man, dudes, the gen 5 pokeman games are really good.
#espy talks#i'm doing a nuzlocke of it#and i havent played it much since i got it when i was a kid#i remember when i got it i basically finished it like over the weekend or smthn. it went super fast#i liked it a lot but not as much as gen 4#so that's probbaly why i never played it again#but going through it now is kinda fun. i remember bits but it's been so long it's almost like playing blind#i definately like the pixel artstyle of the older pokeman games much more.#and the semi 3d graphics are super impressive in this game#and the fully animated sprites are making battles a little less boring#which i think is why i never finished a nuzlocke. grindings a huge part of it and i don't like grinding in games#and there's littlew quality of life things that makes parts a little less tredious.#like therers a nurse trainer that heals you anytime after you beat her. and they put a fair number of em in the game#and if you'rre using potions it lets you heal several pokemon without needing to go into the bag every time#i thnk gen 4's poketch was a much better idea for the bottom screen though#which. i wonder how they'll incoropoate those things if the rumore for sinnoh remakes arte true#idk if i want sinnoh remakes anymore though. i think the original is just. visually so much better. the modern graphics'll ruin it#it'd be nice if they just did the virtual console thing instead and incorporate compatability with pokeman home or whatever it is#and reinstate the gts. i wanna see really unfair trades for common pokemon again.#..who else hated that btw? they were all over the gts and i could never find a fair trade#my brother got a deoxys off it once. best trade of out lives#so uh anyways hope y'all are doin ok. i'm gonna grind for several hours
