Being an adventurous person you always tried to do something new everyday. Wether it was exploring another country or your own, you never stayed in one place for long. And this time you found yourself on the other side of the world- the Amazon rainforest. It was still night when you first began your little adventure, but as the hours passed the sun started to set and you could feel the heat start to get to you.
Pulling out your mosquito spray, you showered yourself in it, before stretching your arms above your head and letting out a loud yawn. To say you were tired would be an understatement. But you didn't want to go back yet, too infatuated with the way the raising sun was casting light onto the tall trees. And now that it was getting warmer too, you could hear the silent cries of different animals making their ways through the tall bushes and trees and you didn't want to waste this opportunity to study them.
Scanning the area, you made your way through a couple of bushes, looking for a place to rest your eyes a little. Perhaps there was a village near by or a convenient set of trees that could grant you safety from the sun and the animals that were likely lurking nearby. Though the farther you went the more you doubted you'd find such a place. For as every tree started looking the same it became more and more clear to you that you were lost.
Still walking ahead, you finally spotted something else than a tree- a clearing. No bushes or trees, only tall grass in what seemed to be a perfect circle. It was strange, you thought. Whatever it was it was surely man-made. It was impossible for such a thing to just occur naturally. And as you walked closer to inspect the circle, your face collided with something hard, proving your theory.
"What the..." you jumped back, looking for what you just walked into. But in front of you was still nothing. Only the clearing. Feeling like an idiot, you slowly reached out your hand, which made a small sound as it met with something...metal?
Eyes widening, you traced your hand over the invisible wall in front of you. Was the heat messing with your head? Were you hallucinating?
Slowly you walked along the giant object, tracing your hand over it's surface. That is, until you heard a click. Hissing loudly, the once invisible object uncloacked, revealing something far bigger than you had imagined. A ship.
Right in front of your eyes was an alien ship like the ones right out of the movies. Only that this wasn't a movie. This was the real thing.
Slightly afraid, but curious, you once again laid your hands against the hard surface, stepping back when you heard a number of beeps, before some sort of forcefield dissapeared, leaving open some sort of...room?
No, it was far too small to call it a room. It was a tiny space, barely big enough to fit one person inside. Perhaps a cell? Or a sleeping space? Either way you weren't gonna find out as you turned around to leave.
But before you could turn your back on the mysterious ship, you heard a loud growl echo through the bushes, not so far from you. Panicking, you did the thing that may have just saved your life- you jumped into the cell and watched the forcefield go up again, trapping you.
~ 💖 ~
Your journey in the starship was long, and you'd spend most of it gazing outside the window and trying not to panick as you watched your planet get smaller and smaller the further you went up. And you went up fast.
Here and there you'd hear sounds, from where you didn't know. Sometimes it were footsteps, sometimes scratching, sometimes banging. It was making your anxiety worse, not knowing where these noises came from.
But somehow, even in this life-threatening situation, you couldn't hide the small grin that kept appearing on your face. This was the adventure you had always dreamed of. Exploring a place no one had ever explored before, not visiting a different country and mingling in with the other tourists, but actually discovering new things. A completely original experience.
Sighing, you looked at all the stars that passed your window, your eyes getting heavier at the sight. It was then that you remembered how tired you had been the whole time. But you wouldn't fall asleep in a place like this, right? Yet before your brain could start to think it through, you drifted off, leaning your head against the wall.
Though unbeknownst to you, your Intrusion would not go unnoticed for long.
For a confused Yautia checked their ship's condition, reading one more life sign than was anticipated. Looking for where it came from, they were even more confused to see it came from one of their cells, as they didn't recall ever capturing anyone on their trip.
Curious, yet cautious, they made their way to the cell you were in, typing in the code needed for the door to open. Weapon in hand, they slowly stepped inside, to see not a giant bloodthirsty creature like they had hoped, but a tiny child. No, not a child. What were they called again? Ah, yes- an ooman.
Stepping closer they tilted their head, examining your features. Your eyes were closed and your cheeks were warm. In fact, your whole body temperature was high. Higher than was normal for your species. Perhaps you were sick? Perhaps you were dying and thought they could fix you? Well, if that was your plan, you might have just succeed.
Trying to be as quiet as possible, which they were surprisingly good at for a creature their size, the giant predator made it's way over to you, gently picking you up into their arms, noting how you snuggled into them seeing as their body temperature was warmer than any human's.
Though while they found your helplessness rather adorable, their elders didn't quite seem to agree with having an ooman aboard their ship. Let alone giving it medical assistance.
