     𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻'𝘁  𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲  𝗹𝗲𝘁  𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳  𝗲𝗻𝗱  𝘂𝗽  𝗶𝗻  𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀  𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻,     back  pressed  up  against  the  wall,  green  eyes  focused  on  him  as  her  hands  pressed  against  his  chest  as  if  she's  going  to  push  him  away,  except  she  doesn't.     maggie  can't  stop  the  way  her  breath  shakes  at  the  feel  of  him  so  close,  his  words  just     𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴     how  much  she  wanted  him  and  she  couldn't  even  deny  it  if  she  wanted  to.     she's  trying  to  keep  her  breathing  under  control  and  she  knows  she  should  push  him  away,  throw  him  out  of  this  room  and  be  done  with  it  all,  never  let  it  happen  again.     but  as  much  as  she  knew  what  she  should  do,   she  didn't  want  to  do  it  and  she  felt  like  she  couldn't  help  but  give  into  something  that  she     𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱     more  than  she  was  even  willing  to  admit  to  herself.     maggie  felt  like  she  was  screaming  at  herself,  to  not  let  herself  get  completely  caught  up  on  it  all,  that  it  had  to  be  some  kind  of  vampire  trick  and  that  was  why  she  was  feeling  like  this.     except  it  wasn't  a  trick.     it  was  just  pure  desire  in  a  way  that  she  hadn't  felt  in  years.

     𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗲  𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻'𝘁  𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿  𝘁𝗵𝗲  𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁  𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲  𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁  𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲  𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀,     this  want  or  need  to  be  close  with  someone  like  this,  except  somehow  it  was  worst  that  it  was  a  vampire  that  made  her  feel  all  of  this.     she  found  herself  thinking  about  him  in  a  way  that  was  borderline  sinful,  she  almost  got  excited  at  the     𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗮     of  getting  a  chance  to  fight  with  him  and  anytime  they  came  face  to  face  was  a  thrill  in  itself.     the  fact  it  seemed  like  she  couldn't  go  anywhere  without  him  finding  her  and  whilst  she  could  be  taking  certain  steps  to  protect  herself  from  him,  she  kept  staying  in  places  like  this  motel  knowing  he  can  enter  and  get  close  to  her.     even  now  as  she  stood  in  front  of  him,  her  only     𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲     was  the  blessed  silver  cross  she  wore  around  her  neck,  all  of  her  weapons  were  not  within  her  reach  and  it  was  a  dangerous  game  she  was  playing,  all  the  risk  was  on  her  and  yet  it  just  added  to  the     𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹     of  it  all.

     𝘁𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗵  𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗯𝗼𝘁𝘁𝗼𝗺  𝗹𝗶𝗽  𝗮𝘀  𝗵𝗲  𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝘀  𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿,     green  eyes  watching  him  so  carefully  and  she  just  had  to  try  to  keep  herself  in  control  somewhat.     she  already  felt  like  she  was  giving  him  too  much  power,  betrayed  by  her  own  heartbeat  and  the  way  she  felt  her  skin  react  to  the  chill  of  his  as  his  finger  traced  over  her  face  and  down  her  shoulder.     maggie  almost  felt  herself  look  away  from  the  intense  look  in  his  eyes,  his  words  making  her  heart  race  and  her  tongue  flicked  over  her  lips  as  she  tried  to  not  think  about  the  idea  of  him  touching  her  more.     except  she  already  had     𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁     about,  more  than  she  would  ever  admit  to  him,     he  was  talking  about  wanting  what  he  can't  have  and  she  knew  that  the  feeling  was  shared,  she  wanted  him  in  a  way  that     𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗰𝗸𝗲𝗱     her  more  than  anything.     but  at  the  same  time,  it  was  craving  that  she  was  aching  for  it  to  be  satisifed  and  she  would  give  him     𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴     right  now  if  he  asked  for  it.

     𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱  𝘁𝗶𝗹𝘁𝘀  𝗮𝘀  𝗵𝗲  𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘀  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗿,     her  breath  catching  in  her  throat  as  she  looks  at  him,  her  hands  just  gripping  at  the  shirt  he  was  wearing.     maggie  couldn't  stop  the  groan  as  he  kissed  her,  it  was  hungry  and  hot,  she  didn't  even  resist  as  she  kissed  him  back,  pressing  herself  against  him.     she  moans  into  the  kiss,  knowing  that  she  will  give  into  him,  any  time  he  called  her  huntress  it  just  drove  her  wild  and  she  just  knew  that  right  now,  she  didn't  have  the  strength  to  push  him  away.     maggie  moans  as  he  bites  her  lip,  a  part  of  her  not  even  worrying  that  he  could  draw  blood,  green  eyes  opening  to  look  at  him.     her  breathing  was  heavy  as  she  feels  herself  lean  into  him,     𝗮𝗹𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁     desperate  for  another  kiss,  especially  if  he  was  going  to  keep  kissing  her  like  that.

     𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀  𝗳𝗲𝗹𝘁  𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁  𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲  𝘁𝗼  𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵  𝗵𝗶𝗺  𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆,     to  not  cross  that  line  with  him  in  a  way  that  she  knew  would  potentially  be  dangerous.     if  she  let  this  happen,  she  knew  that  they  couldn't  just  act  like  this  never  happened.     something  told  her  that  if  they  crossed  this  line,  it  would  just  keep  happening  and  it  was  something  a  part  of  her  knew  that  she  shouldn't  let  it  happen,  maggie  really  wanted  it  to  happen.     her  eyes  dart  from  his  eyes  to  his  mouth,  tongue  flicking  over  her  lips  before  she  bites  down  softly  on  her  bottom  lip  again,     "     yes,     "     her  voice  was  breathy  and  she  could  barely  hear  herself,  but  she  knew  that  he  had  caught  it.     a  part  of  her  knew  that  she  should  say  no,  but  she  also  couldn't  keep  resisting  this  anymore,  she  wanted  this  more  than  she  really  admitted  to  herself.     her  hands  relax  their  grip  on  her  shirt  and  all  she  wanted  was  to  get  his  clothes  off,     "     i  want  you,     "     maggie  admits,  her  voice  barely  a  whisper  but  before  he  can  say  anything  else,  she  leaned  up  into  him,  arms  wrapping  around  his  neck  as  she  kisses  him,  pouring  all  her  own  hunger  and  desire  into  every  kiss.

     𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗲  𝗵𝗮𝗱  𝗳𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱  𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳  𝗶𝗻  𝗯𝗮𝗱  𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀  𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲,     difficult  ones  that  were  hard  to  get  out  of  and  she  had  to  fight  with  every  breath  in  her  to  make  it  out  alive.     but  she  always  did,  she  always  found  a  way  out  and  she  didn't  just  let  some  vampires  get  the  upperhand  on  her.     except  she  knew  she  shouldn't  have  gone  after  this  group  of  vampires     𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘆  𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲,     these  kind  of  vampires  stuck  closer  to  the  more  demonic  nature  and  they  were  difficult  in  their  own  way.     she  should've  come  with  some  help  and  decent  back  up,  but  she  had  dealt  with  this  kind  of  vampires  before  and  she  knew  she  could  handle  it.     even  if  it  looked  like  she  didn't,  her  back  pinned  against  a  table,  two  vampires  holding  her  down  and  a  third  just  waiting  to  strike,  which  she  wasn't  giving  him  a  chance  to,  managing  to  kick  him  away  every  time  he  tried  to  get  close  and  she  wasn't  about  to  stop  fighting  the  two  pinning  her  down.     what  she  hadn't  expected  was  another  two  vampires  that  appeared  to  hold  her  down  even  more,  just  making  her     𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗴𝗴𝗹𝗲     even  harder  and  she  wasn't  about  to  give  up,  she  would  keep  fighting  and  she  would  get  out  of  this.     all  she  had  to  do  was  wait  for  the  right  moment.

     𝘁𝗵𝗲  𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝘃𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲  𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗲  𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻,     ice  cold  hands  grabbing  at  her  face  as  he  leaned  in  to  get  a  taste  and  she  had  thought  for  a  brief  moment,  this  was  it,  she  kept  fighting  and  trying  to  pull  herself  from  their  slipping  grip.     headbutting  the  vampire  with  as  much  force  as  she  could  considering  how  he  was  holding  him,  causing  him  to  let  her  go  with  a  snarl  as  he  pulled  back  a  short  way  and  before  he  could  come  back  for  another  try,  he  was  pulled  off  of  her  completely  and  tossed  aside.     the  two  holding  legs  moved  to  attack  the  newcomer  who  had     𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝘂𝗲𝗱     her,  who  was  distracting  the  two  holding  her  arms  enough  to  allow  her  to  fight  back  to  get  herself  free  from  their  grips,  hand  going  for  her  knife  and  immediately  stabbing  the  vampire  closest  to  her  in  its  dead  heart.     looking  around  to  see  the     𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘁  𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻     she  would've  thought  to  find  her  here,  helping  her  by  killing  the  vampires  that  had  attacked  her,  maggie  was  surprised  to  see  negan  tearing  apart  one  of  the  vampires.     breathing  hard  as  she  tried  to  stay  focused,  grip  tightening  around  her  knife  as  she  moved  back  into  the  fight  she  had  started.

     𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗲  𝘄𝗮𝘀  𝗮𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲  𝗼𝗳  𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁  𝗵𝗼𝘄  𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗹𝘆  𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻  𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱  𝗯𝗲,     he  had  bragged  about  it  enough,  plus  his  repuation  was  well  known  and  she  had  seen  the  carnage  he  could  leave  behind.     but  this  was  different.     she  had  never  known  him  to  kill  his  own  kind,  even  ones  like  these  vampires.     the  way  he  was  just  attacking,  ripping  part  any  of  them  that  came  after  them  or  got  too  close  to  her  without  her  notice.     after  they  were  all  dead,  she  could  feel  his  anger  radiating  off  of  him,  making  her  almost     𝗰𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀     as  she  approaches  him  slowly.     she  still  had  no  idea  what  he  was  doing  out  here,  if  he  had  been  following  her  this  entire  time,  but  she  definitely  understood  to  a  certain  extent  as  to  why  he  had  saved  her,     "     i  had  it  handled,  you  didn't  need  to  do  that.     i've  gotten  out  of  worst  scrapes  than  this  one,     "     maggie  admitted,  despite  knowing  how  it  had  looked  when  he  had  entered.     she  just  couldn't  allow  herself  to  look  or  feel  weak  in  front  of  him.     but  it  was  clear  to  her  that  he  was  still  caught  up  in  the  fight,  she  wasn't  even  sure  if  he  had  even  taken  a  single  word  of  what  she  said  in.     putting  her  knife  back  into  the  sheath  attached  to  her  thigh,  she  reached  out  to  take  one  of  his  hands,     "     hey,  look  at  me,     "     her  voice  was  soft  and  gentle  as  green  eyes  found  his,  her  breathing  calm  and  steady  as  she  takes  his  hand,  pressing  it  against  her  chest  over  her  heart,  hoping  the     𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴     of  her  heart  would  help  him  calm  down,     "     i'm  okay.     i'm  alive.     i'm  right  here.     i'm  okay,     "

     𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗱𝗮𝗱𝗱𝘆  𝗵𝗮𝗱  𝘁𝗼𝗹𝗱  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗮𝗹𝗹  𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁  𝘃𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀  𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺  𝗮  𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴  𝗮𝗴𝗲,     she  had  grown  up  hearing  all  about  them,  the  terrible  things  they  did  and  all  the  ways  that  was  best  to  take  them  out.     she  remembered  the  first  time  she  ever  saw  a  vampire,  being  able  to  figure  out  who  was  one  amongst  a  crowd  was  a  trick  that  only  a  few  could  actually  pick  up.     it  was  why  vampires  were  supposed  to  be  the     𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁     predator,  they  blended  in  amongst  their  prey,  using  their  beauty  and  charm  to  lure  in  unsuspecting  people  away  to  their  death.     she  hadn't  been  impressed  by  their  good  looks  and  a  charm  that  made  her  skin  crawl,  they  were  just  a  monster  that  killed  the  innocent  to  keep  on  living.     if  you  could  call  what  they  are  alive.     it  was  their  family's  duty  to  do  this,  passed  down  from  generations  and  she  was  not  exception  to  that.     her  daddy  had  said  she  was  the  best  he  had  ever  seen,  better  than  he  had  ever  been  and  he  had  told  her  that  he  felt     𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲     knowing  that  she  was  out  there  to  make  sure  that  vampires  couldn't  keep  up  their  reign  of  terror.     but  despite  all  her  training  and  experience,  all  her  fighting  and  everything  she  had  done,  it  hadn't  kept  her  family  safe.     it  would  always  be  her  biggest  failure  and  something  she  couldn't  ever  undo,  but  what  she  could  keep  doing  was  fighting  and  making  sure  that  no  vampire  ever  felt  safe,  not  whilst  she  was  still  alive.

     𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗮𝗻  𝘄𝗮𝘀  𝘀𝗼  𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁  𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺  𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝘃𝗮𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘀  𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝗵𝗮𝗱  𝗺𝗲𝘁,     so  bold  and  open  about  exactly  what  he  was.     though  maybe  he  didn't  feel  the  need  to  hide  since  she  knew  exactly  what  he  was.     he  was  proving  to  be  her  biggest  challenge,  the  vampire  that  she  couldn't  seem  to  kill  no  matter  how  many  times  she  had  come  close.     it  was  starting  to  drive  her  insane  about  why  she  couldn't  just  do  it.     it  wasn't  just  the  fact  that  he  always  put  up  a  good  fight  and  she  would  be  damned  if  she  let  him  ever  get  the  upper  hand  over  her.     but  that  didn't  mean  it  left  her  wondering  what  was  the  reason  he  hadn't  just  killed  her  either,  she  had  given  plenty  of  reasons  to  want  her  dead,  she  had  killed  many  of  his  people  and  she  had  come  close  to  killing  him  too.     the  two  of  them  seemed  to  spend  more  time  talking  nowadays  when  their  paths  crossed,  like  they  were  trying  to     𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱     each  other  more  before  eventually  being  the  one  to  win  the  fight.     as  much  as  she  knew  she  shouldn't  even  entertain  him,  she  had  gotten  to  a  point  where  she  knew  the  more  she  let  him  reveal  about  himself,  the  better  chances  she  ever  had  at  catching  him  off  guard  and  getting  that  kill.

     𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻  𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀  𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗹  𝗮𝘁  𝗵𝗶𝘀  𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻,     shaking  her  head  as  she  remained  standing  in  the  patch  of  sunlight  from  the  setting  sun  that  was  leaking  in  through  the  window.     she  may  be  entertaining  him  by  talking  with  him,  that  didn't  mean  she  trusted  him  at  all,     "     not  really.     i've  grown  up  knowing  exactly  what  you  are  and  there's  nothing  magical  about  it  all,     "     maggie  admits,  knowing  she  was  purposefully  avoiding  the  beautiful  part  of  his  question.     it  was  something  that  made  vampires  stand  out,  their  unearthly  beauty  of  their  immortality  that  was  captivating  in  a  way  that  was  supposed  to  make  humans  breathless.     negan  was  no  exception  to  that  and  she  would  be  damned  if  she  let  him  know  that,     "     most  vampires  i  meet  just  seem  lonely  and  almost  hollow,  a  trapped  soul  that  can't  truly  remember  what  it  is  like  to  be  human,     "     except  she  couldn't  say  that  about  him  at  all.     he  really  was  different  from  all  the  other  vampires  she  had  ever  met  before.

     𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗲  𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄  𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁  𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝘄𝗮𝘀  𝗽𝗹𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴  𝗮  𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀  𝗴𝗮𝗺𝗲,     she  shouldn't  keep  doing  what  she's  doing  with  negan  and  she  knew  what  she  should  do,  but  yet  when  any  opportunity  presents  itself,  the  hunter  finds  herself     𝘂𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲     to  strike  and  end  it  all.     if  negan  was  gone,  she  would  be  able  to  move  on  and  she  may  even  be  able  to  find  a  life  amongst  all  the  darkness  she  found  herself  in.     his  name  had  been  her  daddy's  last  words  and  yet  she  found  herself     𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴     him  when  he  told  her  that  he  didn't  kill  her  family.     not  that  she  wanted  to  make  a  habit  of  believing  vampires  when  they  told  her  things,  she  jsut  knew  that  if  he  had  done  it,  he  would  boast  about  it  proudly.     wiping  out  the  greene  family  would  be  any  vampire's  proudest  achievements  considering  how     𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗼𝘂𝘀     they  had  been  to  a  vampire's  existence.     someone  was  definitley  trying  to  set  negan  up  by  getting  her  attention  on  him,  they  were  caught  up  in  someone's  game  and  she  didn't  let  the  idea  of  someone  else  controlling  her  or  trying  to  get  her  to  do  their  dirty  for  them.     it  just  kept  pushing  the  two  of  them  together,  in  a  way  that  neither  had  expected  or  it  seemed  like  no  matter  how  hard  she  tried  to  stay  away,  he  was  always  right  there.

     𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄  𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻'𝘁  𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄  𝗵𝗶𝗺  𝘁𝗼  𝗴𝗲𝘁  𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲,     that  she  should  always  keep  a  distance  between  them,  but  it  seemed  like  no  matter  what  she  did,  the  two  of  them  seemed  to  not  understand  what  personal  space  was  around  each  other.     it  seemed  that  no  matter  what  she  did,  he  always  seemed  to  determined  to  push  her  buttons  and  keep  pushing  them  over  that  line  that  they  were  getting  ever  so  close  to  crossing.     the  most  surprising  thing  was  how     𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝗲     these  moments  between  them  could  be,  maggie  wasn't  expecting  that  and  it  caught  her  off  guard  more  than  anything  else.     that  was  the  thing  that  she  was  trying  not  to  let  happen  too  much,  to  not  ler  guard  down  and  let  him  in.     but  these  moments,  the  soft  way  he  would  look  at  her,  the  expression  on  his  face  completely  unreadable  and  she  had  no  idea  what  he  was  thinking  majority  of  the  time.     maggie  could  figure  most  people  out,  but  he  was  someone  that  she  just  couldn't  figure  out  and  that  made  her  feel  both  uneasy  and  an  excitement  that  she  hadn't  felt  in  years.

     𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗲  𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱  𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁  𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗱  𝗮  𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲  𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻  𝗵𝗶𝘀  𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱  𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲𝗱  𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲,     a  reflex  considering  their  complicated  past  and  she  wished  she  hadn't  reacted  like  that,  feeling  exposed  in  a  way  that  she  couldn't  explain.     she  didn't  know  what  to  expect  from  him,  her  eyes  searching  his  face  for  any  sign  of  what  he  might  do  and  she  felt  like  she  was  holding  her  breath  as  he  gently  brushed  some  dark  strands  of  her  hair  off  of  her  face  and  behind  her  ear.     eyes  close  for  a  moment,  letting  out  a  breath  as  she  tried  to  get  herself  to  relax,  to  not  think  about  the  cool  touch  of  his  skin  against  hers  and  she  doesn't  know  what  to  expect  next.     eyes  open  again  as  she  looks  up  at  him,  almost  having  to     𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲     herself  to  remember  exactly  what  he  was,  not  human,  a  monster  who  kills  to  survive  and  has  done  so  for  centuries,     "     why  do  you  keep  coming  back?     what  are  you  doing  here?     what  do  you  want?     "

