I enrolled in my employer's matched 401k plan without overthinking any aspect of it. I don't even know who I am any more
#with almost every aspect of life I'm like 'I must become an expert about this to get the most out of it'#and financial planning is an obvious area to become an expert for ~maximum yield~ or whatever#HOWEVER the entire process and concepts are so odious to me#I'm just gonna do what the experts recommend and I don't need to research it in detail#if I save successfully for retirement: cool#if we degrow the economy to stop making the earth uninhabitable as quickly and I lose money because of it: also cool#win win!#boring text posts#job 3
