Basic Information

⛥ ... Hello, and welcome to my blog! I'm not entirely sure why I've not done this yet, but today I'll finally be making a post introducing myself formally.

⛥ ... I am Alister / Graves / Mortis, (he/it 🏳️‍⚧️) the host of a diagnosed dissociative disorder system. This means we have alters (seperate identities that exist within one body) and I am simply one of many here, although I am the main person who will be posting here. Our bodily age is 20!

More About Me

⛥ ... I am autistic, and Brad Dourif quickly became one of my special interests as he looks and sounds extremely similar to one of the main members of our system! My interest started with human Charles Lee Ray in Child's Play, but not long after watching that, I started binging most of the movies, shows, and other various media that Brad has starred in.

⛥ ... Aside from my interest in Brad Dourif, I enjoy things in the horror genre in general, goth and horror punk music, dark cabaret, and I spend my time writing, drawing, and playing video games. I practice some forms of magic / spiritual practices and am very passionate about it!

I also very much enjoy clowns (I collect porcelain clown dolls) and taking walks in nature, especially in wooded areas.

Thank you so much! I feel you anon, I also feel safer surrounded by my fellow autisms. And you’re in luck, actually, because the VLD fandom seems to have a fairly high amount of autistic fans, so rather than having to say “sorry, I know this one fan but that’s it”, I can actually rec you a couple! 

Ones I follow:

@flappyhands-vld : VLD blog (with occassional social justice), but the tagging system is kinda lacking. I do believe that they tag ships consistently, but everything else? Not so much. Still, definitely a Quality Blog, and also probably the provider of 90% of shayllura and other w/w ships on my dash, so check them out!

@lesbian-ezor : VLD blog, but reblogs a fair amount of positivity and social justice too. However, their tagging system is  e x t e n s i v e, so if you have any triggers or need anything tagged, they should probably be your first stop. Very active, generally a good taste in content, I smile when I see them.

@writterings : not a VLD blog, but reblogs a lot of it anyway. Has a decent enough tagging system. His headcanon game is super strong, 10/10. Honestly just a really good presence on my dash? Like IDK what to say he just seems like a nice person and a Good Taste, so if you don’t mind getting a mixed blog you should be good. 

@space-mouse : not strictly a VLD blog, but reblogs a lot of it. Has a solid tagging system. Meta posts aren’t exactly frequent or infrequent, but when they’re there they’re fucking great. Basically has the exact same taste in content as me only with added klance, so 10/10 go check out their blog. Especially if you like good screenshots, since they reblog a lot of them. (EDIT: they may or may not have autism, but are operating under the assumption that they don’t, but I’m keeping them on the list because a) quality blog and b) good ally even if not autistic.)

@radioactivesupersonic : not strictly a VLD blog, but has a solid tagging system. Seems to exist on a plane seperate from the fandom, which is more than fine with me. You have probably seen their theories around, and they churn them out like nobody’s business. Seriously, how. Full disclosure: they do ship shallura, though it’s basically a ship-free blog, and they have stated that they have age-appropriate headcanons, so take that as you wish.