     𝗮  𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁  𝗼𝗳  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄  𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁  𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀  𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱𝗻'𝘁  𝗯𝗲  𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴,     that  she  shouldn't  be  allowing  him  to  get  closer  to  her  and  she  should  be  the  one  to  consistently  say  no  to  create  a  distance  between  them.     yet  she  couldn't  do  it.     she  couldn't  stay  away  from  him  and  she  couldn't  keep  denying  what  she  was  feeling  for  him.     what  was  worse  is  that  she  knew  that  she  wasn't  alone  in  this  either  because  he  wouldn't  just  save  anyone,  but  he  had     𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱     her  and  it  was  the  closest  she  had  ever  come  to  seeing  him  afraid.     it  had  been  eye  opening,  it  was  why  she  had  been  so  quiet  on  the  drive  back  to  her  motel,  her  mind  was  racing  because  she  knew  what  this  meant  and  that  was  probably  the  scariest  thing  for  her  to  actually  come  to  terms  with.     that  maggie  greene,  one  of  the  most  prolific  hunters  in  the  country,  was  falling     𝗶𝗻  𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗲     with  a  vampire,  but  not  just  any  vampire,  she  was  falling  for  negan  in  a  way  that  both  terrified  her  and  made  her  feel  so  alive.

     𝘁𝗵𝗲  𝘄𝗮𝘆  𝗵𝗲  𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗺𝗮𝗱𝗲  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁  𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲,     it  was  hungry  and  passionate,  she  knew  if  she  hadn't  pulled  away  from  him  to  catch  her  breath  that  she  would've  ended  up  in  his  lap.     maggie  knew  she  shouldn't  let  this  keep  happening,  but  she  couldn't  help  it,  she  couldn't  just  walk  away  from  him  after  everything  that  had  happened.     he  was  right,  they  were  connected  in  a  way  that  she  couldn't  quite  wrap  her  head  around  and  she  couldn't  keep  fighting  against  it.     even  now  as  she  looked  at  him,  the  two  of  them  covered  in  the  blood  of  the  ancient  vampires,  she  couldn't  stop  herself  from  smiling  back  at  him.     she  could     𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗲     everything  else,  she  could  just  let  herself  be  in  the  moment  and  feel  all  of  this  for  one  night.     maggie  watches  as  he  moves  round  the  truck,  opening  the  door  for  her  and  she smirked  at  him,  shaking  her  head,     "     don't  finish  that  sentence  'cause  i'm  gonna  pretend  you  didn't  say  it  as  that  will  never  happen,     "     of  course  a  vampire  like  him  would  have  a  literal  bloodbath.     it  was  strange  that  the  idea  should  make  her  skin  crawl,  but  instead  she's  teasing  him  and  smiling  at  him  like  he  had  said  something  completely  different.

     𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴  𝗵𝗶𝘀  𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱  𝗮𝘀  𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀  𝗼𝘂𝘁  𝗼𝗳  𝘁𝗵𝗲  𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝗸,     shutting  the  door  behind  her  and  leading  him  towards  the  room  that  she  was  staying  in  quickly,  making  sure  that  no  one  spotted  the  two  of  them.     closing  the  door  behind  them  and  locking  it  quickly,  almost  like  she  was  trying  to  keep  the  rest  of  the  world  out,  it  could  just  be  the  two  of  them  and     𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴     else  mattered.     running  a  hand  through  her  messy  dark  hair,  she  always  felt  like  he  looked  so  out  of  place  in  all  the  cheap,  rundown  motels  she  found  herself  staying  in,  but  right  now,  she  was  just  glad  he  was  right  here.     pulling  off  her  jacket,  tossing  it  over  a  chair  as  she  moved  into  the  bathroom  to  get  the  shower  running,  wanting  to  get  all  this  blood  off  of  her  and  him.     but  something  felt  different,  maybe  it  was  her     𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻     or  maybe  it  was  just  more  she  was  jsut  hyper  aware  of  him  and  where  he  was  at.     once  satisifed  with  the  water  temperature,  she  moved  to  him  again,  feeling  a  little  unsure  of  herself,  but  she  also  knew  exactly  what  she  wanted.

     "     𝗴𝗲𝘁  𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱  𝗮𝗻𝗱  𝗴𝗲𝘁  𝗶𝗻  𝘁𝗵𝗲  𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿,  𝗶'𝗹𝗹  𝗯𝗲  𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁  𝗶𝗻,     "     maggie  told  him  softly  with  a  smile,  moving  away  from  the  bathroom  to  allow  him  space  for  a  moment.     she  moved  into  the  room,  going  over  to  the  window  and  closing  the  curtains,  turning  the  speaker  on  and  putting  some  music  on  to  feel  the  silence  and  try  to  calm  her  racing  mind.     what  was  she  doing?     she  never  should've  let  this  get  this  far.     but  she  couldn't  turn  back  now.     pulling  her  boots  off  and  putting  them  near  the  chair  where  she  had  left  her  jacket,  knowing  she  was  going  to  have  to  try  to  get  all  the  blood  off  her  jacket  and  boots  at  a  later  point.     her  other  clothes  were  definitely  no  good  anymore,  she  would  have  to  get  rid  of  them  another  time,  she  pulled  off  the  blood  stained  clothes,  tossing  them  into  a  bag  so  they  couldn't  ruin  anything  else.     she  caught  a  glimpse  of  her  reflection,  she  was  still  covered  in  some  blood  that  had  seeped  through  her  clothes  and  staining  her  skin,  she  had  some     𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗸  𝗯𝗿𝘂𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀     already  forming  from  where  she  had  been grabbed  by  the  vampires  and  her  blessed  silver  cross  still  around  her  neck.     this  could  be  the  choice  that  changed  everything  and  she  knew  that  there  would  be  absolutely  no  turning  back.     it  was  the  biggest  sign  of  trust  she  could  give  him.     taking  off  the  silver  cross,  she  leaves  it  on  the  chest  of  draws  before  moving  into  the  bathroom,  shutting  the  door  behind  her  and  approaching  the  shower,  smiling  up  at  him,     "     make  some  room  for  me?     "

THE FIRE IN HIS EYES HAD EXTINGUISHED, REPLACED BY HER TENDER TOUCH, which felt sweet and nurturing. He cherished those moments when he witnessed this side of her, finding it to be incredibly precious and invigorating. It made him feel oddly alive, as if had been missing out on truly living. Negan leaned into her touch the moment her warm palm touched the coolness of his flesh. He only nods in response and doesn't utter a word as the two of them begin to make their way out of the cave. He thought for a second that more would arrive and gang up on the two of them, but seems like this coven of ANICENT VAMPIRES didn't have too many of them. It's better to leave and not stick around and find out. 

