So I literally just returned to this site last week to follow a person who shall not be named for GO3 updates (worst timing ever ik) and maybe what I'm about to say is a hot take and super long-winded but I need to get it off my chest here since no one in my personal life is as emotionally invested in this as I am. I have been an obsessed fan for almost two decades, but one thing I will not be doing is defending a powerful individual who by their own admission abused said power and is now trying to gaslight the victims. From what I've read these past few days, it seems their inappropriate behavior has been an open secret for some time now. I will no longer support their work. I am thoroughly disgusted and these allegations paint this person's every past word/action in a new, manipulative, and disturbing light for me. That being said, while I will actively be both avoiding any new content from this individual and trying to find ways to "read another book," I cannot overstate the profound effect their work has had on my life and identity. Humans are fallible and complicated. Art is transcendent. Once it is given to the universe it changes into something that is special and unique only to the beholder. It is OKAY to continue enjoying and identifying with art made by a problematic creator, as long as you are able to enjoy it with a critical eye and do not in any way support or promote the individual responsible. And for the love of Someone, do not blame the victims. Here is where things might get spicy but I'm gonna say it anyways. I hope Good Omens 3, The Sandman, and all this individual's other projects get cancelled. Or, at least the person in question is removed from them altogether, since the other artists who have worked tirelessly to bring these works to life should not have to be punished unless they were in some way culpable or privy to these incidents before the news broke. Victims getting justice and a sex offender facing the consequences of their actions is more important to me than getting another season of a TV show, even if it's one I'm obsessed with and adore. Sadly, I don't think the person who did this will be facing justice at all. They are financially and socially powerful enough for this to get swept under the rug. If the mixed responses I have seen across various platforms is anything to go by, their legions of impressionable fans are already prepared to defend them to the death. Wrong hill to die on, folks. All I can hope is that everyone does not let themselves be manipulated by this grown adult who made the wrong choice to violate consent when they clearly know better. Just remember that even though the news didn't come out until this week, this individual didn't try playing the neurodivergence card until after the most recently reported incident occurred. Whatever they are, it does not excuse them of responsibility for what they've done. They are a dangerous, narcissistic, manipulative person and that is their own fault. They do not need you to defend them, they need to recognize they are the problem, face justice, and get help, hopefully while fading into obscurity for the rest of time. I hope that all the hurting people in the fandom out there can find solace in whatever way they see fit, and if that includes continuing to enjoy the art (seriously, though, pirate it instead) that is okay. We are all deeply affected by these events and how you cope is up to you. But lastly, and most importantly, I hope the victims of these awful crimes can move forward from the trauma this has undoubtedly caused, and that the cruel, misogynistic hand of the internet can leave them alone so they can heal. Can't believe I have to say this in 2024, but blaming the victim is NEVER OKAY even if the perpetrator is someone you like.

Greetings all,
Today I want to talk about political advertisements. We have, from time to time in election season, had the great Ed Bark do a program about TV ads, but this time you just get me. In the early days of TV advertising, the ads were not very sophisticated and there were not as many attack ads. Here is the I Like IKE ad from the year before I was born. Later JFK had an animated spot that, like Ike’s, seems to just see how many times they could say the candidate’s name in the spot. Eventually, there was a negative ad where JFK used the words of IKE against Nixon, but the ad that really changed everything was the famous ad for LBJ, which is in the Library of Congress. It uses the power of montage in the same way the Russians did, however in this case; it’s not to make an intellectual point, but an emotional one. It tapped into people’s fears, perhaps in a way they could not articulate, that Goldwater was should not be trusted with the nuclear codes. The ad was made by Tony Schwartz who was really an audio guy. He wrote a book called the responsive chord that I recommend reading. In The Responsive Chord, he puts forth the resonance principle--that the meaning of an ad (or any other piece of communication) is not present in the ad itself but rather in how the ad relates to the vast array of knowledge and associations already held in the mind of the viewer―both factual and emotional. Thus, audience members do not merely digest a message; they are an essential force in creating it. Schwartz guides us through the many fascinating consequences. The implications for anyone looking to impart a message or influence decisions are enormous. There is Humphrey’s minimalist ad, just laughing at the idea of Spiro Agnew, the famous Morning in America, which we will get back to in a minute. Of course, we have the Willie Horton Ad and The Swift Boat Ad. All of these were TV ads, which is where people spent much of