But once they noted how it was strange a small creature like you managed to intrude without being noticed, the elders seemed just a little more fond of the idea.
Currently, you were laying on a bed, still sleeping peacefully, your fever now gone. Once they got the approval from their superiors the yautja who first found you instantly went to the xenobiologists on their ship, asking whether or not you would make it.
And while the yautja they encountered while carrying you through the halls of the ship were giving them sour looks, the xenobiologists and scientists of the crew seemed more than pleased with having you there. Excited to have a human to study up close, they immediately went to find out what was causing your condition.
Once they had figured out what was troubling you and gave you proper treatment, they ordered for you to be put in a bed and to let you wake up on your own.
This was all 8 hours ago. 8 hours you spend in a dream world, completely unaware that you were surrounded by creatures far more bizarre than any dream you ever had. But now that your body had gained back some of it's strength, you had slowly started regaining consciousness again. You could hear noises. Different one's than the ones you heard in the cell. They didn't sound like the dull thumping from something heavy hitting a wall, or the low hissing that occasionally came from behind. It sounded a lot more familiar. Peeps and the sounds of small objects being laid down on a table, the sliding of doors and quiet feet shuffling around the room. Almost like a hospital.
You thought about getting up. But even the mere thought of opening your eyes seemed tiring. Somehow your whole body just seemed too heavy to move, like you had exhausted all your energy and now you had to recharge. But as you heard two new pair of feet quietly enter the room, and took in the sound of a familiar clicking, the fear and excitement took over your body once more and you started playing with the fabric of your clothes, unsure if you should open your eyes or pretend you were still asleep.
Your captors must've seen this though, as they walked to wherever you were laying and sat down at your side, the bed dipping at one end. And even though your eyes were still closed, you could feel their gazes staring holes into your face. Eventually the silence became too uncomfortable for you and you akwardly opened your eyes, pretending you had just woken up. And what you saw in front of you was... definitely more than you had expected.
The two giant aliens sitting at your bedside flinched, mandibles flared in confusion and surprise as you quickly sat up, staring at them with wide eyes and a grin on your face.
"Holy shit!" You blurted out "A-are you guys actual aliens??" you asked them, leaning forward in excitement, completely ignoring the fact that these creatures could potentially be very dangerous.
Taken aback by your lack of fear, they simply looked at each other as if seeing if they thought the same thing, before looking back at you and nodding slowly.
This was then followed by a minute in which you three simply sat there, you staring at them and admiring their features and them contemplating what to do with you.
Knowing that to humans, Yautja seem quite hideous, one of them then decided to break the silence by asking you "What are your thoughts on our appearance, ooman?"
Though to their surprise, you didn't respond by insulting their facial features, like most humans they'd encountered. In fact, you did quite the opposite. Beaming with happiness and excitement, you started going on and one about their looks, praising them to the heavens.
"I- I don't even know what to say," you stammered, excitedly flailing your arms in front of you "I mean you guys look awesome!! Just look at you! You're gigantic! And you're practically ripped! And- oh my gosh look at those claws!!!" you squealed, taking one of their hands and admiring the sharpness of nails and the strange, yet beautiful colour of their skin
And whilst one of them, the one on the left, was visible taken aback, furrowing their brows and staring at you like you didn't know what you were saying, the one on the right simply puffed out their chest as if you were simply pointing out the obvious.
Truth be told, they were both extremely flattered by your reaction. Being xenobiologists, they both had a Initial fascination with other life forms, including humans. But they would've never thought one of these life forms would ever praise them in such a manner.
"You realize we will not harm you if you find us visibly displeasing, correct?" the left one said, watching your expression as you traced your finger over the thick veins on their hand. But the way blood kept rushing to your head as you studied their appearances made it all the more clear that you meant what you were saying.
"Wha- what do you mean?" you let go of their hand. Now the one on the right responded; "Oomans have in many instances insulted the appearance of our race. But you seem to know better than others of your kind" they said, obviously enjoying the way you looked at them with nothing but pure adoration
"How could anyone think that?? You guys look nothing short of badass! You look like you were build by the gods or something!" you exclaimed, not hesitating for a second to feed into their ego and insisting that anyone who didn't believe they were perfect were simply a bad liar.
The left one, though previously suspicious, was now also convinced that what you said was the truth, and soon puffed their chest out in pride as well, pleased with the compliments you were giving them even if they weren't sure what half of them meant.
And as you kept fawning about the beauty of these two aliens you had barely met, they glared at each other with only one thought on their mind;
This one's mine.
