also ik maleanor fought alone bcs she was really out of soldiers and having lilia escape alone while she stops the Silver Owls is beneficial for Briar Valley (bcs remember that silver owls also ravage the land they trespass so if she escapes with Lilia then the damage Briarland couldve suffered would stretch to Maleficia's castle instead of just in Wildrose castle) but STILL i do want to see her being calculating because her position in Briarland military is that she's the commander yk, maybe she knew this was a bad decision (bcs of her scene when she was being sentimental ("im a mother thats why i must conquer) to lilia when he reasoned with her) i just feel like the story couldve portrayed it a bit nuanced and not just come off as "meleanor died bcs she was too prideful" i think thats just too easy/simple for the writer to write as her cause of death lol

❥ SAKUSA you were scrolling on tiktok when you saw this trend. it looked so cute, yet so hilarious, you couldn't help the need to try this on your own boyfriend. it was quite early, so you thought out a whole plan and hoped it worked accordingly.

the moment he walked through the door, you got into character and greeted your precious baby.

" y/n? i'm home..! " he calls out, a little too impatient.

" omi calm down i'm coming. " you giggle.

" can you run, please, i miss you. " he says. he drops his duffle bag, setting off to look for you.

he finds you walking out of the kitchen, and rushes towards you immediately. he traps you between his arms, before nuzzling affectionately into your neck.

" omi- you little baby. " you sigh with a smile. your hand moves to play with his hair as he sways both your bodies slowly.

" missed you. " he mumbles, placing soft kisses everywhere on your neck.

" missed you more, love. i made some dinner for you, go sit. " you tell him. he only whines as a response before snuggling you closer. caressing his face, you give him a soft peck before releasing yourself from his hold. he whines again, trying to pull you flush against him a second time, but fails miserably. he sits at the dinner table, not before heaving a little huff.

you walked over to the stove, finally setting the plan in place. you walked towards him, setting his plate of food down, then setting yours right after. you chuckle, before pretending to sniff your shirt.

thinking your plan might've failed you sigh before playing with his blonde hair. atsumu's eyes begin to droop until you shook him awake.

" huh??? " he asks, still laced with sleep. you repeat your question, and without warning, he dips into your chest to take a whiff of your shirt. before he brought his head back up, you pecked his forehead. he shot his head towards you and he looked like he's just seen an actual ghost.

" did ya kiss ma forehead? " he smiles.

❥ OSAMU walks in with plastic bags in his hands, yelling out a soft 'i'm home!'. this was definitely the perfect time to pull this tiktok prank on him. whenever he came home from work, he'd be much more clingy than he usually was. so, of course, you couldn't miss this chance.

" hey 'samu. " you smile, walking towards him. you give him a little peck on the cheek, before grabbing a few grocery bags from his hands.

he frowns at the lack of attention, and begins following you like a lost puppy.

" baby? are ya mad at me? " he asks softly. you turn to face him, before flashing him your famous smile.

" why would i be, love? " you respond, moving closer to caress his face. he melts into your touch immediately before you pull away yet again, to place the groceries in their rightful places.

he whines, quietly, but doesn't say anything.

as soon as you've finished with the groceries, you walked into your bedroom, quickly setting up your phone to record his reaction.

soon after, osamu walks in, sulking. you frown at his droopy shoulders, but you've got to follow through with your plan.

" and you're comfortable, so i'm not moving. " he replies, nuzzling into your chest. you bite back a grin as he lays soft kisses on your collarbone.

" rinnie.. can you please get off? " you whine. he ignores your pleas and remains in his current spot. you sigh, only to push him straight off, catching him by surprise. he lets out a small huff, pushing his bangs out of his face before giving you a dirty look.

" what? don't give me that look, i asked you to get off and you didn't listen. " you giggle.

" you didn't have to push me off, though. " he frowns.

" mmm, you didn't give me a choice. " you respond. he continues to frown as you get off the bed.

following the tiktok trend you saw, you look through the closet, and change your shirt. you turn around, only to see suna smirking at you. " okay buddy, eyes off the snack. " you laugh. he giggles, continuing to eye you down. you now think this is the best time to pull the prank, so you turn around, shirt lifted up to your nose. " rin? " you call. he hums as a response, staring directly at you.

i know this is like 6 months too late but i just came across your post about how bioware treats their asian characters and UGH it was so gratifying to see someone else feel the same way ... im also asian and ive been replaying the trilogy and the whole time i couldn't stop thinking about how peoples most hated characters were non-japanese asian and how the ONLY likable or at least neutral characters were japanese lol ... Yeah ahh im so glad someone got gratification from reading my impassioned frustrations!! I don’t know the term for this specific thing I’m thinking about, but I do know that a lot of scifi (Mass Effect included) relies on problematic anti-asian sentiment and more specifically Anti-Chinese (my Kai Leng rant always prepped and ready to be launched) tends to be the trend in scifi far as I’m aware, given that China remains and is resurging as the Western World’s boogie man.

(Gonna speak from my POV so if anyone feels differently i totally respect that) but I know that in recent decades, certain Asian American communities have been quiet on negativity, misportrayals, and media tropes created about us as a part of our parents attempt to assimilate into Western culture, and very often when we see any references to Asian pop culture or characters, we are told we should be grateful or excited our cultures are popular enough to be portrayed and enjoyed by Western audiences.

And there are some benefits; I can buy Simu Liu action figures now and Costco has started selling boba bars.

Irl, though, I think that it’s time to start taking up space and openly saying when things don’t feel right or that we’re being made into a media commodity. Scifi is a huge breeding ground for that because its popularity in the late 20th C in conjunction with Techno Orientalism has been used to express fear and worries about Asian superpowers (China specifically) taking over and threatening the World Order.

Ik it’s not always popular in the community to speak up about these things because the pressure to assimilate in America is extremely strong; however, I feel that I owe it to those who came before me to speak up.

Tangent over! But for any consumers of Scifi franchises like Mass Effect who desire to learn more about Asians and Technology related stereotypes, my professor is releasing a book this June called the “Model Machines: A History of the Asian as Automaton.” Which talks a little bit about Asian roboticism. He’s had some fascinating lectures about the connection between Aliens and Chinese people, which I had never heard anyone mention previous to his class, but I don’t know if he’s released anything specific to that 😭

deanstar ik this is a really personal ask and you don't have to answer if this makes you uncomfortable but how did you know you were trans? I'm questioning my gender identity and idk if i'm overthinking things or not

i can tell youre from the confessions blog... on a real note doe. uhhh i dont actually know for sure? i think i found compilations of lgbt vines or something and i joined tmblr arpund maybe. late middle school (7th-8th grade) it got me thinking abt gender and stuff.

initially i thiught i was genderfluid, i tried different pronouns and stuff. at first i did hop on as a trend bc i was young and didn't want to be an 'evil cishet' (nothing wrong w being cishet!) but anyways i eventually discovered that i was trans and later figured out i was a binary trans guy.

there's a lot of overthinking, ive had plenty of 'what if im faking' moments. These feelins amplify during puberty as well because i had many thoughts that were like 'oh what if its just a hormonal imbalance and im faking it for attention' and it sucked but after like. maybe 5 or 6 years im pretty confident that i'm a trans guy.

its your journey and being trans is different for everybody so i cant tell you what exactly you will feel, but i can give some advice: try different pronouns (if youre not already), try different names if you want, think long term (would you be most comfortable being an old woman, an old man, or an old enby? how do you see yourself when you think of the future?), mess with gender presentation, etc.

maybe watch videos by trans people. get various perspectives. watch tiktok compilations. dig through some tags, see if things click. see if you feel thst 'oh, i do that too' thing.

it's tough at times and there's nothing wrong with realizing that a certain label/identity didn't fit like you thought it would. sometimes it takes a while to find yourself. but when you do, it's like the weight of the world is jusf lifted off your shoulders. it'll stll be tough, ther's obstacles (like whether or not you're able to transition. various things can prevent one from medically/surgically transitioning such as pre-existing medical conditions, money, or personal choice) but at least you know who you are and who you're gonna be.

so in the wake of the analog horror trend, there has been an off-shoot known as "digital horror" which uses the aesthetics of late 90s eealy 2000s children's orientated websites and flash animation to portray horror stories.

like, yeah ik it's literally just the reinvention of creepypasta but my biggest issue is how none of it looks convincing, when that era is so easily replicable.

first and foremost, the videos are mostly 144p with a low low bit-rate. whilst this was commen in home cameras at the time, it was not commen in animated videos. there, the quality of these video would be around 360p with a high enough bitrate and framerate. and flash animations basically worked as vectors than anything else. you could watch a flash animation or play a flash game at any fiddelity and it'd conform to it with little to no notice in drop of quality.

another thing is that they're using ms-paint to draw the characters, when instead they should be using an early early form of photoshop.

and the audio is off. they lowered the bitrate when they should instead by lowering the sample rate to around 16,000 Hz as that was the standard for many flashgames and animations at the time.

okay so i just don’t know anymore. need therapy and been just thinking. rn im 21 and just graduated from college. tough four years. but im struggling to adjust to not being in school and feel like im not thinking big enough. little ambition but idk i have plans in the fall and I’ll be busy w a new opportunity. i just wanna keep winning like yumeko. or idk if i should take this time to focus on other things like improving my health, having fun and relaxing. in my ideal world id wanna work 2 jobs ideally one being Sephora and the other bartending but i would equally benefit from working from another makeup store or a nice clothing store like Nordstrom or urban outfitters two of which i applied to. i also hit up my old job target which reminded me of my old ting 😭. but idk i feel so far from control and things are not working out in my favor but i could be wrong and maybe these rejections will prove to offer future benefits such as me working at a better store or getting more money or a better opportunity. i love makeup. it’s self expression, a complement to an outfit, beauty. i made an ig page solely dedicated to makeup. i plan out looks and take pictures and videos. this week imma do a rainbow under eye and then cheetah/leopard print and pink zebra maybe green and then but for makeup my goal is to get more traction on my page, set trends, capitalize off it through brand deals and sponsors, get free makeup and learn how to do makeup professionally, do peoples makeup and serve looks. okay so that involves me doing my makeup more, posting consistently, researching techniques, trying diff products and applying to jobs with makeup. i can also start blogging about makeup too. I’m also thinking about getting my bartenders license during this gap of time. Im horny asl and i can’t wait to get some rump. i love missionary and freaky shit. love getting my pussy ate and trying new shit. im getting back to my thickness. trying to be a curvy bitch in a body car ( g wagon). but yeah i wanna be a bad bitch 😍 serve looks and always be on point. be iced out and fly and an it girl. but yeah ik this nigga w good dick and he’s an aquarius and a lil disrespectful so idk if i should i think one last time and then that’s it. he’s said he’s sorry and all but idk if im being fooled out the pussy. but does it matter if we fuck and most likely how would that make me feel? why am i so intent on leveling up everything in my life but not in my sex or romantic life. dealing w the same bs, im not having it ! it’s also me too, i be acting crazy and not standing up. not respecting myself and shit so am i getting what im putting out ? let’s think more about our dream nigga or gf and think of ways i want to prepare to receive them. anyway. health i need to get better at that too. i want to eat a better diet, walk everyday and maybe smoke less but it’s always tricky i feel like smoking does wanders for my mental health. writing too and maybe it’s about rewards and courage. limiting smoking to 3-4 times a week instead of everyday. but let’s see drinking more water and im invited to interview at club Pilates which would also be a good opportunity for me. maybe Pilates will help me find peace and myself. or is that me expecting too much out of a job ? ive been getting so irritated lately. little things are pissing me off. but let’s see trading rn is going well but I’m still practicing and need to develop a better strategy and research more. need 4-5 streams of income to pay off my credit cards and live my soft life. but i like learning new things and being in certain spaces that promote growth:

hello pixelated peeps. it is 00:01 on saturday, june 12. ive spent the past four hours obsessively watching euphoria (a bit late to the trend, ik), and i have suddenly become overwhelmed with the need to do something that has main character energy. because it is midnight and im unable to leave my house to purchase any sort of illegal substance, the next best option was starting a tumblr blog. an anonymous tumblr diary, if we want to be specific. im here to document every day of my summer from here until i move into my college dorm in august. i’ll most likely spend each entry talking about shit no one cares about, but no one will see this anyway so its gucci.

in the spirit of diary-esque things, i think this entry should be about what i did today. 

so, first i had to go get a vaccination that i never ended up getting as a child because someone fucked up along the way and entered it into my chart without giving it to me. unfortunately, i never did contract hepatitis a, so i cannot sue anyone and live in luxury. 

following this, we finally found an opening in our oh-so-busy and important schedule (sarcasm), to finally go get my liscence after a wopping THREE YEARS of having my permit. and the kicker is, i finally get there after 3 fucking years, just to have FIFTY people ahead of me in line. so, we instead ditched out on that and ran some errands. 

errands which consisted of target and starbucks because basic. 

after i got home really all i did was be lazy as fuck and wish i was actually doing something with my life.

the family made dinner that my autism rendered me unable to consume, so i instead ate a large ass bowl of cereal and binged euphoria for way too long. 

i also havent taken my meds for three days because my mother has been obnoxiously on my ass about it, so i simply quit out of spite. 

im currently eating doritos and listening to the twilight soundtracks, and once i finish this entry i’ll most likely watch regular show into ungodly hours of the morning, sleep in until 2 and show up fashionably late to the party im expected at tomorrow. 

a party at which i will not engage in ‘shenanagins’ (drugs)... or so my mother thinks. 

the woman is so sus about the shit that i get up to but wont ever investigate so she can prove her suspicions?

idk theres not much she can do anyway, i’m turning 18 in 34 days.
