Wow this turned out amazing. It's not nearly as perfect as I hope and there's things I'm going to improve in my second version such as the in lining and sewing methods. I'm going to try and improve the string tension and the stich length and width. I also instead of using the thin material I purchased for like $2. And it frays super easily. I want to purchase. A yellow denim. I also want to use yellow zippers. So many things I look forward to doing in another version of this bag.

Kinda in love with these cups - from IKEA! (Two more in the set, not shown here.) Love the mix of vintage (floral) and modern (dots and lines), but still comes together as complementary to each other. Sometimes you just want to throw an one-mug affair - easy peasy and just one thing to wash. Sleepy Kitty

Sometimes I wonder how much these moments mean to Gala. I don’t know what her life was like before I found her.

Did she have a place where she felt safe to sleep for hours? Or was she always on edge?

Did she have a family that loved her? Or was she alone on the mean streets of Brooklyn?

All I know, is now she has a home and people who love her. There is a bed always open to her, and blankets all over the apartment for her to curl up on and nap.

I got this blanket from Ikea because it has major hygge vibes, but the real reason I love it is because Gal loves it so much. Where ever this blanket is, there she is.

This is my diy ikea side bag so far. It's really messy and stuff and I'm using are super ancient sewing machine but it's coming along nicely. I'm calling this one model one cause I think I'll do another version with cleaner stitching. :)
