how do you manage LADS as F2P? I'm having a hard time collecting gems 😭 is so difficult compared to games like genshin

Okay so..i know it sounds difficult (IT IS) but it's not impossible.

the grind can be heartbreakingly annoying..i know! Before i used to find grinding in Genshin and HSR difficult but its..so doable and easier compared to Love and Deepspace 😭

Their constant barrage of Banner after Banner is another issue especially when they don't even run for long. FOMO gets to a lot of people who find it hard to spend due to personal reasons, which is just unfair. IMHO, every limited card banner should run for at least 30 Days.

And i think these are issues that should be thrown at the Devs every once in a while. So fill out the survey forms whenever available and list all your grievances to them. LADS isn't exactly F2P friendly.

-> However, with the launch of version 2.0, they're trying new stuff and giving out a bunch of Free 5 star memories as well as materials. So thats..something ig

It's also a fairly new game, one of a kind sorta thing..so i wanna give them the benefit of the doubt. They're still trying to find their way around things and i hope they gradually add better stuff for grinding of materials and gems. (Abyssal Chaos counts as one)

As for playing as F2P, here's how I do it..

If you can spend a little, then i suggest atleast buying the Aurum Pass (i have). It ain't much but it increases stamina cap to 170. And gives 100 gems + 60 stamina daily

only make pulls on a banner when you absolutely want that limited card

save up the red gems & empyrean wishes (blue tickets) for your bias/fav LI & make pulls only for his banners (unless you absolutely want a card of another)

Use your stamina daily. Don't let it stay full. Like expend at least 80 stamina in the morning. Then play again in the evening with a nearly full stamina cap.

Focus on one LI at a time & grind materials for him only. For example, i am a Xavier main so i expend 80 stamina for the yellow/green stellactrums (ascension material | fight Lemonette) and another 60~80 on the EXP bottles (experience material | fight Heartbreaker)

DON'T WASTE MATERIALS ON 3 STAR. You can waste them on 4 star cards but I don't suggest upgrading them more than Level 40 unless absolutely necessary (i.e. you don't have any other card options)

Fight Mr. Beanie once or twice regularly! You also need that gold to upgrade your memories.

And then of course, the achievements, completing a 5 Star memory story, tender moments and secret times also give gems.

Once a week try to grind for Protocores. Even your maxxed out 5 star memories are useless without good protocores. (50 : 100 ratio between crit. rate & crit. damage is ideal) And ofc, upgrade those protocores from time to time.

This all sounds like a lot but takes less than 20 minutes to do daily..And yes, you'll find some full length guides on Reddit & Youtube.

MOVING ON - i spent the whole day maxing his traces, so i wanted to show his build aka my blood, sweat and tears. HERE COMES THE BOY !!!! his crit ratio is 30/184 with just the relics - but thanks to his traces & LC (that provide a crit rate boost based on def & a crit dmg boost respectively), this man's stats in combat went 🆙🆙. here's a comparison for my aven's crit ratio out of battle vs in battle!

(ignore the team setup on the right: that's my default farming team with a free slot for support charas that i borrow from friends 🏃 i run him w/ ruan mei, silver wolf and dr. ratio! rip luocha ur services will be missed)

from what i observe, he does a consistent 50~60k with his ult and an average 25~35k with his FUA. i'd say that's good !!! his shield in itself is already op. regrettably, i wished he could have more SPD, but i'll take what i can get! all that matters is that he's here safe and sound <3

Thinking about Kaveh builds and like bloom builds are pretty easy so I'm not thinking much about that but I am thinking about his spread build and whether I should go with the skyward spine, itto's weapon or the Mondstat 4* from this event (it's just so pretty I'm leveling it up anyway)

I said skyward spine because if his auto attacks count as burst damage that's good and also it makes him go faster and has a fancy effect , itto's weapon fits his aesthetic well enough and also has a shitton of crit dmg (the passive isn't gonna be that strong but it's still there) ,and the new claymore is so pretty and also I'm asking him out on a date with it because he is so pretty holy-

the event weapon is probably very good for him since he seems bloom (including hyper and burgeon) focused, but in spread teams it'd require a good crit balancing. so id personally build him like tighnari, with a crit weapon and then em/dendro/crit

which means itto's weapon is a good idea (what im going with actually weeee. also you can stack some odd def substats to increase the passive since kaveh's an on-field dps. won't be very significant but still), serpent spine for BP buyers is also good, and ig the blackcliff one can be a stat stick anyway

however it seems like kaveh has rather high er% requirements (80), so skyward spine could be a cool option as well! i haven't seen specific stats for his NA when infused with his burst, just the initial hit dmg & the dendro cores bonus, so idk if his autos count as burst but the wording makes me think it won't. however his initial burst hit should! either way you'll need to stack some er% and/or use a battery (raiden seems like the best match for him anyway, especially in spread scenarios)

So this is something like a part two to my post about Camp Jupiter because I can't stop thinking about Percy's feelings about the camp.

