Also I will definitely use Una Flor as a basis for another Elena fic in the future. So stay tuned for that!!

Elena’s warm brown eyes watched as Y/N chatted with Daisy, laughing along with whatever American jokes the other Inhuman had. In her lap was a sketchbook, in her hand was a pencil, and in the pages of the sketchbook were drawings of friends and family…but mostly you. In her eyes, there was only you. Even if it was killing her inside to watch you laugh and smile with Daisy...Elena would live with it. Even if her heart was yearning to tell you how much she loved you. Even if her heart ached with the want to kiss your pretty lips, and taste them. Even if her heart was beginning to twist itself inside out at the thought of you possibly ending up with Daisy. Elena would find a way to live with it. "Yo-Yo, hey." Elena let out a gasp when a large hand waved in front of her face. She quickly flipped the cover of her notepad, hiding the sketches of you beneath the yellow flap. It was Mack, who was staring at the Columbian woman as though she had grown 3 heads; and yet, there was that little twinkle in his eyes that just screamed trouble. "Drawing Y/N again?" asked the mechanic, pulling up a chair beside the Inhuman. "Yes. And? What of it?" Elena asked, glancing between her friend and the pair on the couch, as she felt her heart slowly distort with the envy she was feeling. She slowly began to open her sketchbook again, deeming it safe to start drawing once more. "Talk to them, Elena. I mean, you don't even know if they like you back." Mack said, popping open the cap of a beer bottle and taking a swig. "Besides, you can't just keep pining for their affection forever." The Columbian answered with a shrug of her shoulders and glanced back down at the rough sketch she had of you. The pencil in her hand hovered over your lips, a pair of lips she so desperately wanted to feel against her own. "I'm sure Y/N doesn't even like girls, and I'm sure they're with Daisy." as much as she loved her Inhuman friend....the jealousy was killing her. A snort was heard from Mack, followed by a laugh, a wheezing sort of laugh. Elena glared at the larger man, watching as he clutched his chest with how hard he was laughing. "Dude, are you fucking serious? Listen, Yo-Yo, Y/N-" "What's so funny, Mack?" both of them glanced up to see none other than Y/N standing in front of them, Daisy not too far behind and hands on her hips. "You sounded like you were dying or something." Mack smirked and began to elbow Elena in the ribs. "Nothing kid, just talking to Yo-Yo about her little cru- hey!" the Columbian woman had kicked Mack's leg lightly in order to keep him quiet, and in the background, Daisy had begun to snicker. "Cru...crush? Elena likes someone?" You gasp out, eyes widening with happiness. Your heart felt heavy, however, but smiled through the pain. So Elena loved someone else, huh? As long as she was happy....it didn't matter. "Who is it? Are they cute? Is it a guy or a girl?" "You shouldn't worry about it, conejito," Elena purred out, a shiver running down your spine as the Columbian woman reached out to pinch your cheek. "It's nothing to worry about." the woman stood up, as though she was getting ready to leave. Daisy and Mack shared a brief glance, before the Inhuman suddenly said, "Hey, Y/N, did you know Elena used to teach art classes and that she's a really good artist?" Elena sent a glare towards Daisy, trying to fry her alive with just her gaze. You only quirked an eyebrow, while Mack smirked. "Really?" you turn to Elena, silently asking her if that was true. "Sí, I am." she answered, yet again closing the covering of her notepad and holding it protectively. "Why don't you model for Elena? Nude." Daisy smirked, snickering as your cheeks flushed, Elena went completely silent, and Mack began to laugh again.
“You know...” everyone suddenly looked towards Elena, who suddenly began to smirk, a sneaky little glint in her eyes. “That doesn’t sound like a bad idea. You modeling for me.”
You could practically see Daisy and Mack smirking, but you had suddenly went silent, your blush becoming brighter, and you suddenly couldn’t breathe. “N-N-N-N-NUDE?!”
Elena began to laugh, shaking her head. “No no, conejito. You don’t have to be...unless you want to.” she began to laugh as your blush became darker. “Either way,” as she strode past you, she patted your shoulder, seemingly looking like she was gathering her courage to do...something or other. “Come to my room, you can be my model.” and with a nonchalant wave of her hand, she left.
You could only stand there, stunned into silence. Daisy and Mack were snickering behind you, and giving a parting glare towards the pair, you hurried after the speedy Inhuman.
“Nailed it!” Daisy cheered, she and Mack sharing a high-five.
By the time you got to Elena’s room, she was nowhere to be seen. Strange, you could have sworn you saw her just not too far ahead of you. Where could she be? Your eyes fell upon a lone sketchpad lying on the middle of Elena’s bed, open to a certain page, inviting you to look. Cautiously, you walked closer, picking up the notepad as though it was made of glass. A gasp left your lips.
It was you, delicately drawn to such perfection that made it look like a masterpiece. Each stroke of a pencil seemed to only enhance the beauty of the picture. You began to flip page after page, noticing a pattern. While there were other pictures of the team and or landscapes and all, most of them included you, or had you as a centerpiece.
Just as you stopped on a somewhat unfinished picture of you, a voice asked, “Do you like it, conejito?”
Yelping, you quickly drop the pad back on to the bed, turning around to see a smirking Elena leaning on the door frame, a smirk upon her lips and a slightly blush upon her cheeks. “Y-Yeah,” You stutter out, your cheeks flushing once more. “They’re beautiful, makes me look like a real model.”
