Do you use photoshop to edit your pictures? Their so crisp and clean and I just got 4k res on my pc.
If so, can you maaayyybbee give us a brief tutorial on how you enhance these for previews for tumblr. Because they always come out so clean even in the preview images.
hiii!!! omg sorry almost didnt see this! congrats on getting 4K!!! it's truly life changing *tears up*. and thanks for such a high compliment 🥹🥹🥹
i do edit my photos yes, but i don't do it in photoshop, but rather in mobile apps so i can just do it during time i cant do other stuff like on the subway so, yes, i can give a tutorial, but it's going to be general steps and guidelines :) sorry i can't give anything like photoshop specific! and i know you're only asking for editing advice but i'll go over the whole process for anyone else who wants to read this as well, so please bear with me. (and please don't take my advice too seriously, i'm only an amateur hobbyist too)
1. The base photo
So firstly, I think it's important that the base picture itself looks good when you capture it in game. With a good photo straight out of the game you can avoid a lot of further editing down the line.
One common mistake I see a lot is that the field of view will be left unadjusted to the default value, which is good for landscape shots, but for portraits it will have a wonky fisheye effect. For portraits you'd typically want to zoom in a lot so the character doesn't look super thin and distorted. In photo mode this is the "lens" option, I typically just zoom in to the max, and tweak what fits into the frame with the freecam. Here's a pic with good FOV for a zoomed in character shot vs. one with the default FOV (his whole face is skewed, as well as pupper):
Also, the in game environment is important for setting up a good shot. You'd typically want some kind of light vs. dark contrast to make your subject pop out, especially against any background. I like to use Rampage Trainer to tweak the in game time and weather and freeze them for better lighting and atmosphere, and sometimes spawn an extra light source but that's a rare case. For example, okay vs. not very okay lighting that's impossible to salvage even with editing:
I also like to blur the background and foreground in the game, with either the focus tab of photo mode or with depth of field reshade presets, because it's a big hassle to blur those during editing. It's quite subtle most of the time but really helps focus the shot on your character, especially if the background is so messy it can swallow your main subject (trees, I'm looking at you).
The photos in this section aren't edited; my point is that with good lighting, composition etc in game, your base vanilla photo can already look pretty good :D This is RDR2 after all.
2. Cropping
I typically crop my images at 3/4 or 2/3 ratio, depending on what looks better. But I think a general rule of thumb is that you want to crop your image so that the contents look balanced; I don't know how to explain this in concrete terms... Basically the same way centering your subject or cropping it by the rule of thirds serves to balance an image. All these pics are more or less 'balanced' in different ways, even though they're not straight smack centered. It's an eyeing process but I think with time it will be easier to tell how to balance your photo...
3. Editing
So! Editing!
Editing I think is just a lot of fine tuning based on what you have with the base image. Me personally, I used to do a lot of colour and lighting editing, but more recently since figuring out that you can just make your base image look good right out of the game, the editing has become a lot lighter. The game can definitely do the heavy lifting, but still editing is important.
I'll demonstrate with two images (hello my babygorls *kissy noises*):
So these two images obviously need some work. Firstly, I'll tweak the lighting, so that dark and light areas aren't too extreme, and also improve the definition/contrast, not too much, but just enough so that the subject is more defined. For Arthur's image the lighting is too murky so I used RGB curves to sort it out a bit.
Then I will colour grade it a little by tuning the warmth and the tone (not touching filters yet). For Charles, it's at night so I've made the tone a little colder for the blue, and for Arthur a little warmer, as well as some custom light patches just to make his face stand out a little more against the background. Some other mild adjustments.
Then if I think the background is still too attention stealing I'll blur it out a bit more. Again, I try to just blur it enough in game, since manually blurring is faulty and annoying.
Then if I think overall the lighting and colour is fine, I'll go through the filters the app offers to see if I can improve it a little more. Since I focus on portraits (pretty bois how could I not) and not do really cinematic/dramatic scenes I tend to stick to the more natural looking filters that just harmonise the colours a bit more.
