Sophie was beginning to like this retirement thing. She hadn't had to clean out blood stains in a week, she got to cuddle three old pugs and a fat chihuahua, and she got to see Kelly as much as she wanted without having to drag him into dealing with some sort of demon or spirit.

She managed to wake up early, not as early as Kelly but early for her, and she set herself to work. Cooking wasn't something that she was great at, but she was trying. Besides, she was still waiting to hear back about a few 'normal' jobs she applied too, so she had the time to pick up a new hobby.

"Good morning," she said when she saw him, breaking the distance to pull him closer, lips meeting his, hands reaching out to pull him closer. Yeah, this was way better than waking up in a shitty motel room everyday. "I made pancakes; they're protein, so healthy. Though, I'd totally could do this all morning instead of eating."

"I think if she's on her fourth wedding, she doesn't have a right to judge if you're a drifter or whatever," she's leaning carefully into the mirror, working to get her eyeliner just right. She didn't want to care what anyone at the wedding thought about her, but really, who didn't worry a little bit about making a good impression? She turned to look at Kelly, eyes widening just a bit. "I don't know if I've ever seen you without anything on your face. You look naked."

She was cracking him up. "A baby alive doll," he repeated, holding in most of the manly giggle. "I mean, you are beautiful, but I don't know if you're baby alive adorable."

"Oh, there really are vampires, and we really do need to take care of them because they're not very nice, but it probably won't take us very long with the two of us. That way we can hit up the hot tub, maybe get room service or like, door dash or something..."

"It's been in the works for a little bit. I wanted to find a hunt that would be quick and easy, something we wouldn't have to like, almost die on. I know you, so I knew it was the perfect time. Now get packed."