Negan could swiftly carry her in his arms, moving faster than her truck ever could. However, she might have had an attachment to the truck. Some mortals tend to hold some type of connection to certain belongings. Never understood why, but from the looks of it and from the way she took care of It, must have once belonged to her father ---that, and the fainted scent of old man Greene said all that he needed to know.

AS THEY MADE THEIR WAY BACK to her place, a tranquil silence enveloped them, with the gentle glow of the crescent moon overhead adding a touch of magic to the moment. He watches as it follows them, illuminating them as a guide to their destination. SHE IS THE FIRST TO BREAK the silence between them. Negan turns his attention towards her, a sly smirk curling at the corner of his lips, head leaning back against the passenger seat. " You don't gotta thank me, Maggie. " He says casually, shrugging off her gratitude. Shifting in his seat, he twists his body to face her as best as he can in this uncomfortable position. Eager to escape the confines of the vehicle, he adds. " I like havin' you 'round... thought you knew I wasn't 'bout to let anythin' happen to you. Ever. "

She pulls up towards the motel, as soon as she parks, Negan already reaching to push the passenger door open. As he opens his mouth to speak to her again, he notices the subtle rise and fall of her breathing, the unsteady rhythm of her heartbeat. Concern evident on his face, he turns back towards her, about to ask if she is alright. Before he can utter a word, MAGGIE SILENCES HIM by pulling him in for a kiss. Without hesitation, he meets the HUNGER in her sweet, passionate kisses, his hand reaching to grasp the back of her neck, pulling her closer, deepening the kiss. THEIR LIPS MOVE TOGETHER with an undeniable intensity, fitting together like two puzzle pieces made to be perfectly aligned. She pulls away first--- he could last days kissing her, but that's because he lacks the need to breathe, unlike her. Pupils dilated, the hues in his eyes darkening--- tongue licks sharp canines, a growl erupts, he yearns for her, finds her beautifully drenched in ruby.

" Let's get yeh cleaned, baby. " NEGAN RELEASES HIS HOLD on her to hop out of the truck, he then shuts the passenger door to make his way around the truck to open Maggie's door. He offers her one of his famous signature smiles, lending her a hand like a true gentleman. " C'mon huntress, I wanna see that ass of yours naked and I like the idea of gettin' t' shower with your sexy self. Though red ain't a bad look on yeh, don't know if you ever wanna come by my place... I got a huge ass bath full of blood- " He doesn't need to go into many details about his coven, but cuts it short as he takes her hand to have her step out of the truck.

     𝘁𝗵𝗲  𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘀  𝘄𝗮𝘀  𝗵𝗼𝘁  𝗮𝗻𝗱  𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗿𝘆,     the  kind  of  kiss  that  took  her  breath  away  and  made  her  heart  race.     there  was  no  holding  back  anymore,  this  was  a  release  of  tension  that  had  been  there  since  the  two  of  them  had  met.     it  was  intense  and  passionate,  the  kind  of  thing  that  she  had  never  experienced  but  had  been  craving  for  so  long.     the  two  of  them  had  been  playing  this  game  back  and  forth  for  a  while,  each  time  getting  closer  and  closer  to  this  moment  and  she  knew  that  this  was  a  place  of  no  return.     there  was  no  going  back,  there  was  no  way  she  could  act  like  this  didn't  happen  and  at  this  moment,  she  had  absolutely  no  regrets.     maggie  couldn't  stop  the  moan  that  escaped  when  he  pulled  on  her  hair,  leaving  her  almost  completely  at  his  mercy  and  yet  she  had  no     𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿     that  he  would  do  anything  to  hurt  her.

     𝗮  𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹  𝗴𝗮𝘀𝗽  𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗽��𝗱  𝗮𝘀  𝗵𝗲  𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗱  𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸,     exposing  her  neck  to  him  and  for  a  brief  moment,  she  thought  that  he  might  just  sink  his  teeth  in.     her  eyes  closed  for  a  moment,  trying  to  steady  her  breathing  as  she  waited  to  see  what  he  would  do,  her  hands  gripping  at  his  arms  as  if  she  even  thought  she  could  push  him  off  if  he     𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗱     to  do  it.     instead  she's  just  left  waiting,  her  heart  racing  in  her  chest,  beating  hard  as  she  waits  for  whatever  he  chooses  to  do  next.     no  one  had  ever  made  feel  like  this  before,  she  rarely  let  herself  give  up  control  like  this,  but  right  now,  she  would  literally  do  anything  with  him.     the  gentle  brush  of  his  hand  over  her  throat  left  her  almost  shaking  under  his  touch,  her  breathing  shaking  a  little  at  the  coolness  of  his  skin  against  hers.     teeth  catch  on  her  bottom  lip  as  negan  snarls  at  her  cross  necklace,  her  only     𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻     from  him,  she  shouldn't  have  found  that  noise  attractive.     maggie  sighs  softly  at  the  feel  of  his  mouth  against  her  skin,  hands  tightening  their  grip  at  the  feeling  of  his  teeth  dragging  against  her  skin.     it  was  all  so  new  and  intense,  a  different  kind  of  feeling  than  she  had  ever  had  from  anyone  before.

     𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗲𝘆𝗲𝘀  𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻  𝗮𝘀  𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹𝘀  𝗵𝗶𝘀  𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱  𝗼𝗻  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁,     green  eyes  dark  with  a  desire  that  she  hadn't  felt  in  so  long  and  yet  she  didn't  know  why  she  was  stood  almost  motionless,  like  she  didn't  know  what  she  was  doing.     that  had  never  been  her,  she  had  always  been  the  kind  of  woman  who  knew  what  she  wanted  and  wasn't  scared  to  get  it.     maybe  it  was  knowing  that  she  shouldn't  be  doing  this,  that  she  shouldn't  be  letting  him  kiss  or  touch  her.     his  words  just  made  her  groan  softly,     "     then  what  are  you  waiting  for?     unless  you're  all  talk  and  no  action,     "     maggie  teased,  almost  as  if  his  words  snapped  her  out  of  the  trancelike  state  she  had  been  in,  but  instead  of  making  her  push  him  away,  her  hands  move  to  start  pulling  at  his  clothes,  pushing  his  jacket  off  his  shoulders,  wanting  to  feel  more  skin  to  skin  contact.

     𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗲  𝗺𝗼𝗮𝗻𝘀  𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼  𝘁𝗵𝗲  𝗸𝗶𝘀𝘀,     feeling  his  hands  on  the  hem  of  her  shirt  but  she  was  more  focused  on  trying  to  get  him  to  remove  his  clothes  as  she  leans  into  him,  obsessed  with  the  hungry  kisses  and  desperate  for  more.     when  he  tilts  her  chin  up,  green  eyes  search  his  face,  trying  to  figure  out  what  he  was  thinking  as  he  looked  at  her.     lips  part  as  he  speaks,  a  part  of  knowing  she  should  be     𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴     back  against  him.     tell  him  that  she  will  never  be  his,  no  matter  what  he  said.     that  if  he  dared  to  kill  anyone,  she  would  be  right  there  to  stop  it.     before  she  could  say  anything,  he's  ripped  her  shirt,  causing  her  to  gasp  and  look  down  for  a  moment,     "     jesus  christ,     "     she  mutters  before  she  groans  at  the  feeling  of  his  hands  on  her,  moaning  at  the  kiss  as  she  leans  into  every  touch  and  every  move  he  made.     she  was  hungry  for  every  kiss,  desperate  to  feel  more  of  his  touch  and  as  much  as  she  knew  that  she  shouldn't  do  this,  she  rarely  ever  did  anything  she  wanted  and  right  now,  all  she  wanted  was  him.

     𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴  𝗵𝗶𝗺  𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸  𝗴𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆,     not  completely  away  just  creating  enough  space  for  her  to  pull  off  the  ripped  remains  of  her  shirt,  dropping  it  to  the  ground  as  she  walked  him  back  towards  the  bed,  a  smirk  pulling  at  his  lips  as  she  pushed  him  to  towards  the  edge  of  the  bed,     "     you  always  talk  far  too  much,     "     she  teased,  pulling  at  his  shirt,  ripping  the  buttons,  green  eyes  looking  up  at  him  with  a  hungry  look.     hands  move  up  over  his  chest,  her  skin  feeling  burning  hot  against  the  coolness  of  his  and  she  just  needed  to  feel  more  and  more.     pushing  him  back  with  a  small  smile,  moving  to  straddle  his  lap,  hands  moving  to  cup  his  face,     "     why  don't  you  stop  talking  and  actually  do  what  you're  saying?     "     before  he  could  say  anything  else,  she  kisses  him  again,  hungry  and  passionate,  hands  moving  up  into  his  hair  as  she  groans  into  the  kiss,  her  hips  moving  against  his.

His spare hand hovers above her exposed neck, barely brushing her as he carefully navigates his hand down her neck, his nails scraping gently over her lovely flesh. He pauses just above the cross she wore around her neck, and snarls at the presence of it. That holy shit of a necklace won't prevent him from claiming what is rightfully his. It has contained him many times before, but, this time it will fail to do its job for he will not back down. Not even GOD HIMSELF will stop the CREATURE OF THE NIGHT. His hand resumes its journey down past her necklace, while he drags his lips across her jawline, teeth scraping at the skin, though he is delicate & keeps himself in control not to bite down, at least not yet... that is.

Negan's tongue darts out, leaving a wet hot trail along the length of her neck. While his tongue and lips worked on violating her neck, his hand now pressed firmly above her heart, finding it THRILLING as the feeling of the organ throbbed madly underneath his palm. " ---- Fuck, Maggie. Imma make you feel good, darlin'. I'm goin' to fuck you until you can no longer walk straight. " The vampire hums deeply, content with the way her body responded to his touch. His hand wanders towards her right breast, exploring the way they felt beneath the coolness of his touch, how perfectly they fit in his palms, squeezing lightly.

Negan breathes out a shaky breath. He wants to take his precious time with her but FUCK---- she's so fucking immaculate, and so fucking captivating. His pupil dilating, the hand craning her neck back by the hold of her hair loosens, and immediately tugs her back In by cradling the back of her head, his lips parting against hers, their teeth clashing desperately together, their tongues wrestling for dominance and his hand wandering over her clothed body, letting out a frustrating growl as Negan tugs at the hem of her shirt signaling her to either take them off, or he'll rip her clothing off and leave her in nothing if he has too.

Pulling away enough to lock eyes with her, his hands coming up to cup her face, tilting her chin up towards her, their lips inches apart. Every emotion known flickered through his face as his darkened eyes danced rapidly across her features.

     𝘁𝗵𝗲  𝘁𝘄𝗼  𝗼𝗳  𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺  𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲  𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗸𝗲𝗱  𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲  𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻  𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱  𝘁𝗼  𝗮𝗱𝗺𝗶𝘁,     they  had  found  themselves  on  the  same  dark  path  and  she  didn't  know  if  it  was  even  possible  for  her  to  sever  that  link.     it  had  started  from  that  night,  returning  home  to  find  her  family  slaughtered,  only  her  daddy  alive  enough  to  give  her  a  single  name     -     negan.     she  had  known  that  going  after  one  of  the  deadliest  vampires,  with  a  large  coven  that  they  even  had   a  name,  the  saviors,  was  likely  to  be  a  suicide  mission.     but  in  that  moment  she  didn't  care.     her  whole  family  was     𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗲     and  she  would  fight  to  her  dying  breath  to  make  sure  the  vampire  responsible  for  that  died  right  alongside  her.     except  it  hadn't  been  as  straight  forward  as  that.     everytime  the  two  of  them  ended  up  in  a  fight,  it  was  interesting  and  different,  neither  one  of  them  making  that  killing  blow,  even  though  she  easily  had  wiped  out  some  of  his  people.     except  one  thing  had  becoming  increasingly  obvious  to  her,  despite  the  fact  that  his  name  was  given  to  her  as  her  dad's  last  words,  he  wasn't  the  vampire  responisble  for  the  death  of  her  family.

     𝗺𝗮𝘆𝗯𝗲  𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁  𝘄𝗮𝘀  𝘄𝗵𝘆  𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝗵𝗮𝗱  𝗹𝗲𝘁  𝗵𝗶𝗺  𝗴𝗲𝘁  𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲,     she  never  would've  let  him  into  her  bed  or  her  heart  if  she  truly  believed  that  he  was  the  monster  responible  for  the  slaughter  of  her  entire  family.     she  would  keep  fighting  him,  she  would  make  sure  that  he  didn't  hurt  anyone  else  and  yet  she  couldn't  bring  herself  to     𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹     him,  despite  knowing  that  she  probably  should.     the  two  fo  them  were  forever  locked  into  this  fight,  yet  he  had  managed  to  find  a  way  into  her  heart,  making  her  breathless  in  all  sorts  of  ways  and  she  couldn't  just  walk  away  now.     even  though  she  knew  she  should.     maggie  knew  that  she  shouldn't  have  let  this  vampire  get  anywhere  near  her,  but  she  couldn't  help  it  and  she  almost  found  herself  looking  forward  to  when  he  caught  up  to  her.     she  knew  she  should  be  taking  more  measures  to  keep  him  away  from  her,  staying  in  places  that  he  could  not  get  into,  not  allowing  him  to  even  get  close  to  her  and  yet  she  didn't.

     𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗱  𝘁𝗼  𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲  𝗶𝗻  𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀  𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲  𝗳𝗮𝘁𝗲  𝗮𝗻𝗱  𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀,     she  refused  to  believe  they  were  always  destined  to  meet  each  other,  she  refused  to  believe  they  were  supposed  to  end  together.     it  was  all  her  choice  and  not  some  sort  of  destiny  forced  upon  them.     but  something  about  all  of  this,  it  felt  so  right,  even  though  it  should  feel  incredibly  wrong  because  she  was  a  human  and  he  was  a  vampire.     the  whole  thing  was     𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗯𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻     and  they  knew  that,  yet  it  didn't  seem  to  make  them  stay  away  from  one  another.     whenever  they  were  around  each  other,  it  was  like  all  sense  disappeared  from  her  and  she  couldn't  stop  thinking  about  him  whenever  they  were  apart.     the  way  he  made  her  feel  more  alive  than  anyone  else  ever  had  before,  the  coolness  of  his  skin  against  hers  was  intoxicating,  driving  her  insane  with  the  way  he  touched  her,  leaving  marks  all  over  her  body,  knowing  that  he  held  back  in  so  many  ways  because  he  didn't  want  to  hurt  her.     she  couldn't  help  herself  around  him,  she  wanted  him  more  than  she  ever  dared  to  admit  and  it  was  so  strangely  intense  between  them.

     𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁  𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁  𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻  𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱  𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁  𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆  𝗵𝗶𝗱𝗱𝗲𝗻  𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆  𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵  𝗵𝗶𝗺,     she  had  people  still  counting  on  her  and  a  job  that  she  was  incredible  at.     when  a  town  called  with  a  problem  with  ancient  vampires,  she  had  to  go  and  a  part  of  her  knew  that  wherever  she  went,  he  would  follow.     but  she  had  to  stay  focused  on  the  job  at  hand,  dealing  with  vampires  was  what  she  was  good  at  and  she  felt  like  she  was  still  making  a     𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲     like  her  dad  had  always  taught  her  to.     maggie  probably  should've  gone  in  with  more  of  a  plan,  more  backup  and  not  alone,  but  she  had  dealt  with  these  kind  of  vampires  before  and  she  thought  she  had  it  handled.     there  was  more  than  expected,  but  she  knew  that  she  would've  found  a  way  out,  but  negan  showing  up  had  definitely  saved  her  an  injury  that  would've  taken  some  time  to  recover  from.     a  part  of  her  was  almost  grateful,  even  if  she  was  a  little  irritated  that  he  was  following  her,  but  the  fact  that  he  had     𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱     for  her,  it  meant  more  than  she  was  even  willing  to  admit  out  loud.

     𝘀𝗵𝗲  𝗰𝗮𝗻  𝘀𝗲𝗲  𝘁𝗵𝗲  𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗳  𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵  𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿  𝗵𝗶𝘀  𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲  𝗮𝘁  𝘁𝗵𝗲  𝗳𝗲��𝗹  𝗼𝗳  𝗵𝗲𝗿  𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘁,     not  caring  that  he  was  covered  in  blood  from  the  vampires  he  had  killed,  she  just  kept  her  eyes  on  him,  trying  to  figure  out  exactly  what  he  was  thinking  right  now.     she  leans  into  his  touch  as  he  cups  her  face,  comforted  by  the  coolness  of  his  skin  against  hers  and  she  let  out  a  shaky  breath,     "     i'm  okay,  i'm  alive,  i'm  safe     .     .     .     you  saved  me,     "     she  assured  him,  moving  to  wrap  her  arms  around  his  neck,  not  caring  that  they  were  both  bloody  and  messy,  just  needing  to  hold  onto  him  for  a  moment.     maggie  had  stared     𝗱𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵     in  the  face  many  times,  it  had  never  scared  her  before,  but  something  about  this  felt  different.     maybe  it  was  knowing  that  he  was  scared,  that  he  had  been  worried  about  seeing  her  like  this  and  she  never  really  thought  that  he  was  capable  of  feeling  fear.     pulling  back  enough  to  look  at  him,  a  hand  coming  to  cup  his  cheek  for  a  moment,     "     let's  get  out  of  here,  get  you  cleaned  up,     "

     𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴  𝘁𝗼  𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗹  𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳  𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆  𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺  𝗵𝗶𝗺,     she  just  took  one  of  his  hands  in  hers,  pulling  him  away  from  the  vampire  lair,  that  would  no  longer  be  causing  anyone  any  issues  and  towards  her  truck  that  she  had  parked  nearby.     yes,  she  was  well  aware  that  he  could  probably  get  her  to  the  motel  she  was  staying  at  significantly  faster,  but  she  was  not  leaving  her  truck  behind  and  she  felt  like  she  almost  needed  a  chance  to  think.     which  was  always  hard  to  do  whenever  she  was  around  him,  made  even  more  difficult  with  the  fact  that  he  had     𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗱     her  life  and  it  was  taking  a  level  of  self  control  to  not  immediately  jump  him  right  here.     another  level  of  self  control  was  to  not  drive  like  a  speeding  maniac  towards  the  motel,  to  just  stay  calm  and  not  let  her  mind  get  the  better  of.     maggie  couldn't  even  be  mad  that  he  had  followed  her,  that  he  had  been  there  when  things  had  gotten  bad  because  she  didn't  know  what  might  happen  if  he  hadn't  shown  up,  she  wanted  to  believe  she  had  it  handled  and  she  could've  got  herself  out  of  it,     "     i'm  not  mad  at  you  for  following  me,     "     she  admitted,  tongue  flicking  over  her  lips  as  she  glanced  at  him  before  keeping  focused  on  the  road,  flexing  her  hands  around  the  steering  wheel  for  a  moment  as  she  got  closer  to  the  motel.     the  adrenaline  was  starting  to  wear  off,  yet  her  whole  body  still  felt  like  it  was  humming,  it  was  the  closeness  to  him,     "     thank  you     .     .     .     for  showing  up  when  you  did,     "     maggie  said  softly,  pulling  into  the  motel  and  turning  off  the  car,  trying  to  keep  her  breathing  steady  as  she  looked  over  at  him.     but  she  let  her  mind  take  over,  giving  in  to  what  she  wanted  to  do  since  leaving  the  lair.     hands  reaching  out  to  cup  his  face,  pulling  him  closer  as  she  leaned  in  to  kiss  him  hungrily,  groaning  softly  against  his  mouth  before  pulling  back  to  look  at  him,     "     i  want  to  show  you  how  much  it  means  to  me,  okay?     let's  get  inside,  get  cleaned  up,     "