their leisure time. Now there are more than just TV ads. (I just saw a NY Times piece that Trump's TV ads are mostly false, just like the swift boat ads.) However, ads are not just on TV these days. They are on-line on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, and many other social media platforms and they can have a major impact without having to pay anything to get seen. In this year’s election cycles there are two very different versions of anti-Trump ads. There are the Lincoln project ads and the Republican Voters against Trump. Since both of these have nothing to do with the Biden Campaign, they are not on TV, and they don’t have to be vetted for approval, they just get to run with it. Both groups are pushing ads at a very fast clip. The Lincoln project ads are very slick and pull no punches. Perhaps one of the best is the Mourning in America ad that riffs on Reagan’s Morning in America spot or their ad Truth. Their ads get to the point and are evocative, but in some ways, the Republican Voters Against Trump might be more effective. These ads are not at all slick. They are mostly a person talking to their phone. No music or sophisticated editing. Each of these stories and there are many, many, many of them, are of a long time Republican talking about why they cannot vote for Trump or Republicans. Sometimes, it is not the filming, editing, or music that evokes a response; it is the real, honest, unmediated image/message that speaks to a deeper truth. What these ads do is give permission to those who are thinking about not voting for Trump the notion that they are not alone. So, what is going on? Before I get to everything else at this moment, in this week’s Cinematic Conversation, we will be discussing the classic The Night of the Living Dead (1968) by George Romero. The word zombie was first seen in 1819, but it was this film that brought us the idea of flesh-eating dead/undead into pop culture. For those who have been in my film classes, you will know there are three genres I strongly discourage: mockumentary, hitman, and zombie films. This film is an exception and you can see it for free. Our guest host for the week is Professor Rick Worland who teaches film studies at SMU. His first book, The Horror Film: An Introduction appeared in 2007 from Blackwell Publishing. His recent book, Searching for New Frontiers: Hollywood Films in the 1960s, was published by Wiley Blackwell in 2018. He was the 1997-98 Algur H. Meadows Distinguished Teaching Professor in the Meadow’s School of the Arts. Hope to see you Thursday night at 7:30. Last week, I mentioned the Angelika Theater was available to rent. Well, you can get a similar deal at the Studio Movie Grills, and here is a list of films you can see. Speaking of SMG, they are opening up at Plano and Lincoln Square in Arlington. The CarBaret at Brizo Bar will be showing Saturday Night Fever, and there will be dancing. On Netflix, I would recommend the documentary series Immigration Nation. This is not one of those series where they don’t have enough visuals to tell the story, so they reenact scenes. Here, the crew had great access to really see what is going on with ICE and it is disturbing, to say the least. On Amazon Prime, you should check out Midsommar, before the summer is over. There is no movie like this. The Women’s Texas Film Festival (on-line version) has wrapped by the time you read this. Congrats to them for a great fest! Have a great week,

Nano - 5, 6, 10, 11, 16, 3 (ik there are a lot but i couldn't resist ;-;)
3) Scars or painful spots
Nano’s entire body is covered with scars from involuntary surgical operations and experiments. Most of the time his clothes cover the scars. He isn’t even entirely sure what all has been done to him - how much of his body has been taken without his consent, what has been added that was not his own… is he still even human? How much of his body is still his?
The worst, though… was when they started cutting up his brain… Emma ordered it. She told it was for the best, since he had no choice but to become who they made him. It would be better for him, more merciful even, if he didn’t have to feel… The last emotions he clearly remembers feeling were terror and utter despair when they put him to sleep and he had no idea who he would be when he woke up.
5) Guilty pleasures
Daydreaming… reading… anything that gets him out of his body, out of his reality, and takes him someplace else. Sometimes he thinks that his imagination is the only thing he has left that is still his… and he wonders how long it will be before even that is taken away from him.
After leaving Toshima, Nano began to discover new, more sensual pleasures. The warmth of his partner’s body beneath the sheets against his own, the sound of music and the newfound emotions it induced that he had once thought were dead, the taste of green tea and freshly baked bread with jam in the morning, the feeling of warm running water against his skin, the rhythmic sound of his partner’s breathing as they sleep beside him, the feeling of his lover’s hands running through his hair, their lips against his, fingertips tracing his scars as though it would make them disappear, the pleasured moans that escape their lips when he caresses them…
6) Their vices (physical or emotional)
Misanthropy - Nano despises humanity to the point of reclusiveness/seclusion and active maliciousness/cruelty. It is difficult for him to forgive humanity for everything they have done to him, for everything that they made him do on their behalf, and for everything he has witnessed of their interactions with one another. He feels that they deserve the fates they seemingly bring upon themselves as retribution for their sins.