The Titan war was started because the gods neglected their kids then expected them to fight their battles. They have kids only to turn around and ignore these kids being hunted down and killed. The gods neglected their kids and accepted their laughably low life expectancy, and those kids grew to resent them for it. They were neglected, they were killed, and in their struggle to survive they were expected to further risk themselves to go on petty errands for the same people that put them in that situation to begin with, and on top of all that, they were expected to be happy, be thankful, for the opportunity to do something for these larger-than-life beings. They were not happy nor thankful for that shitty ass deal.

Then Percy, who was against Luke, not because he was wrong in his beliefs, but because he was wrong in his actions. He betrayed the gods? Okay. He betrayed his friends? Percy? Annabeth? Not okay. Besides, Kronos would not have been a better ruler, in all likelihoods he would have been worse. Percy settled for the god not because they are good, but because he didn't have much of a choice.

And what did he immediately do with his godly wish? Did he ask for himself? Did he want a cushy life with his mom? To bring back a lost friend perhaps? Immortality? No. He asked for the gods to treat their kids better. He acted not for himself, but for the betterment of all. He saw what the old system was doing, so he bettered it. And it is better. Demigods are less alone, relatively safer. Is it perfect? Fuck no. They're still completely fucked. Neglected. Sacrificed. But better.

Now introduce Camp Jupiter. A large camp, an entire army. Safe and protected. There are adults. Living Adults.

And what do the Romans do? They have a child army while the adults lucky enough to live go to college in a city protected by their own kids.

They have what the CHB kids want, protection and life expectancy. And. They. Still. Send. Children. To. Die.

Except this time it's not the gods making this decision(...mostly). It's the adults. The survivors. They KNOW how traumatizing being a child soldier is and they have the ability to change it and they don't.

I think he would be livid. Disappointed. I don't think he would accept it. Percy has never been one to mind his business, he has never been one to accept shit situations. WHY BUILDMART SLAPS ACTUALLY

(This is the result of one too many salty twitter stans)

(Yes there are almost definitely some mistakes here but my point is hopefully clear either way)

With MCC today, people are back on their bullshit about buildmart, you know the ones

'Oh buildmart sucks it should be removed mememememememe'

HERES WHY BUILDMART IS SO GOOD AND WE SHOULD BE NICE TO SCOTT, NOXCREW AND THE TESTERS ACTUALLY

The current games are in 3 different 'categories': PVP, last man standing and teamwork.

PVP is obviously battle box, survival games and sky battle, where the players must always fight to the death (or launch themselves into the void).

Last man standing would be games like Hole in the Wall, TGTTOSAWAF, Ace Race and Rocket Spleef, where there is only one solo winner.

Teamwork would be Buildmart, Meltdown, Grid Runners and Sands of Time, where the goal is ultimately to collect coins and work together with full cooperation.

While Meltdown could count as PVP, its balanced enough that teamwork is more of a priority. Parkour Tag also works as a mix of all three.

Buildmart evens out the playing field, as 3 of the current 12 games are solely pvp related, not counting games like parkour tag, where the player is constantly concentrating on running from a hunter, or tgttosawaf/rocket spleef, where there are always hands beng thrown

It is one of the few games with no pvp at all, no players constantly punching each other, and that can be a welcome break for some participants, especially people who just want to chill, they can just place blocks

Contrary to popular belief, it is not just a building game. Buildmart is focused on teamwork, and comes into the same category as something like Sands of Time, but is solely peaceful.

Yet because it is just a building game, some people really dislike it

I dont understand why! (Well I do, its because some of the participants unfairly criticise Buildmart in comparison to almost every other game, and I dont want to be mean or rude because obviously Buildmart isn't going to be everybody's cup of tea, but come on! It's one game!)

Of all the participants, there are many who come from backgrounds of PVP or Building or Speedrunning or Variety. Some even do all of them!

There's games for people who constantly do PVP fights, who know exactly the correct timing to get the perfect crits and the best angle to fire a bow at

There's games for the hunters, for people who know exactly where to time a 4 block jump, who can perfect their mouse movements to never stop running

Theres games for people who thrive in multifaceted games, where every action is different and a bit of a challenge, but not so much so that its frustrating

And the Builders have Buildmart, which in its consistant updates, is beautiful, has creative yet simple builds, clearly labelled sections for materials and inspires talking and cooperation

But only Buildmart is, for lack of better terms, absolutely shat on.

While yes, some games are moaned at when they come up for personal preference, like Battle Box for a non-PVP team, I've never seen a game hated more than Buildmart (except maybe Parkour Warrior but thats a whole other can of worms, also as it's been removed for quite a while and doesn't seem to be coming back (Apollo dont interact))

Despite the fact that it's a game that evens the playing field a lot for players who just like to chill and make things in minecraft, which I can also assume is many fans favourite thing to do

TL:DR - Buildmart is not as bad as people make it out to be, and it helps make things less stressful in terms of thinking on your feet and constant adrenaline