“You pretty much are.” Elena said, slowly walking towards you with a smile upon her lips. “I’m almost jealous of Daisy to tell the truth,” Daisy? Why? You cock your head slightly to the side, wondering what the hell was the Inhuman talking about. “I like you and I wanted to get this off of my chest but Daisy has your heart and-”
“Wait wait wait wait, Elena, you think I’m dating Daisy?” you ask, as Elena nodded. You began to laugh, sitting on the bed in order to brace yourself. “Oh my god, Elena no. I love Daisy but she’s with Simmons. Besides,” you pick up the sketchpad again, staring once more at the unfinished sketch. It was you, smiling, with a flower crown of angelicas around your head. “I...have a thing for artists.”
Elena went silent, smiling before suddenly appearing in your lap, and pressed her lips against yours. They were soft like flower petals, the two of you smiling into the kiss. The Inhuman lightly pushed you down on to the bed, taking the sketchbook out of your hands. “You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that.”
“Me too.” you laugh, pulling Elena back in for another kiss.
“Well it’s about time!” Simmons threw her hands up in the air when Daisy and Mack told her the news. “They have been dancing around one another for far too long and now they’re finally together. Thank God.”
“They just needed a push and a shove, Simmons.” Daisy said, wrapping her arm around the scientist’s waist. “Took them long enough.”
“God you have no idea how long I’ve watched Elena sadly draw pictures of Y/N, it was infuriating.” Mack huffed out. “By the way, Fitzsimmons, you both owe us fifty.”
“That’s cheating you know,” Fitz grumbles out, pulling out a fifty dollar bill from his wallet. “Making them get together instead of letting it happen.” he handed it over to Mack while Jemma pulled one out of her pocket, giving it to Daisy with a kiss on the lips.
“What’s this I hear about Y/N and Elena?” Coulson asked, walking into the room next. “Are they together?”
“Yup. Finally got them to be together.” Daisy answered, waving the fifty dollar bill around in her hand.
“Oh my fucking god, finally.”

Post-graduation travels and sketches
As you may know, I have finished my degree in mid-June. Since then, I have been travelling rather frantically to make up for the past few months of staying in Prague and also to calm down all travel urges before entering the working sector. Here is an overview of my last European trips, using photographs that I have mainly posted on my Instagram as well as sketches posted on my other IG account. Generally I haven’t been posting so frequently there anymore, as I have been focussing more on sketching and capturing a moment rather than taking pictures, so for this reason this post will be a mix of both photographs and sketches. Enjoy!
The final degree exam (which happened on June 14) was quite a stressful and long day (altogether I was there for 6 hours - to defend and then answer 3 questions on literary history and theory), so I needed an immediate escape to relax all the more. The best for this was to visit my fellow academics in the German capital.
Berlin, 16.-19.6.
During this time I have not only reunited with people I met almost a year ago at the New Faces program in Szeged, but also explored the wonderful city with its great cafés and museums and met the local Urban Sketchers group.
A highlight of the trip was our Sunday hang-out at the flea market in Mauerpark. Numerous people recommended it, and though at first I was just thinking it’d be only a ton of useless stuff from the communist era, I soon understood the hype. There were open-air concerts (like that of the band named Other Animals, drawn below), tons of great old objects that you can easily update (mirrors, lamps, tables, chairs, plates etc. that can all do with a new paint while keeping their gorgeous ornamental details) and a karaoke for everyone where people were getting casually drunk and happy. This place was so fascinating also for the diversity of people who attended (hipsters, bohemians, parents, older people with piercings, street artists) and also that there was a whiff of weed everywhere, which went hand in hand with the chaos that is the complete opposite of the stereotype of organisation that what one expects from Germany.
I was super exhausted after the trip, so a lot of alone time was needed before going over to Norway.
Bergen, 21.-28.6.
Having spent 3 months there before, I found myself feeling more relaxed during the week in Bergen by walking familiar streets, catching up with PS4 games and the few people I met during the winter whose Erasmus hasn’t ended yet and hiking. It was only strange realising that the last time I was here, I was working on my degree (thesis and exam readings), so this time around I had a whole different outlook on the city, viewing it more as a tourist than as a student who wants to make use of the vast university library collection and studious environment. This meant more free time, a more laid-back approach to what the city has to offer. Altogether it was a great break and change from the urban life of Prague and Berlin, as nature surrounds the place. Also, the weather was significantly chillier, so bought a sweater in freaking June! The misty days were joyous to the soul, though.
I returned back to Prague for a week of babysitting my niece, which brought a complete change of my schedule as she followed me everywhere like a duckling. I tried to get her into sketching, but not so successfully, as Netflix kids’ shows were strong competition for her attention. At least I got to practice.
Edinburgh, 6.-11.7.
My mother hasn’t been to Scotland yet and as one of my favourite lands, I wanted her to have the best introduction possible. We walked around 10km a day, had a busy itinenary that included galleries, museums, second-hand bookshops (where I finally purchased Ovid’s Metamorphoses), reunions with my friends who live/study in the country and exploring the cafe scene because my mom loves her daily cup of flat white.
We celebrated my quarter-of-a-century birthday on a Hairy Coo tour in the Scottish Highlands, which was again my mom’s first time and she seemed to fall in love with it immediately - though honestly, she has no choice because I love the region so much from a natural and literary perspective! She especially liked feeding the hairy coos with carrots.
So far these adventures have been great - catching up with art, friends and family. I am posting this from Beirut where I am spending some 16 days before the search for internships and jobs. To conclude this travel update, here is a sneak-peak into the Beirut pages of my sketchbook:
