sharing a blunt <3.     to be in love is to be so enraptured with someone that time doesn't matter anymore. if you could live an in-between life with your lover, you would. you want to spend all the time that you have with the person you love. you take your time, and that's okay. you know when you're in love because you're suddenly so comfortable around that special person.

Love to you is SACRIFICE. You are acutely aware of the heartache that comes with love, but it is well worth it to you. You gladly welcome the pain if it means having love for even a moment. You have a very “it’s better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all” vibe to your love. But this sacrifice love also equals devotion. There’s something so POWERFUL about loving someone so much that you’re willing to accept the heartache; that your love together overweighs that. You also want to give when you are in love. Whether that be material items, sentimental things that you make yourself, or just more love back; you love to show someone love by giving and sharing what you have.

she isn’t used to them being so candid with one another. for the longest time their dynamic has been comprised mainly of teasing and sarcasm, so when the deeper, more reflective moments  between them arise they feel almost SURREAL. it would be easy to just brush past this one with another stupid joke or a distraction, as feelings area topic lexa often struggles with. but there’s this fondness she feels for echo...she can’t quite explain it, but it makes her want to be present and listen when the other is in need of support. 

in response, she shifts so echo can rest comfortably against her on the couch, and as requested, lexa wraps her arms around her. they remain like that for several quiet minutes, lexa occasionally running her thumb along echo’s forearm. “ do you want to watch something, or...? “ she’s perfectly content to just sit together in silence if that is what the other desires.
