Why I HATE the MTA

Have you ever been on a subway car and had a sweaty, heavy man's armpit in your face?  Have you ever been accosted by a 320-pound mutt of a man with a ponytail who threatened to "smash your face in"?  Have you been in said situation and had a subway car FULL of people refuse to get up from their seats to help you?  Have you ever been sexually assaulted on a subway car that's so crowded you can't move a half inch to get away from said assaulter?  Have you waited for longer than 15 minutes for a train to come and let SIX of them pass you by before you even found a person-sized space to squeeze into?  Have you waited on a crowded subway stop only to see at least 3 or 4 trains go by on the opposite track, where literally NO ONE is waiting for the train?  Is this a regular occurrence, especially at rush hour?  Have you walked onto a train that you thought was empty only to discover that the reason it was empty was because a homeless man was lying in his own piss and stinking up the ENTIRE train?  Have you ever paid thousands of dollars to a company that was doing less than mediocre work and then had to pay MORE when they decided to raise their fares?  Have you ever been on the train when the next stop is yours, but only AFTER the doors close, the conductor decides to tell you he's skipping the next THREE stops?

Yes.  I have.  To all of the above.  Tell me - why am I still paying for this service?  The absolute worst metro system IN THE WORLD lives right here in New York City.  Thank you for some really fantastic experiences, MTA.  Get your act together.  Maybe you should hire some SMART people for once who are actually business-savvy and won't need BILLIONS of dollars to roll out a non-working transportation program.  MTA: your days are numbered.  As soon as this month's card finishes, you've finally lost another customer.  No way in hell is this girl going to pay you EVEN MORE than what you're already asking for - start acting like a real business that provides a good service for its customers and MAYBE I'll CONSIDER coming back to you.