HE IS EVERYWHERE SHE IS, LURKING DEEP IN THE SHADOWS TO WATCH HIS HUNTESS KICK SOME VAMPIRE ASS. He should feel insulted and threatened that she, a mortal is slaying off his own kind, but strangely he doesn't. Memories flood his mind of their first encounter, she loathed him at first sight, he thought nothing more of the human. She was just another hunter to kill at one point, another kill to add to his gloating. But she wasn't just another VAMPIRE HUNTER, she was THE VAMPIRE HUNTER and he had stupidly underestimated her abilities. With a casual snap of his fingers, he had commanded his fellow vampires to kill her, he was bored after all, bored of all these easy kills and didn't feel like wasting his time, she was just some pretty little thing wanting to boast about killing the LORD OF DARKNESS blah blah blah... 

That's what he thought... Till she SINGLE-HANDEDLY took down his minions without missing a single beat. And he ? Watched in awe. The corner of his lip twitch, a subtle smirk appeared upon twin flesh. He pondered whether his heart, if he still had one, would beat rapidly against his ribcage, burst out of his chest, and flop around like a dead fish in excitement ! SHE WAS AN ENIGMA- a force to be reckoned with. FUCK- She needed no introduction whatsoever. He could smell her familiar scent, and as the blood rushed through her veins, he recognized it as the DNA of the Greene family, a long line of vampire hunters who had decimated thousands of his kind. He had heard rumors about their power and how they had taken down numerous vampire leaders without fail.

It felt like only yesterday since the two of them had crossed paths. They had fought relentlessly, trying to DESTROY each other, the battle lasting for hours with neither of them backing down. It was hard to believe that they had come so far from wanting to kill each other to want to be together every night. It's forbidden... yes many tales of vampires luring humans are definitely part of the norm, not hidden. But you see... that's ALL IT WAS... them luring these mortals for their blood, and nothing more. He wasn't luring her in for her blood, he wasn't waiting to take a bite out of her, he had grown quite fond of the huntress. Wonders where she has been all his miserable life. They've shared intimate moments many times before. 

HOW WARM MAGGIE IS against the coolness of his touch, the way she moaned his name, a raspy gasp when he fucked her harder, faster--- raw. Memorizing her features as she orgasmed right underneath him, or on top of him when she wanted some control of her own. The softness of her touch, those emerald green irises that have him hypnotized, and the sweet beating of her heart, it calmed him down and made him almost feel human ? Or more like a normal human would be when in a relationship and with these mortal emotions. It felt perfect when it was just the two of them hidden away from the world before them. HE WOULDN'T WANT IT ANY OTHER WAY.

He told her that he would always be watching her whether she liked it, or not. And this is one of the reasons why he promised her that. THESE VAMPIRES AREN'T LIKE his kind, they hold no beauty or elegance. No FUCKING charm. Demonic creatures from hell itself, teeth were razor-sharp, their eyes as dark as the midnight sky, with claws long and sained the blood of their victims. They were known as the ancient vampires,ones that were older than him, older than Dracula himself. They resided in the woods and sought refuge in the mountains. These monsters feasted on the flesh of climbers and hikers who were foolish enough to wander too close to their territory.

SEEMS LIKE THEY GOT TIRED of waiting for food to come to them, and began venturing out of their home and terrorizing small towns in the area. This is where Maggie comes into play, she hears about it, she goes and handles it--- it's what vampire hunters do. These town folks cry for help and plead to her to kill the monsters and, she does ! Because she's the HERO. His fellow vampires, at least those he can ' trust ' told him of the news, and he knew..... just knew he couldn't let Maggie go there alone, not with those monsters wanting to tear her apart.

Negan didn't know what came over him... SEEING HER LIKE THAT, those fucking ugly ass bastards hovering over here, drooling hungrily waiting to taste her blood. He saw red, and he could no longer control himself, the monster in him destroying the ancient ones, teeth clamping down on its neck and ripping apart its sickly flesh, letting out a monstrous growl as he CHARGED at the one coming up behind Maggie. Even after killing them all, he slams it over, and over again, grabbing it by the throat and SLAMMING his first repeatedly into his face until it's caved in. He didn't stop till he heard her voice breaking through the atmosphere, snapping him out of his bloody rage. Negan breathes out heavily, lifting himself slowly from the ground. He turns to look over his shoulder at the huntress, STILL NOT BACK... but her hand reaches for him, and he finds himself relaxing again. Blinking a couple of times at her, she places his blood-covered hand above her chest, her heart beating underneath his palm, Negan sighs in relief, mumbling a soft fuck as he runs his other hand over his short dark locks.

" Fuck, huntress... " They lock eyes, letting his hand slip from her grip to reach and cup her face in his hands, thumb brushing over her soft cheeks in a circular motion. His DARK EYES flickered across her face, down towards her neck. His hands leave her face to run down the length of her arms to see if he can find something wrong with her, he thankes satan himself that she's okay. " You're okay ? You're okay. Fuck, Maggie. I- I don't know what the fuck happened. I've been pissed before, but this ? Seeing you like that... all of them surrounding you... I just... " Negan didn't know how to express himself properly.

He never felt so WORRIED-- and for a human nonetheless, and one who is a huntress by all fucking means. He just knew that he didn't want to lose her, and even if she had it handled, he didn't care to wait for her exact moment on her so-called ' handling ' --- He did what he had to do. " ... You almost got yourself killed is what It looked like. Those things... they are gruesome. Humans think my kind are bad ? These things are fuckin' fucked up in all types of ways. I wasn't 'bout to let you take them on by yourself, Maggie. Whether you can or can't... I told you before you're mine and I ain't lettin' anythin' happen to you. You can hate the idea, be annoyed with me for intruding but it's because I don't want you dead. I don't know what I felt when I saw you like that... fear, perhaps ? Fear of losing you.... "