And that's pretty much it for the editing.
On a side note, contrast is a good thing, but not limited to contrast in lighting, and not necessarily in lighting either. Contrast can be in the colour of your subject and in the back/foreground, or in the conplexity of your subject and blankness of everything else. I think for especially atmospheric photos you'd actually want less contrast for that softer feeling, and not like super hard silhouettes. So yeah, the editing process depends a lot on the image itself and what kind of emotion I want it to have.
4. Other miscellaneous things that help
Besides using mods to customise lighting and props and character pose etc. to your liking, reshade is definitely also a big help. It has a lot of presets that can help your photo to have better colours or add blur. I don't really have a recommended list since I don't remember how I set up my Reshade, but I think a lot of the most popular or built in ones work really well, just play with it and see what you like.
A mod I sometimes use for colour grading in game is the 'Seasons' mod. I don't like too much green so I often set the season to Autumn for that warmer tone to the grass and trees. The other seasons also have different colour tones so it's good for trying different tones! Without vs. with the mod set to Autumn (ignore the quality on those they are from ages ago):
5. Most importantly! Do what you think suits your visual preferences and taste!
So personally I think this is definitely the most important point! I think while you should look at others' work for inspiration and analyse what they're doing well, you should also definitely always prioritise your own preferences on what you like to see in your own pictures :D I think it's important to just do what you like in the moment instead of worrying about what's necessarily right or wrong, or looks good to others.
For example for me my style changed a lot over the past year and a half, and there was definitely a learning and realisation process along the way but I think my more recent preference isn't necessarily better and how I used to do things wasn't necessarily wrong either, it's just different taste.
Hope this was helpful!! :D
Please ask me if you've got any more questions or would like me to explain anything else <3

Digital Card Games
There are two major card games on mobile right now; Magic: The Gathering Arena, and Hearthstone. Sorry to the other games; I'm sure you're very fun to play.
Hearthstone enjoyed the privilege of ensnaring its customer base from WoW, a move that FFXI tried previously by charging extra for its Tetra Master add-on and subsequently discontinued for lack of interest. And because of that fan-base; enjoyed a rapid growth and boost to sales, as well as outpacing every other card game app in the market by a wide margin.
Because of the digital nature of this card game app; Hearthstone was able to employ mechanics {game features; not the profession} that offline card games could not--Such as stealing cards from your opponent for the duration of the game and shuffling randomly generated cards into your deck.
As well as many transformation and morphing capabilities that were intuitive and much easier for a player to understand than Magic was able to do with physically printed cards.
Hearthstone is the current leader of digital cards. However--because of MTG's rabid customer base; Hasbro is likely deciding to also transition to a mostly online format. This is because it is much cheaper to run, and the profits are much higher for cards you don't have to physically print.
Despite this; MTGAs design doesn't really lend itself to a digital front. And this is also despite the many MANY years MTG:Online, MTGs former digital card app having been available on PC for much, much longer. (Yes, they run at least TWO digital store fronts, and Hearthstone still manages to beat them out.)
This is because of the card's and overall game design being based around physical cards and a tabletop. MTGA has started to diverge in mechanics from the tabletop variant however; likely to try to outcompete hearthstone and try to be more user friendly...
Despite that competition; MTGA card boxes have at least a paragraph on every single card you play. Make games slow and difficult to pay attention too.
Even though hearthstone is feeling the bloat itself; especially if you play with randomly generated cards for your entire deck, they seem to be easy to wrap your head around exactly what a card you can't remember what the exact mechanic for does.
And after a couple hundred cards, it's near impossible to memorize every single detail.
The difficulty with hearthstone is trying to handle complex mechanics with it's much shorter timer. But it's much easier to understand all the cards being played, and quicker to form a strategy. And Despite MTGA's much longer timer, new players can expect to hit the limit much easier with just a couple cards.
This is extraordinarily evident in MTGAs newcomer challenges. Spark Mode, and Color Challenge. As many players start running into make poor decision and just not having enough time to read what's essentially the length of a YA[young adult] novel once a turn.
I'm a very fast reader, and much faster on the uptake than most, AND I'm a seasoned MTG player. And despite that; I cannot keep up. It's no surprise if other players have trouble with that as well.
It's not an intelligent thing. It's an issue with accessibility as well. Players requiring a screen reader have no chance without memorizing the extensive library of cards. And new players? Many won't try to play without having been seasoned on the physical format with other players to have helped them in the beginning.
I'm pointing out the extreme negative that MTGA currently displays, but despite this; I bet a lot of hearthstone players are turned off when encountering the extensive reading you might find yourself while at the bottom of silver rank.
As players just starting out have to face being pounded into the dirt while learning how to play the game at the lowest ranks in both games. And waiting for another player to get a bad draw to win a challenge to unlock features isn't very fun while also reading pages upon pages of varying card interactions.
Again; I'm fairly quick at reading and understanding card interactions, and the beginning mode is *not* an easy thing to jump into. I might be older, but I'm not *that* old.
This isn't even a "good ol days" when card effects were rare and special, weenies were white and green had the stompies. That was easy to get into for a new player; but boring to continue playing.
Hearthstone's limitations are it's previous benefits; tight small interface, easy to understand and non-cluttered. But it can't grow without addressing the limitations in its own growth, and being displayed and easy to understand on screen.
MTGAs limitations are as described above, but every single permanent (in play card) is hard to keep track of (not including trying to keep track of your lands that can't stack)
And despite what it knows as a reading experience, MTGA tries to retain its physical format in the digital world, and hide what your card does, by forcing you to tap and hold everything to read it (making reading and comprehension slower) but opting to display the image over the card effects. Discouraging even trying.
Seasoned players would say; "Well yea, but once you know the meta..." And then when you're hit with the off-meta deck, and you're penalized for reading and misunderstanding the off-meta interactions, you blame the opposing player for making you read more as the reason you lost. Right?
Hence why I chose to talk extensively on Hearthstone's RNMeta. This makes it easy to understand where the flaws and weaknesses are in both apps.
MTGA is going to be much hard to organize, and I'm saying this solely because that's the way it is on the table, I would suggest combining auras with the cards they're attached to, and stacking lands that behave similarly together so that you can see your mana base efficiently. (Yes even when they're tapped, thank you.
"Excuse me, how many land do you have?"
"Don't touch my land you jerk!"

This week's take-aways from the Office Hours Discord session. I'm sure I forgot/missed some. Please help fill in the details if you can. TY.
I don't think he mentioned this today but the default version for MJ is now v4 so you can stop typing --v 4 at the end of prompts if you are doing that. Also q2 in v4 is broken right now. All it does is eat GPU.
Disclaimer: I am not associated with Midjourney, Discord, or this FB group in any official capacity. I do this because many people can't attend the weekly Office Hours via Discord on Wednesdays at noon Pacific and there is no other way to get these updates.
You're welcome.
1. Improvements to upscalers and higher/different ratios to v4 are not performing as well as hoped.
2. Its a balancing act trying to make improvements to v4 while pushing ahead with v5. Especially since v5 solves a lot of those issues in v4 that need improving. So they are shifting towards v5 but still want to improve aesthetics of v4.
3. v5 is progressing nicely and they are still trying to get all the features they want in it rather than rushing to get it out. He is reluctant to mention the features because he doesn't want to disappoint anyone if a feature doesn't make it into v5.
4. They are focusing on certain improvement in v5. More details. Better accuracy and resolution. Better response to prompts.
Read text better (I'm not clear if this referred to prompts or text placed in images).
5. More advanced tools for building longer series of images.
Some tools will require you to be more of an artist.
Important to have a version for people who like to draw. 90% of users won’t get good images (on the drawing MJ interface) but the 10% who like to draw and want to do that for a living will be able to create original work faster and have more fun doing it.
It's important to provide the drawing UI soon so people can see there’s a craft to it. Even though it only serves a small portion of users.
