Depends on the game you want to play. Certain emulators can only play certain games because its made for those consoles (like ryujinx is for switch games, Dolphin for Gamcube/Wii, Desume for the DSs, etc).

Hey zelda friends do any of yall know good emulators for any of the zelda games?

#if ur getting a game from somehwere and its an .exe do NOT open it. remove it immediately #roms/dumps are never .exe as theure not a solo application and need an emulator to run #also sorry yall im an emulator fiend. i primarily only emulate games i currently have or ones that are impossible for me to play in the—#— near future #edit: btw if u own steam or a steam deck u can get certain emulators from there #but if ur not getting rhem from steam i DO recommend closing the app when u want to use them (if u have steam)#certain emulators wont register ur controller (use a controller) if steam is open because it takes priority over said controller #dolphin in particular is pretty bad (controller dedection wise). if u plan on getting dolphin i recommend getting betterjoy off github #<- and then close steam when u run betterjoy to prevent the app from going wacko on you #other emulators can be run through steam to get the controller to work but it doesnt always happen #ryujinx is one that hates it. but its a good emulator #anyways. sorry again. emulator fiend 🫡
