to figure out why, and then from there either mc is good and helps him escape or turns out she was after him all along..... whelp this turned into a conspiracy all of a sudden

*this is just speculation/theory anyway, but congrats on your route coming out soon rio!! 🧡 🐶
