I Love You | Kim Woojin [Part 3]
Summary; before Woojin had left your life, you had bought a Stray Kids ticket for support
Genre; angst, fluff
Word Count; 1.7k
Last part of the Woojin mini series
-
Your hand gripped the piece of paper tightly in your hands. Your glossy eyes looked down, looking at the ticket you had bought weeks prior. It was for Stray Kid’s last concert date of the tour. You had bought it to surprise them, even going as far to making your own sign in support of Woojin.
But that didn’t matter anymore.
You wiped away your tears, shaking your head. You glanced at the time on your phone, noticing that you had an hour before the concert would start.
You blinked away the rest of your tears and took a deep breath. You pushed yourself up off of your bed and slipped the ticket into your purse. You took one glance at the Woojin sign you had made, deciding to leave there, before walking out of your room. On your way out, you made sure to grab your house keys.
With your shoulder purse across your body, you locked up your small apartment. You let out a soft sigh. You checked the time once more before walking down to the bus stop that was down the road. The next bus should be coming soon, and then you would be at the venue to see Stray kids perform.
When the bus rolled up, you took your place in the back. You slipped the earbuds out of your purse, plugging it into your phone. Music played through your ears as you watched the roads and other vehicles pass by.
It didn’t take long before the bus stopped at the venue, and lots of teenage girls, and some boys, exited the bus clad in lots of Stray Kids merch. You sighed softly, lifting yourself up off the seat and exited the bus.
Excited screams of fans could be heard over your earbuds. And the screams only started to get louder. Your head tilted in the direction of the crowd, noticing that it was coming together in a cluster. Your eyes traveled around, your legs carrying you towards the crowd.
You hands moved the earbuds out of your ears, and you regretted it instantly when the screams were right in your ear. You pushed yourself through the crowd, and you wished you hadn’t. Your body frozen.
Right in front of you was Chan. Your eyes widened and so did his. You shook your head, tears welling up in your eyes. You blinked, trying to get the tears away, but that stopped helping once Woojin walked up from behind Chan.
You shook your head, your feet beginning to take steps backwards. Chan nudged Woojin quickly, dragging his attention into you. Woojin’s body froze. It was like time slowed down. Here you were, his y/n, right in front of him.
His eyes took in your appearance. You were wearing an outfit Woojin had gotten you awhile back for your first Stay Kids concert. It was a black skater skirt with a white stray kids shirt that he customized just for you.
Woojin’s own eyes began to blur with tears, and he shut his eyes for a moment. He took in a deep breath, trying to calm himself. But when he opened up his eyes, you were gone.
You had moved away from the crowd and instead, already headed into the venue. When you met with security, you pulled out your ticket as proof of your purchase, and let them check your bag.
Once you deemed okay to go in, you quickly when to your seat.
When you still had a good relationship with Woojin, you had saved up every last bit of your money for this ticket. And you had wanted this surprise for them to be special, so you had bought tickets really close to the stage. Right now, you were regretting that.
You wiped your eyes again, resting back in the seat. You took in a deep breath.
“Hey, are you okay?”
You jumped as you heard the voice next to you. Your head turned to the right of you and slowly nodded, answering the girl’s answer next to you.
“Yeah, I’m fine.” You spoke softly, hoping that your voice wouldn’t waver.
There’s was a silence between you and the girl, before she snapped her fingers and a gasp left her lips.
“I know you! Well not personally, but I’ve seen you!” The girl’s voice was bubbly, and her eyes seemed to shine as she spoke, “You’re the girl that was in that dating rumor with Woojin! That’s why you’re here right, to support him?” Before you could deny her assumptions, she continued to talk, “And you don’t have any Woojin banners.”
A visible pout moved to her lips. She shook her head before she dug into her own purse beside her. And out in her hand was some stickers, and each of them had Woojin’s face on them.
“I made them myself, so I hope you don’t mind.” She spoke softly, an embarrassed blush moving to her cheeks.
You couldn’t help the small giggle that erupted from your throat. The action was cute, and you had to admit that you missed fangirling as well.
“Thanks.” You hummed, taking the stickers from her hands.
A small smile moved to your lips. You placed the biggest sticker on your chest, right above your heart. Then you stuck the second one on your cheek. The last one made its way onto your purse.
“I made some for all of the members, but I only seemed to use the Felix and Chan ones.” The girl laughed softly, before she smiled, “I’m Sunny.”
“I’m y/n.” You hummed.
Then your attention moved to the stage as all the lights turned out. The show was about to begin, and your heart was hammering in your chest.
The stage lights flashed on, almost blinding you. Your eyes squinted before you adjusted to it. One by one, each of the boys ran onto the stag, mics in hands, and no sweat clinging onto their foreheads.
Cheers and screams filled your ears, and this time, you were joining in. Your hands cupped around your mouth, your screams echoing in the arena and mixing with the other screams of fans.
Your eyes danced around, searching the stage. Subconsciously, your eyes began to look for Woojin’s figure. Once you found him, your eyes kept to him the whole concert.
“Oh my gosh, y/n! Woojin can’t keep his eyes off of you!” Sunny squealed, her hands grabbing onto your arm, shaking you in excitement.
Your gaze broke away from Woojin, looking at Sunny and letting out a scoff, “Yeah, right. He wouldn’t do that.” You tucked your hair behind your ear, muttering to yourself, “He wants nothing to do with me.”
You enjoyed the concert more than you thought you would, with your eyes glued onto Woojin, and Sunny’s constant fangirling over the Aussie duo, it wasn’t so bad.
The concert had finished, and you had exchanged social media usernames with Sunny. It was a good ending to the concert. You gathered your things, walking out of the venue with Sunny by your side.
Before you could leave the actual building, a hand was gripped onto your arm. You eyes widened and you slowly turned around. One of the security guards was holding onto your arm.
“Is there something you need?” You asked, your voice shaking.
“You y/n?” He spoke, you only nodded, “I’m going to need you to come with me.”
Your eyes widened more but you nodded your head. You waved bye to Sunny and began walking with the security guard. He weaved you through the crowd, going through the maze of people before taking you backstage. Both of you paused in front of a door, and your heart started thumping wildly. This could only mean one thing.
Woojin wanted you there.
You couldn’t help the flutter that took over your chest. You hated that it was happening. You looked to the security guard, but he only motioned his head to the door. Slowly, your shaking hand gripped onto the doorknob, turning it slowly before pushing it open.
The talking on the other side stopped altogether, and you were frozen in the doorway. Your eyes spun around the room, and your body started shaking again.
“I don’t think I’m supposed to be here, sorry.” You murmured, about to back away and go back out the door.
“Wait!”
Your actions paused, and you looked to the owner of the voice. Your heart dropped down to your stomach, bumping around in every direction it could reach.
“Woojin..” you whispered, your eyes watering again.
“Y/n, please stay.” Woojin spoke, his body moving into your direction, “I need to talk to you. I need you.”
“You don’t need me.” You huffed, gripping onto the doorknob, “You want nothing to do with me.”
“That’s not true!” He exclaimed, getting closer to you.
You only shook your head, moving back farther before Woojin’s hands reached out and gripped your shoulders. You struggled against him, your sons now leaving you.
“Stop!” You shrieked, hiccups forming. “We’re already nothing! We don’t need to talk-“
Before you could finish, you were pulled into a warm, hard chest. A gasp left your lips before your fingers gripped onto Woojin’s shirt. Your sobs left your throat and you only gripped on tighter.
“Shh. It’s alright. I have you now.” Woojin hummed, his hands gripping your waist.
You sniffled, pulling your face away. Your blurry eyes looked up at Woojin. You shook your head, pushing yourself back. He only gripped onto you tighter as you struggled.
“Leave me alone-“
You cut you off. With his lips.
Woojin pressed his lips tightly against yours. You didn’t mean to, but you relaxed into his arms. Your hands slid up his chest, hooking behind his neck. You were kissing him back. And it felt amazing. It felt like fireworks were going off, and explosives were going off in your stomach.
Slowly, Woojin pulled back, “I love you, y/n, and I don’t want to lose you.”
And you didn’t want to lose him either.

CGAU- Puppets of the Malevolent God
Something is amiss at the graduation ceremony Arthur attends, but before he has time to ponder it, a surprising guest appears.
“Introducing your ninth grade student council president... Nick Kronus.”
Arthur’s eyes widened.
Nick Kronus?! But wasn’t he just onstage as the student council president of the graduating class?!
He glanced around him. Some students were asleep in their chairs, others looking bored. Some listened with rapt attention, others played on their phones or scrolled through social media.
True to word, Nick Kronus entered the auditorium from backstage and walked over to the podium. He looked the same as he had that morning, wearing a blue vest over a white shirt, and with the same grin on his face.
“Hey, everyone. I’m Nick Kronus. As you might know, I’m your student council president for next year, and I’ll be working ever-so-hard to make this school an even better place.“ Nick’s eyes scanned the crowd.
Arthur’s hands squeezed his seat.
“I already have visions to improve infrastructure, especially with the internet and with the outdoor areas. I think we should establish gardens, and I’ve conducted surveys showing that 73% of students think we should get gardens too. And-“
Arthur’s eyes darted around. Does no one care?!
