it’s not unlike anything that’s happened before, paige’s fingers brushing against her’s as they mill about alex’s kitchen. in fact, it’s pretty modest in comparison. just an accident, nothing special. except everything is special in this new, post-paige kiss world. she’s trying not to magnetize little things though, allows a passing smirk to screw the corner of her mouth up.

“you keep getting in my way,” alex laughs exasperated, reaching over the blonde’s space to grab an onion. the underside of her arm slides against paige, she tries not to hold her breath. “spaghetti really isn’t a two-person job, y’know. nobody likes a backseat chef.” brow curves matter-of-fact, passing a sidelong glance. “what, you don’t trust me not to fuck it up?”
