hello dear anon!! yes i do have an insaneduo mermaid au

there’s already two posts on it which you can find here and here, the first one is a bit outdated but most of it still holds up!!

in the au, forever and cellbit are the equivalent of being married!! they traded scales, forever has one of cellbit’s on a bracelet and cellbit has forevers scale shaped like a ring so he can wear it on his hand :DD forever wears a bracelet because i think he’d lose it too easily if it was a ring lol

they are basically inseparable and always go places together exploring the ocean, collecting things from the ocean floor or human watching because cellbit is very interested in learning about them.

they are also very clingy!! cellbit less so, he just follows forever everywhere but forever likes to hug cellbit from behind or hold his hand whenever he can :3c if cellbit suddenly became super cuddly forever would def ask if somethings wrong because he’s not super big on physical touch (giving at least, in my opinion). i think one of the few times cellbit is very clingy to forever is when he’s asleep bevause octopus don’t need a lot of sleep cellbit will but cling to forevers back and pass out there while forever is doing whatever.

they go to each others spot (every mermaid has one, it’s like their special place/home essentially and usually only a mermaids significant other is allowed there) often as well!!

Their relationship is very similar to the qsmp so they just clicked instantly and are best friends!! they care about each other a lot and worry about each others well being :”)) they love each other okay!! they do and it makes me so soft,,,,