Behind him, Michy was playing Puzzle Guardians 3 on her phone. She looked bored, as she always did.
No one...
“So, in conclusion, I hope we have a great year.“ Nick smiled. “And to everyone else in the crowd-” Nick held his hand out, opening his eyes to reveal that they were golden. “may you be blessed by the feather-cross!“
Arthur’s eyes widened. Huh?
The area above Nick was suddenly filled with a dazzling gleam. Arthur squeezed his eyes shut and covered them, only peeking out a few seconds later to watch the person next to him, who was staring at the light.
The light subsided just a little. Arthur stared at the source- a dazzling angel, flying above the stage, four wings wrapped around its finely clothed body.
The angel smiled and closed his eyes. “May my children come unto me and feel true joy.“
Arthur stood up and faced the angel. As he did, the light subsided. The angel began whispering words- words that to Arthur sounded like glitches and stutters around a real voice. It began glowing again, giving off an even more oppressive light.
The person next to him suddenly slumped over. Arthur watched as his skin tensed up, and turned green, eventually folding over and over itself until it turned into crude cloth. The person stood back up, its body forcing itself upward. Its head turned to the side- towards Arthur. Half of the person’s face had been replaced by sackcloth, a large hole where an eye should have been. Its fingers, too, had been replaced by foot-long claws.
Arthur watched as others around him underwent the same transformation, and now stood up, growling, each of their eyes trained on him.
“Oh... no... “
Arthur watched as one of the sackcloth beings jumped for a student that hadn’t been transformed, landing its mouth, now filled with pointed teeth, on the human’s head.
“Hey!“ he shouted. He watched as three more sackcloth humans chased a girl under a chair before piercing it with its claws, stabbing the girl in the back and causing her to collapse.
--------
“What’s going on?!“ Lily shouted. She and Venus were standing in the auditorium, surrounded by four growling and hissing sackcloth creatures.
“I-I have no idea!“
“Your friends... “ Lily pointed to a group of boys half-clothed in leather jackets. “They’re going to kill us!“
“Lily, you have to get out of here!“ Venus shielded her body. “Run as far as you can!“
“I’m taking you with me, asshole!“ Lily grabbed his hand and dragged him towards the exit. “I don’t know what’s going on, but I am not leaving you behind!“
“... Yeah, it’s probably better that way!“
----------
Brooke dodged the strikes of two creatures and kicked one of their feet out from under them. She socked the other in the jaw before running to an open window and jumping through. “Fucking hell!“
----------
“Arthur!“
Arthur turned around. Michy was sitting behind him, giving him an angry look. “Don’t disrupt the ceremony!”
“Michy!“ Arthur narrowly dodged a set of claws aimed at him, followed by another swipe. He kicked out a chair from under him, slamming it into another creature. He grabbed Michy’s hand. Seeing two people kick the doors open, he followed them. A boy in a leather jacket and an Asian girl had already started running towards the shopping mall, followed by a bunch of the creatures- Arthur decided to run in the other direction, taking Michy with him. Behind them, six more creatures followed.
“Arthur, what’s going on?!“ Michy shouted, staring at the door. “Where are you running?“
“Anywhere but here!“ Arthur shouted.
“But what’s going on?!“ Michy asked.
“Hell if I know!“
“This is crazy!“
Arthur glanced behind him. For now, they were outpacing the creatures.
As he turned back around, his eyes widened.
Standing before him was the same person he had seen starting fights outside of the school. In her hand was a large gun, and on her face, a resolute smile. She held up the gun- it appeared to be a pistol three times the size of a normal one. Under her eyes were long vertical blue marks. Over her ears were headphone-like appendages. To Arthur, she looked almost like a cyborg.
Arthur stopped as the girl held up her gun.
“Arthur?!“ Michy shouted.
Arthur screamed and ducked as the girl fired her gun three times. A few seconds later, he opened his eyes, realizing that they hadn’t hit him. A few milliseconds later, he heard three explosions, one after the other, behind him. He turned around. The bodies of the monstrous students behind him were on fire, burning with a bright blue flame, writhing in pain before collapsing under the weight of their scorched legs. Arthur watched them in awe, before a voice snapped him back to reality.
“Follow me!“ The cyborg girl motioned for Arthur to follow her.
“Wh-“ Arthur glanced at the bodies. “You just killed them!“
“Do you want to die?!“ the girl shouted. “They’ll be fine-” Her eyes widened and she pointed behind Arthur. As Arthur turned around, he realized that four more of the creatures were running towards them.
