|| 雪 || :: from time to time, the DISTANT MEMORY of the life she had prior to being thrown into the future and in a world she didn’t feel like she belong came surfacing when the ninetails allowed her thoughts to wander. and perhaps, she had been too absorbed in the old experience --- how she would be running off in the FOREST, surrounded by different kinds of animals or exploring new places. the greenery and wilderness still beckoned her even now, but things like that became DISTANT and almost out of her reach.

               so the moment she heard her name, her head turned and VIOLET orbs landed upon the other, softening gently as she heeded his call. soon finding herself within his reach with his forehead rested to her own, her eyes mellowed down.

               “ i’m okay ... just reminiscing about old things ... is all. there’s nothing to worry about. ” a content sigh escaped her lips as she nuzzled closer to him, leaning towards him and lending her ears to the sound of his HEARTBEAT. despite still not feeling like she belonged here, at least, his presence made it all the more better and that’s all that matters.

how long has it been, a year? two years? honou must have lost count of the days that have passed when he left his village to train elsewhere. on his journey back to Konoha, he stops in the middle of the dirt road, only to breathe in the scent of early spring. it fills his lungs with a particular warmth of nostalgia, and he can’t help but tear slightly of how much he already missed home. his mother. his friends.

honou snaps back, sensing a strange but familiar aura somewhere. training with his father has sharpened his senses, and while he does want to enjoy the ambiance of going home, as a shinobi, he cannot allow himself to become unguarded.

so when he senses the figure move, he throws his kunai at it, not realizing who he might almost hit.

The child, all bloodied from his shoulders, down to his hands, brought himself over to the immortal. He was tired, stressed and obviously losing a little too much... yet, he still happened to be happy.

“Kid, what the fuck?” Oopsies! Mokou couldn’t help but curse seeing the kid in such a horrid state. “What happened t’ ya? Actually, never mind, I’m takin’ ya to Eientei! Then ya can explain yerself!” Mokou’s already scooping up Arashi.