Neglecting self care - Nano has a tendency to forget he has a body that he actually needs to take care of until it’s absolutely necessary. He won’t cut his hair or nails, won’t change his clothes, will suffer pain/cold/discomfort/hunger silently, and will not sleep enough. He often forgoes safety and comfort unnecessarily and will make himself suffer needlessly, figuring that if he can survive it, he is fine. The cause is primarily recklessness and self-destructiveness, but even after leaving Toshima he will continue to keep this habit partially out of not wishing to complain to his partner nor give them cause to sacrifice their own needs for his.
Lack of empathy -  Nano is innately bad at reading other people and can come off as heartless and unempathetic even when no harm is intended. He can’t always tell how other people are feeling, and even when he can (especially if the circumstances are petty) he often doesn’t see why he should care. In his darker moments, he can be outright cruel and sadistic, taking pleasure in the pain and suffering of others.
Drug dealing. He doesn’t really do drugs himself (at least not voluntarily) because he doesn’t need to. He IS a drug. He finds it very satisfying to watch people OD on his blood and kill one another to get to it. This is his primary form of entertainment after fleeing ENED. He’ll stop once he leaves Toshima, although the temptation will remain.
Sex. (In a relationship.) Nano’s sexuality is complex. He dislikes people so much that it’s very difficult for him to get close to them or trust them. When single he’s more likely to preferentially choose masturbation over sex with another person simply because it requires less human contact. And if he has sex, it is likely to be extremely casual and either viewed as an instinctual means to satisfy biological drives or a means to sadistically control/torment/degrade/mock. (If he’s topping Shiki, for example, it’s almost certainly the latter category.)
Within a relationship, however, in a way sex is everything. It’s much more than just a way to satisfy lust. It’s a means for Nano to confirm that the person he loves is really there, that they are alive, that they accept him as he is, that they want him, that they are going to stay with him. It’s an extremely emotional experience in addition to a physical one. Joining their bodies is a way for him to feel closer to someone. If he is upset or losing the battle to his inner demons, sex gives him strength to keep fighting… to keep living in spite of the pain. It makes him feel more deeply connected to both the person he is with and the world itself which has otherwise rejected him.
Biting/Blood. Nano has a habit of biting his partners. He has a tendency to mix up the emotions he feels, and often confuses lust with hunger. Sex is very primal and instinctual for him so he tends to do whatever feels right in the moment without much consideration for consequences (regardless of whether his partner likes it or does not). He might bite hard enough to draw blood, because the sight and taste of his partners’ blood excites him. He can get carried away with his emotions/instincts in sexual situations and wind up being far too rough/brutal and subsequently hurting his partners. From a psychological standpoint, he finds drawing blood a way to partially overcome the normal limits of physical separation between two people and thus feels that it brings them closer together. It feels similarly intimate and psychologically thrilling if his partner were to bite and/or drink his blood as well.
Reading/TV/Music/Dissociation - Nano spends a large amount of time trying to separate his mind from his own body, preferring to lose himself in fantasy/imagination that deal with the horror and pain of reality. This habit is so ingrained that it persists even after leaving Toshima. Once he discovers things like television and music, he will binge watch fictional shows and lose himself in music because they have the power to fuel not only his imagination, but also trigger emotional responses that he are either not his own or which he has forgotten about.
Failing to get out of bed/trying to get his partner to stay in bed with him even when they have important things to do (thus making them late for work etc) - Nano feels safe, warm, and protected in bed with his partner. He doesn’t ever want it to end nor to be alone apart from the person he loves, even when he knows they have important things to do and will be coming back later.
Spending too long in the bath/shower - Warm water feels very good to him, and is not a pleasure he is used to experiencing. So if he has the opportunity, he can be indulgent. It feels even more decadent if his partner is with him.
Soft textures - Nano isn’t used to having the opportunity to be picky about physical sensations. However, he generally finds that he is drawn to things like soft sweaters, cats’ fur, soft bedsheets, fleece blankets, etc. He dislikes textures that feel overly starched and stiff because they remind him of ENED, so he will generally avoid them if given the choice.
Green tea/baked goods - It’s a pretty good sign if Nano remembers to eat at all, and at first he has a difficult time even distinguishing between various foods, but he’ll start developing preferences once he is around them more. He finds green tea refreshing, invigorating, and natural. He hasn’t settled on a favorite food yet, but he finds that he generally likes baked foods, both sweet and savory, especially while still warm. The textures are generally pleasing to him. He seems to prefer things that incorporate ingredients like fruit, olives, mushrooms, garlic, or cheeses. He is generally also fond of soup/stew and ice cream, despite the fact that the ice cream inevitably makes him cold. He still sort of has it in his head that he shouldn’t need to have sensual things like food that he enjoys and for a long time will prefer to wait patiently for his partner to give him such things instead of guiltily seeking them out on his own when he feels that he does not deserve to have them.
Alcohol - Nano won’t generally seek out alcohol on his own, but if it is given to him, he will generally drink too much of it. It’s sort of a positive feedback loop where they more he drinks, the more he wants to keep drinking.
Melancholy/Moroseness/Sullenness/Depression/Despair - Nano can be withdrawn and solitary when he falls into depression. Once he begins to overcome his emotional numbness, he will be able to experience not only love, trust, and joy… but sadness, pain, and terror as well. Sometimes the weights of his past seem heavier than others. If he’s left to too much introspection, he will tend to be more existential and tend towards self-hatred and misanthropy. If he starts to succumb to despair he can be outright self-destructive and suicidal. He will pull away from others and turn inwards against himself. If he does not have a solid emotional support that he can fully trust, it is possible that he will once again slip into recklessness.
Guilt - Accepting the fact that he has the power to change his own fate will lessen Nano’s despair. However, it also leaves him responsible for all of the actions he has taken in the past that he was previously able to excuse on account of not believing he had any choice in the matter.  He knows that there is no way to atone for all of the sins he has committed, and so he is increasingly shackled with guilt. His PTSD causes him to be plagued with nightmares, triggers, and flashbacks that can at times seem crippling.
10) Fears/phobias
Nano would tell you that when everything has been taken from you and you truly have nothing left to lose, there is nothing left to fear. But once you have something to hold onto, terror is free to enter your heart and consume you alive.
That being said, Nano has seen so many people die at his hands that he cannot help but imagine how those he meets would look once the life had drained from their eyes… even, and especially, those he cares deeply about. Human lives are so fragile, they break so easily… Surely the ones whose lives he took had others who cared deeply for them, loved them even… What if they took the one he cared for in return? Would he bring about their death by loving them? Or… what if the beast that lurked within his soul broke loose one day and hurt them… killed them even… perhaps they would be safer and better off if they were far, far away from him… yet he knows well the pain of being alone…
So in essence, Nano’s worst fear is himself.
11) Bad or petty habits
Nano is notoriously oblivious to the mundane details of everyday life and social convention. He has a tendency to be overly blunt and honest and thereby shocks and offends a lot of people. White lying is not a talent he has ever had to develop and does not come naturally to him, so he is not very good at it. Never ask Nano a question unless you want an honest answer. For example, his boss at a day job asked him if he wanted to go out for drinks after work to get to know everyone. He replied that he didn’t care about getting to know any of them and wanted go home and have sex with his boyfriend instead. (They were in Russia… he didn’t keep that job very long.)Nano puts on whatever clothes he happens to find first that day (regardless of whether they’re inside out or he’s worn them for a week straight already), he gets lost in his thoughts and forgets to eat, he leaves his keys at the baker’s when he is sent to buy food, he winds up locked out and can’t remember where he went that day and might have left them, he tries to break into his own apartment in broad daylight, he scares the neighbors who start rumors… then they have to move again, he doesn’t really understand why, and he still can’t remember where he left his damn keys… but why should it matter when he is perfectly capable of going through the third story window?
16) Dark secrets/’skeletons in the closet’Ohh, Nano has a lot of those… But to take the inquiry quite literally…
When Nano escaped and went on his killing rampage at ENED, he didn’t just tear off Emma’s arm… he took it with him. He couldn’t bring himself to kill her then because he still loved her in spite of everything, but he knew those feelings were twisted beyond redemption.Watching her severed arm decompose was somewhat cathartic. As the flesh rotted and fell from her bones, consumed by insects and fungi, and was brought back to nature, his feelings for her faded as well. Eventually he buried it, and with it what he considered the last strings tying him to this world. When it was over… he knew he was truly alone.