Side note: there was a lot more to this topic but the gist is that he understands now that there are people who like to draw and want to do that for a living. Not everyone who makes images is interested in telling a story. Many of us just like drawing and so giving us an interface that allows us to use our drawing skills to get the results we want is going to go a long ways to reaching out to the artist community.
As someone who likes to draw I found this very encouraging and I can't wait to see what this UI looks like.
6. They are still working on image creation sites that are separate from Discord. Mobile app looks like it will be 10X better than Discord (on mobile).
7. They are looking at increasing the value of the $10.00 tier and creating a free tier where you pay for your sub by helping them with data collection (I think that means ranking images).
8. They might like to expand service to China (the way they have to Japan with NIJI) . He also noted that China is the first country to regulate AI images (they require watermarks).
EDIT: this was a passing comment as part of a broader discussion about what govt regulation might look like in the future and should not be read into too deeply.
9. GPU situation is much better. Things should be good unless the user base grows much faster but for now there is plenty of padding.
10. They are planning some contests as a way to hire new staff. They want to see what people can make. That's all the details I got but it sounded like they will tell us more soon.
11. they are thinking a lot about how to improve filters. Word filtering should improve over the next month
12. He doesn't expect to have a truly stable version until v8 or v10
13. They are still trying to get search working for the MJ website. He’s sorry everyone. It turns out it’s really complicated at this scale.
14. They have no plans to incorporate a chat bot directly into MJ but if they did make one it would be way weirder than what's currently out there.

Joe Mazzello - NSFW Alphabet
a/n: I'm dedicating it to @starfleet-wannabe💓 babes, you make my days better!!! ily!!!(also I promise you that those imagines abt Joe x Reader will see the light once...I promise you, Erin)
I can't insert the "Keep reading" link from the tumblr mobile app, cause I'm really dumb, so if you don't want to read it - just scroll down k thx
this was requested many times and I'm sorry, my dudes....this is really bad....
warnings: obviously smut lmao, typos (sorry I've read it too many times just to check on errors and I can't look at this text right now, and there are obviously still bunch of mistakes, sorry, fellas)
Joe if you ever see this I'm sorry I hope it never happens
A = Aftercare (What they’re like after sex)
Joe is the softest human being ever (well, mostly). It doesn't matter whether the sex was romantic and tender or rough and passionate, the aftercare is always the same: he helps clean you up and then make you both tea, while you lie in bed, talking and just spending time with each other.
B = Body Part (Their favorite body part of their partners)
As it was considered on this website, Joe is an ass man. You can count the times his hands were off your bum; he always keeps his hand on your lower back, and then, if he's in the mood (and he's always in the mood) he starts caressing your butt through your clothes, grabbing and tapping it when he can. It's not like the ass is the only thing he admires - Joe loves all of you, every part of your body and soul. But your ass is just so squishy and soft, and he can't get enough of it.
C = Cum (Anything to do with cum basically)
If the sex is unprotected, he cums on your ass. Period.
D = Dirty Secret
Joe doesn't have dirty secrets. If he wants to try something, he'll tell you about it; there isn't something you two can't discuss.
E = Experience (How experienced are they?)
Joe is very experienced. He knows exactly what to do to make you scream his name in the bedroom.
F = Favourite Position
Doggy (unbelievable, right?). He also loves reverse cowgirl for obvious reasons. But it doesn't mean that you don't change positions while having sex. He loves seeing you on top, riding both of you into orgasm; he enjoys missionary and every other sex position, simply because he gets to try them all with you.
G = Goofy (Are they more serious in the moment, or are they humorous, etc.)
Come on, it's Joe we're talking about here. Sex is sometimes filled with him telling you stupid jokes, and always it turns out to be just like he's having a stand up show, while you lie down naked under him. He may crack up some dad jokes during the most tense moments, like when you're on top of him, and you're gasping and moaning, "I'm cumming", he'd say breathlessly, "Hi, cumming, I'm Joe", and you'll just burst into crazy laugh, even though the joke is stupid and not funny.
