“I swear to God, no one better be singing Father Figure to the old man... Again.” Connor was talking to himself, a little annoyed that someone had pulled that on him even though he had walked right into it by dressing up as George Michael. He ran a hand through his temporarily dyed hair but was too focused on something else to notice he was too close to someone until he bumped into them. “Fuck” he cursed and quickly grabbed their shoulders, “you good?” When he noticed it was Tina, he grimaced, “Are you okay? I wasn’t really paying attention to where I was going. Clearly.”

Seeing all of the costumes was the best part of night for Quinn. She had loved picking out her own and criticizing everyone else’s. It was hard to miss Deadpool in the crowd. Quinn recognized him, despite the fact that she had seen maybe two comic book movies in her entire life, neither of which was actually Deadpool.

"Surely they don't make you keep the door at an event like this?" Quinn asked once she approached Ryan, mostly teasing since he was in costume. "Are you here for work or for fun?" She paused to consider her own question. While it was a party and she was enjoying herself, it was still an Influence event. She made a mental note to start counting her drinks. "For me it's a little bit of both.”

A couple of days ago the Price Twins ( @sugarprice and @damianprice ) hosted a costume party with @influencershq for PRIDE.  The theme?  You’re favorite real or fictional icon of the LGBTQ+ community.  Let me know what you think of my look.  #PRIDE   #INFLUENCEHQ   #BICONPARTY

There wasn’t really much thought needed when it came to which icon Mia wanted to channel for the party.  While she would have preferred someone real, the idea of taking on Annalise Keating from How to Get Away with Murder was too good to pass up.  And of course there was the irony that the show also had a character, a woman of color named Michaela as well.  Part of Annalise’s look, at least in Mia’s opinion, was the power suit.  However, given the LA heat, and a crowded ballroom Mia didn’t want to go with something with a jacket, and picked a sleeveless jumpsuit with side cutouts  in black but with a feminine touch of ruffles and a pattern for added texture.

Connor knew he was far from being the most extravagant at the party, but he was still enjoying himself. Everyone had gone above and beyond and to him it was always great to see everyone having fun together. That was why he loved the parties and events thrown by the company or by his peers - everyone got to hang out and have fun together. A certain merc with a mouth caught his attention and he quickly made his way over to him, chuckling along the way. “A shame they’re not playing X Gon’ Give It To Ya, isn’t it?” His smile grew and he nodded in appreciation, “great costume.”

Quinn assumed that the bartender hadn’t heard her correctly when he handed her two glasses instead of one. She took both and stared at her hands for a second before looking around, deciding to share the wealth. No reason to let a good drink go to waste. She noticed that Regan was standing nearby, and made her way over.

"Free drink, if you want it. Vodka soda. It’s a long story,” Quinn began, holding one glass out towards the other girl. She glanced around the room. "Where’s your other half? I have to be honest, I'm a little upset the two of you didn't dress up like Madonna and Britney Spears. Major missed opportunity."

Quinn was having a wonderful time at the party, up until her phone died. This party was every she loved about being an influencer: flashy, heavily populated, and full of great photo ops. She was dressed as David Bowie, which Quinn thought was an appropriate and totally obvious choice. She was dancing around the room, allowing herself to act much sillier than normal under the guise of alcohol and being in character. She would've considered the entire night a major success, but then her phone died. And that effectively killed her buzz. She was completely capable of enjoying the party without it, but she spotted a familiar face and thought she might have another option.

"You don't happen to have a phone charger on you, do you?" she asked over the music. "I guess I left mine in my other.. bodysuit." Quinn had her wallet in her bra, and seeing as it was an Influence event, her phone stayed glued to her hand the entire time. The outfit she picked didn't have room for anything else. "I'll buy your next drink if you let me use yours."

The leather jacket had him feeling a little hot by now, but Connor was nothing if not committed to the cause even if he knew he didn’t necessarily look his best by this point. After noticing someone wearing another iconic, no bullshit music artist, Connor made his way over to them and smirked. “Dude, you look great” he scratched the back of his head, “I thought about dressing as Freddie, but I was pretty sure I couldn’t pull it off like you do ‘cause you’re killing it right now, man.”
