WIP Wednesday! in which i am finally starting to texture things & also solved my draw call problem (turns out it was literally just the lights lol)
#ignore that one floor; i severely half-assed the uvs (they shall be fixed.. later.....)#i am being so so lazy with textures but i DID get praise for it B) (<- my workflow is very efficient)#turns out adding light strips to everything immediately makes it look more polished AND more sci fi with minimal effort! xD#(& this teacher doesn't care too much abt the Visual Fanciness TM so the repetitive/boring textures aren't an issue)#(as long as the overall scene Feels okay)#wip wednesday#(just barely made it! xD)#my art#have i mentioned. i hate design.#the whole uv unwrapping and setting up materials and fiddling with optimisation part is super fun#but UGH design my beloathed#(<- the reason why almost everything is a glorified cube or cylinder lol. that and 'cant be bothered to make complex assets')