H = Hair (How well groomed are they, does the carpet match the drapes, etc.)
He doesn't like to be completely bare down there, so he just keeps it trimmed.
I = Intimacy (How are they during the moment, romantic aspect)
Joe is very romantic (we been knew). He just loves you so much that, even if the sex rough, he still wants and needs you to feel loved and comfortable. The man is so in love with you that he can't stop kissing and touching you, whispering how much he adores you.
J = Jack Off (Masturbation headcanon)
It's a must, if he's away filming. You two like to get yourselves off while talking on the phone, breathing and moaning messily while telling each other the filthiest things. Joe is actually an expert in dirty talk.
K = Kink (One or more of their kinks)
Joe's got hella lots of kinks. He's most preferable ones are:
Daddy kink. Do you really think this man doesn't like to be called daddy? If you do, you're wrong. Seeing you twirling in ecstasy when "daddy" is the only thing you can weakly whimper makes him bust a nut right then and there.
Edging. He's an asshole sometimes, alright? Joe enjoys it when you desperately beg him to fuck you. He loves when you're being restrained all day, and you walk around frustrated and horny. Not to mention that the thought of fucking you hard later turns him on immediately. (You love all of it too, even though you don't admit it sometimes; you're also fond of the idea teasing Joe like this later).
Slight voyeurism, but he likes to watch himself fuck you. He's bought a huge mirror for the bedroom, so that you two could have sex in front of it. He loves to pound into you from behind, holding your hair, slapping your ass and saying the dirtiest shit, like, "Watch yourself being wrecked by my cock" or "Look how pretty you look, look at your pretty tits boucing like this cause I'm fucking you so hard"
Dirty talk (it's considered as a kink, right?). Come on, Joe is a master at this. He'd spill the filth at random places; like you two are doing grocery shopping and he comes to you holding a watermelon, leans in and whispers in your ear, "I wish I could bend you over this shopping cart and fuck you till you can't move". And you just stand there bewildered, while he continues his routine. Or when you're on some fancy event, he'd put his hand on your waist and say to you quietly, "You look so sexy like this with this red lipstick. Can't wait when these pretty lips are wrapped around my cock". And your eyes go wide as you choke on your drink, while everyone looks at you weirdly.
L = Location (Favourite places to do the do)
Um, anywhere? Joe's just turned on by you 24/7 (as well as you are by him), so he doesn't mind having sex with you in restrooms, closets, empty hallways, in his trailer, your childhood bedrooms... Once you were at the party and caught your friends having sex; no wonder that fifteen minutes later you and Joe were doing the same thing in the bathroom, of course, in front of the mirror. Sex in his car is a must too, especially when you're driving - he thinks you look really hot while doing so. One time you were almost caught doing it in the car by the police, and since then you can't stop giggling like two teenagers while remembering about it.
But Joe loves sex in your bedroom. He just feels like this is the most intimate place on the Earth, where you two can be sincere and sensitive.
M = Motivation (What turns them on, gets them going)
Anything. He's got the crazy sex energy, and literally anything can make him go. Once, when you were brushing your teeth, and wearing one of his old tee-shirts and baggy pajama pants, he decided it was a good idea to start teasing you, by leaving wet, mouth-opened kisses on your neck and by fingering you slowly. You evidently couldn't brush you teeth normally at that moment.
N = NO (Something they wouldn’t do, turn-offs)
Joe wouldn't do something that'll harm and hurt both of you.
O = Oral (Preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)
He's a pro in giving. You'll be screaming and grabbing his hair tightly, even though he barely touched you. And as you love giving too, he wouldn't ever be against it.
P = Pace (Are they fast and rough? Slow and sensual? etc.)
You can experience every pace during the time you have sex. He may start roughly, pounding into you harshly, and then go slower, stretching you gently and whispering sweet nothings against your skin.
Q = Quickie (Their opinions on quickies rather than proper sex, how often, etc.)
