Hey what about species headcanons? I like to think Riptide's a frogfish :>

anyaways, boy you hit the sofft spot of my brain here.

to make a very short list of skylanders;

Terrafin is a thresher shark (hence his name, im so smart)

Stump smash is a sandbox tree

i imagine Sonic boom's bird half to be that of a solitary eagle

Zap is partially an electric eel

Wham Shell is a king crab

and Tuff Luck i'd think is a eurasian lynx

and also for npcs because i love em too:

Sharpfin is a blue shark (species literally called that)

Pandergast is a bobcat

Octavius, the oracle presents as a mimic octopus

and lastly, i like to think Flynn is a flat-headed cat