hunty x hunty cont
soooo we watched more! woohoo
we finished the hunter exam arc???? i THNK? lmaoooo at the end of the ep (21 i thiiiiink) we were on, satotz was like BUT THE HUNTER EXAM ISNT EVEN OVER YET or w/e lol aigh??? whats up w/that
anyways a lot happened in the last few eps that we watched....man i shouldve written this earlier but i litrelly havent been online. anyways
so during the hunter exam stage 4...gon is literally perfect (as i always have to say), him reuniting w/leorio and kurapika was rlly sweet :’)
of course he immediately offered to help....goodest boy
and wow that kid has such a powerful nose bvhjksfbjsk he rlly be a gr8 sniffer
ok literally the part where leorio was in the cave and was like GON KURAPIKA DONT COME IN HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and they both full speed sprint into the cave with 0 hesitation.....we love a 0 brain cells family
i love leorio so much he really just b running around w/a switchblade and a breifcase, both of which he barely used during the exam lmao
so bummed that leorio slicing up tht snake happened offscreen. how tf did that even work, he doesnt have a goddamn sword
gon just being able to hold his breath for almost 10 mins makes so much sense somehow...he rlly is one of those shounen protags who is just casually a ridiculous human being and doesnt even fully realize that its weird
that shot of him carrying everyone out of the cave was so sweet
and of course gon vs snakes....hes so perfect....he trusts his friends so much :’)
also random aside but im so glad tonpa is out and idk if i talked abt this in my prev post but i feel like in most shounen he wouldve been like, so inspired by gons shounen protag energy that he wouldve changed his tune and taken the exam genuinely and either passed or declared that hed definitely pass next year - but no, he was awful til the end, this aint that kind of story (yet...?)
have i mentioned that i hate hisoka? cause i hate hisoka. nasty ass crusty clown bitch
what else happened in the phase 4 stuff. oh yeah killua clowned on those triplet dudes (and hanzo lowkey), which was great
ok the opening not having changed this whole time is so funny. imagine if it never changed and its still basic and cheery when everything gets crazy and dark lmao
ooh my god i forgot to mention this last time but i feel like gons backpack is full of hair gel and hair gel ONLY, he only brought hair gel and his fishing rod. this is canon ty
oh gosh when killua and gon reunited at the end of the 4th stage....OOOUGH so precious...those two are so cute god. i want a compilation of their cute moments together i hope that exists
GOD OH FUCK the scene on the airship where kurapika and gon talked bc gon was clearly bothered by something (what happened w/hisoka obvs. i hate that clown bitch) and OUGHHHH OH GOD gon crying LICHRALLY killed me oh man :( i was literally just chanting NO NO NO!!!! at the TV cause seeing tiny baby boy upset was so sad....and ik it gets soooo much worse oh god i cant handle it
the whole convo was really good and really anti-shounen (once again...feel like thatll be a theme lmao) bc like, it was a healthy convo where gon talked honestly abt his feelings instead of using some shounen protag BS phrases like ‘it doesnt matter!!! ill be stronger next time!!!’ or w/e....and kurapika is a such a good parent oh man :(
again, cant get over how genuine and uncomplicated the teamup of the main 4 characters has been....literally no ‘we’re competing and only teaming up for convenience/the hunter exam comes before our friendship’ nonsense
did anything else happen on the airship. ider
anyways. can i talk abt illumi now. CAN I TALK ABT ILLUMI NOW. H8 THAT BITCH.
