Finished Król by Szczepan Twardoch; such a great book, though hard to read emotionally. I was constantly asking myself why I feel sympathy for the bad guys; it wasn't because they are the main characters, it was more like everyone is a shitty person here, but they are all humans. And the plot twist? Something bothered me and eventually I figured it out before it was revealed a bit later; genius writing, love when it happens.

Polish literature continues to impress me. I've enjoyed everything I've read so far.
