The whole time I was playing Scarlet, I thought the game was going to pull a Pokémon The Movie 2000 on us (more or less...) with the parent turning into a legendary pokémon. Up until that scene, I was thinking my Koraidon was Arven’s mom!

Well, spoiler warning... That wasn’t the case x) . But I can still make my own AU about it!

Some thoughts on the Sada Koraidon AU below... As for Sada’s Koraidon design, I based it mostly on cave paintings and prehistoric megafauna.

Summary of the AU I have in mind

Sada and Turo are married, working together in Area Zero.

They want to harness the power of the ~crystals~ to make a time machine. Turo is more interested in the future, Sada in the past.

At this point, both of them are reasonably acceptable parents.

That is, until shortly after Arven was born, they fire up the time machine for a first test.

Things go haywire, there’s explosions, when the smoke dies down there’s no Turo to be found.

Sada believes he’s dead (plot twist, he’s actually a Miraidon now), she spirals and sends Arven to live with her sister.

Sada creates the AI to help her.

She tries to test the time machine again, hellbent on finishing the project she started, once more it goes Wrong, and she’s a Koraidon now!

More instinct than reason, she flees Area zero and goes to search for Arven while the AI struggles to close the time machine.

I have no clue what Turo’s up to the whole time. Maybe he’s also with Arven, who thinks he’s just a normal pokémon?