ok wait back up theres other stuff
the interviews w/the candidates was interesting! i love how the old dude was SO not picking up what Creepy Hisoka was putting down lmaooooo
that poor old guy lmao he seems like a decent dude, he was like oh i dont wanna fight gon and killua cause theyre kids,....RIP u red shirt legend
the bracket setup was so interesting oh man....very funky and creative. and then it wasnt really fully utilized lol, i feel like thats indicative of a bigger patten - hxh so far has been really creative and interesting, and clearly uninterested in setting things up simply to check off boxes on a shounen tropes checklist....i can already see what makes it so great if this keeps up bc daym, so many shounen have their interesting themes drowned out by the overwhelming necessity for the plot to hit certain shounen story beats, smothering otherwise new/fresh ideas and rerouting them back into the same old over-trodden shounen trope territory
on a meta level, i wonder if the author was like, allowed more leniency (’do whatever bro’) bc hed already been successful w/yu yu hakusho. i havent seen/ready yyh so idk how ‘typically shounen’ it is but thats st that im curious about
aaanyways. the tournament starts w/hanzo beating up gon for THREE HOURS STRAIGHT. jesus dude. so yeah obviously leorio and kurapika are the best parents ever and them getting so righteously angry over seeing this happen to gon is so heartwarming and good and also a big big mood
they love their son okay. also that was fucked up. ALSO i find it interesting that thats only the second time we’ve seen kurapikas eyes turn red
i bet that hisoka saw that also and somethign something phantom troupe, see bottom of post in predictions section
seeing gon get beat up like that made my heart hurt :( especially when hanzo broke his arm...oof.
god also i cant believe hanzo is 18 hes literally bald hvbhjafbjs whats w/hxh and making everyone a teen or younger lmao god
also omfg i love that leorio and kurapika are lichreally 19 and already have kids wow thats amazing especially considering their kids are 12. its so funny that theyre such Parents already considering that the age gap is kinda hilariously small, espec bc i thought that they (mostly leorio) were a lot older at first lmao
the fact that gon gets to win that fight against hanzo was a legit shock to me....again, anti-shounen. we’d normally want to see what our protag can do in a fight - espec in a tournament-style arc where the consequences arent as high typically - so we’d want him to go further, which is easy here bc to move on he has to lose, which is easy bc gon is a baby w/no offensive capabilities (that we’ve seen)
god ive talked abt this already but its so fascinating how we havent really had any full-on fights???? espec w/the main 4 characters????? we still barely know what they can do....WE STILL HAVENT BEEN INTRODUCED TO NEN????
ive been spoiled (i guess?) to the existence of nen but thats abt it. what can it do? what is it? fuck if i know lmao. so i could totally see them pulling a ‘we were using nen the whole time’ w/like hisoka or st, OR a ‘YOU were using nen the whole time w/out realizing it’ w/gon
ok anyways. that hanzo fight was rough but also gon is literally the best. he was trying to bargain w/hanzo to figure out a way where they could come to a conclusion that would satisfy them both - despite hanzo clearly outmatching gon in skill, so the effort on hanzo’s part would be pointless and simply for gon’s benefit....basically the entire proposal sound ludicris and insulting to suggest (or st, idk how to phrase it), but since its gon of COURSE he only has the purest of intentions and means it so genuinely that you cant even be mad at him
hanzo just knocking him out lmaoooo and then hes just out for the rest of the tournament???? thats so wild and...whatdya know....un-shounen!
then he wakes up n his lil x-shaped forehead bandage....ough so cute
also the whole convo he and satotz had abt gon’s victory and hunter license and earning/deserving it was so good :’)
also i feel like the show did a good job of humanizing characters like satotz. i legit thought he was a robot or st at first but it feels more like hes just A Guy now,....albeit a weird guy, but thats to be expected. its like, yeah this guy also took the hunter exam at one point, wow.
anways this is already long and i havent even gotten to the killua stuff yet lol so im gonna stop here for now. and introducing a new segment..........the prediction corner! where i dump my speculations/predictions, entirely for my future self’s benefit
PREDICTIONS:
first off as i alluded to above, i think that hisoka has some sort of connection to the phantom troupe (does he know them? maybe not, but he knows where to find them? idk) and when he saw kurapikas red eyes, was able to figure out that whole deal and said st to kurapika during that fight like ‘hey i can help you find the phantom troupe if you want :))))’
i kinda said this earlier but i predict that kurapika might get really wrapped up in revenge and go off the rails a bit. we’ll see, so far that hasnt really happened, but for some reason i kinda think that it will? we’ll see
i (incorrectly) predicted that killua would have known that illumi was there the whole time, considering that he was able to noticing the hunter exam dudes following him in phase 4, etc....but BOY was i wrong about that oof
iiii think that the whole ‘the hunter exam isnt over yet!!!’ stuff will be an opportunity for killua to pass this year still, maybe? idk abt that tho
i have more predictions but i forgot :( also some of them are more relevant to the next few eps ill make a post on