Joe loves quickies. Once when he was on set and had to leave for shooting in five minutes, he pinned you against the wall of his trailer and fucked the soul outta you. "It's just a preview of what you're getting at night", he winked at you while leaving and you just gasped. This man is something, y'all.
R = Risk (Are they game to experiment, do they take risks, etc.)
You both love taking risks. Joe enjoys having sex when the guests you invited to your party may come at any moment; he once decided to start fingering you while you were at dinner with your family. "Such a good girl, taking me so well", he whispered in your ear when you struggled not to moan loudly in front of your parents. "I'm gonna fuck you so good when we get into the car. I'm gonna reward you for being such a good girl and not cumming here".
S = Stamina (How many rounds can they go for, how long do they last)
If he and you are feeling alright, 2 and more rounds. But if one of you is not okay, and the sex is just full of love and reassurance, there'd be just one round.
T = Toy (Do they own toys? Do they use them? On a partner or themselves?)
You own toys. And Joe's using them on you. Especially when he's being a little shit - means when he's edging you.
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
Once you were having an unplanned and sloppy sex in the secluded bathroom at one after-party of the awards, and he pulled out right when you were about to cum. He initiated the sex and denied you both. That's how much of a "tease" he is.
V = Volume (How loud they are, what sounds they make)
He's loud when he's in the mood. He can moan loudly, and sometimes when you feel incredibly good he comes while screaming your name.
W = Wild Card (Get a random headcanon for the character of your choice)
Joe's got a breeding kink. (It's not really surprising, though, this man radiates dad energy). He gets hard just thinking about you being pregnant with his child. Man wants to have a family with you, and that's why he can barely keep it in his pants when you're around (always).
X = X-Ray (Let’s see what’s going on in those pants, picture or words)
His dick is a perfect size to make you scream. That's it.
Y = Yearning (How high is their sex drive?)
Joe's sex drive is immeasurable. You have no idea how this man can always be horny and ready to fuck.
Z = ZZZ (how quickly they fall asleep afterward)
He falls asleep as soon as you two cuddle; when you start breathing in unison, he nods off pretty quickly, still holding you tightly.

Resident Evil: Director's Cut FAQ
OK, so, I hate answering questions about unlockables and version differences. So I made this. I appreciate that there are people who haven't beaten the game and want to watch someone show them everything, especially when it is a basic gameplay question. I want to answer these questions, I really do, but when people haven't 100%'d the game and are asking me questions (and this is perfectly fine), I can't answer them because it is not humanly possible to make that effort. So, this is my way of helping you. This FAQ is particularly for you guys. If you've been referred here, please don't take this as a sign of "I hate you, go read this"; please take this as a sign of "I hear you, and I want to help you." This is just the easiest way for me to help you get caught up. If you came here from the Twitch Mobile app, I'm sorry to make you tab out of the broadcast to read this, but I guarantee you I'll make it up with cats and cookies. Even more frustrating is that EVERY SINGLE WEBSITE has totally incorrect information about how everything works. I do not have any information on PC version yet, because I have never played it. So, I will not be covering it. ====================================== Table of Contents: ====================================== 1) Original Version 2) Saturn Version 3) Director's Cut Black Label (Original Music) 4) Director's Cut Dual Shock (Bad Music) 5) Why the Japanese version? ====================================== 1) Original Version ====================================== The first release of RE1 on PS1 just has "New Game" and "Load Game" in the main menu. Beat the game with the best ending, you get a key to unlock an otherwise previously unaccessible wardrobe, with a new costume for each character. Beat the game in under 2:30:xx, you get the Rocket Launcher. The US version has auto-aim turned off, enemies do exponentially more damage (probably a factor of 1.5) and take more damage, and is different from Director's Cut Original difficulty. It has the original music. ====================================== 2) Saturn Version ====================================== The Sega Saturn version has some additional unique content over the first release. Like the original release, US version has auto-aim turned off and it has the original