“Let’s go!“ Arthur bolted towards the girl, taking Michy with him. The girl led them through the pedestrian road, towards a city street.
--------
“Oh, hey.“ From above, a person with blue hair tied back into a ponytail watched the two girls and boy run from three of their classmates. “Veeery interesting, indeed. Isn’t that Arthur James Mink down there, chasing our little ninja?”
--------
Arthur never let go of Michy’s hand as he followed the girl in the strange costume through twists, turns, alleys, and shortcuts all over the city. Eventually, he reached open sidewalk again.
The girl held her hand out as she reached a six-lane street and stood in place, glancing behind her to ensure that Arthur was following. When he finally caught up, he panted and leaned against a traffic pole.
“I think we lost them,“ the girl said.
“Lost who?“ Michy asked. “Who’d we lose?“
“Didn’t you see?“ Arthur asked Michy. “Behind us-“
“Arthur, are you okay?“ Michy laughed. “You ran out of the ceremony like you’d seen a ghost!“
“But there was-“
“Stop.“ The girl placed her hand, almost like a cyborg’s hand, on Arthur’s shoulder. “She didn’t see them.“
Arthur stood back up and wiped the sweat off his brow. As he nodded at her, he suddenly felt a jolt in his body. It was like his heart had been tossed in his chest. He grabbed his chest and collapsed to his knees. Glancing next to him, he saw that the girl was clutching her chest as well, staring behind her.
“Dammit,“ she whispered, “he’s going all-out.“
After she said that, Arthur watched as four sackcloth creatures appeared from the alleyways. They hissed, spitting green acid out of their mouths, before they charged at Arthur.
“Let’s go!“ The girl grabbed Arthur’s hand and pulled him into the street.
“No! Wait!“ Arthur watched as she ran straight in front of a car, taking him with her, before jumping on top of the hood and leaping to another vehicle. He flew along with her, though less gracefully. From the second car, she jumped to an SUV, to the pedestal of a statue of a man on a horse.
“Arthur!“ Michy shouted.
“Michy!“ Arthur shouted back.
“Shh!“ the girl whispered, as she took Arthur car-jumping for another three lanes.
Michy stood in place as the creatures raced by her, straight into traffic. She didn’t see all of them be hit by cars that didn’t even attempt to dodge them.
---------
“Please, miss,“ Arthur said, gripping the girl’s shoulders, “explain everything that just happened!“
“Well, first, it’s ‘Allie’, not ‘Miss’.“ The girl, apparently named Allie, removed Arthur’s hands from her shoulders. “I can still feel the rays of control. I don’t think I have time to tell you everything, per se... the Poppets might find us again... “
They were standing under the entrance of a grocery store.
“You left Michy behind-“
“Michy will be fine, don’t worry. If you call her, you’ll see that she’s unhurt.“
“Are you sure?“
“Absolutely.“
“Okay.“ Arthur sighed and nodded. “And then, what’s going on? Why do you look like a-“
“Oh, this is a transformation. See, this place is called Paradise LR, and-“
“My, my, Allie. Won’t you start from the beginning?“ A female voice rang out behind Allie. Its source fluttered up over her shoulder- a large but beautiful butterfly, with wings like stained glass. “First, the world you’re in isn’t real, and-”
“A talking butterfly?!“ Arthur exclaimed, seeing the butterfly. He stepped back as the stained-glass butterfly, about the size of his hand, floated towards him.
“We’re really doing well here, aren’t we?“ Allie laughed. “Please don’t be alarmed.“
“How can I not be?“
“Okay, maybe take a few seconds to calm down-“
A crack of thunder interrupted them. A few seconds later, rain began to pour from the sky.
“Looks like the rays of control have faded,“ the butterfly said. “It should be safe now.“
“It’s safe?!“ Arthur asked. “I need to check on Michy!“
“It’s safe.“ Allie said. “Just make sure that whenever you feel that from now on, you avoid any places where students might be.“
“Okay.“ Arthur nodded.
“I’m sure you’re confused as all hell,“ Allie said. “But I want you to be careful. There’s no way out of the city. Try to avoid interacting with anything involving the feather-cross from now on. And,“ she said, with a smile, “If you ever need us, we’ll be happy to help, Arthur.“
The girl with pink hair waved goodbye. The little butterfly floated from her shoulder into the air. Arthur watched as she typed a series of words into her phone. Two seconds later, Arthur felt his phone vibrate. The Storyshow page had just updated. He glanced at it. There was a new post. “Let’s call the curtains on this false sense of safety.” When he glanced up from his phone again, the girl was gone, along with the talking butterfly.