music. There is slightly better anti-aliasing on the Saturn version (possibly rendered in a higher resolution), different shaders are used for the character models, and the graphics are rendered as quadrilaterals instead of as polygons in every other version of the game. Battle Mode - A "Battle Mode" exactly like the one in Code Veronica X is available, where you kill all enemies and proceed to the next areas to clear it. This is unlocked by clearing the game. The final boss is a Gold Tyrant with a ton of HP. Costumes - The unlockable costumes that you get for completing the game are unique to the Saturn Version; Jill gets a different S.T.A.R.S. uniform with a blue crop-top and a pendant, Chris gets a blue uniform with a bullet-proof vest. Tickers - All the hunters in the catacombs are replaced with "Tickers", which are alternate Hunters that can poison you. They have the same attacks and are dealt with in the same way. Two Tyrants - Upon certain conditions, a second Tyrant may bust out of the glass when you examine the console to unlock the door upon beating the Tyrant. I have not triggered this myself, although I have tried. So far, the only determining factors I've found by watching YouTube videos are that you play as Chris, you're wearing an alternate costume, and you get an ending where Rebecca doesn't die (because in both videos, Wesker never drops a key upon getting skewered). If anyone has any specific information on how to trigger this event, please tell me, because it didn't work when I tried as Chris :( ====================================== 3) Director's Cut (Black Label, Original Music) ====================================== Resident Evil 2 was 80% complete before being scrapped (aka Resident Evil 1.5). As an apology for that build getting scrapped, Capcom released a Saturn version of RE1 along with a remixed RE1 on PlayStation known as Director's Cut, bundled with a demo version of RE2. This is the Black Label director's cut. This means the PlayStation Branding Art is colored black, and it doesn't say "Dual Shock" version anywhere on the box. The Black Label Director's Cut also comes with a demo build of Resident Evil 2. Protip: if it comes packaged with the RE2 demo, it has the ORIGINAL MUSIC. There are 3 modes: Training Mode, Original Mode, and Arrange Mode. Original Mode is the same as the original release. All items, camera angles, enemy placements, key items, and unlockables are in their original unaltered places. Training Mode is the same as Original Mode, except you gain 2x ammo every pickup. Arrange Mode is a new game mode, here are the differences: -New Costumes for Jill and Chris, in addition to the originals. Jill and Chris wear these new costumes by upon starting Arrange. The Secret Closet is also more 'organized' looking, and can be opened without the Special Key. -Enemy Placements (more enemies in some rooms, and configurations that are harder to dodge) -New Camera angles -Key Item placement is completely altered, changing the route through the mansion. -Beretta is replaced with the Silver Beretta. Silver Beretta does the same damage to zombies, but has a 10% chance to decapitate. -Enemies require around 2x damage to kill, except for zombies. You can decap them with shotgun. -Enemies do around 2x damage to both characters. -Forest Speyer comes back from the dead as a zombie, and has the Armor Key on his corpse. This event is avoidable if you trigger Barry's appearance on the terrace as Jill. -Colt Python appears in the Broken Shotgun room, so you can get it as soon as you get the Armor Key. This is assumedly to allow the player more options to decapitate the large number of zombies in Arrange Mode. -An Infinite Colt Python can be unlocked by clearing the game with both characters rescued (best ending) for use in Arrange Mode, as a replacement bonus for the Special Key. ====================================== 4) Director's Cut Dual Shock (Green Label, Bad Music) ====================================== The Dual Shock version is the "bad" version of Director's Cut. This version appears on the North American PSN store. It is a Green Label "Greatest Hits" version. There is no RE2 demo bundled with it. It is the same as the Black Label version (Section 3), but has an arranged soundtrack by Mamoru Samuragochi (Or rather, his ghostwriter, a Japanese high school music teacher, as Samuragochi himself admitted to being a fraud). If you bought this version, you've been had. Enjoy your basement corridor clown farts! ====================================== 5. Japanese vs. US version ====================================== Characters take less damage from Zombies, and Yawn 1 takes more damage before dying. That's it, as far as I can tell. Speedrun-wise, text is faster and it only takes one less acid round to kill him in the Japanese version.
