the lost tldr (and honestly the lost hero au as a whole) is basically this: wild remembers everything from before the calamity. this isn't like aoc, its a botw (and totk) au where wild still dies, but the shrine captial f Fucked Up wild isn't wild. i mean, he is, but theres enough of a distinction that he needs his own name. so while he's hero of the wild, due to MANY circumstances, he temporarily has the title of "the lost hero" by hylia and thats what he goes by. lost has all of the trauma from before (so all memories + everything in coc + everything in dlc diaries + whatever Horrors kay n i decide to haunt him with) + everything in botw. due to him remembering, he doesn't have the same lightheartedness that wild has, and is instead a knight through and through. his focus is soley on saving zelda (whos named tears for reasons ill explain later) and side quests are an afterthought he joins the chain, still has his vow of silence which disturbs the chain Greatly and BAM totk happens! tlh is a totk swap au!! due to lost's self sacrificing behavior (this is canon. thank you creating a champion) he gets sent back in time 10,000 years, gets turned into a dragon and the whole shabang. tears is the one on the actual adventure and thats where her name comes from!! (she also has wild's chaoticness if your wondering) insert totk plot with mild changes (mostly involving the swap or ganon), and bam lost is back with the chain. hes Not Well (and by that i mean his mannerisms have not changed in 6 years and now he acts like Everything Is Fine) the dam breaks, chain realizes just how bad everything is then its a healing arc i CANNOT understate how much was glossed over. lost lu has all of my in depth posts + art of him, + theres a fic called lost link (who are you? that @/eponatheestallion writes and i help beta and feed ideas. even then THATS not everything since theres so much noncanon material that i havent even mentioned here, and same for all of the side things!! this guy has so much shit abt him its hard to capture even close to all of it. but that's the basics. also theres a LOT of wars and twilight suffering in there too because we both make our faves Go Through It tldr: wild remembers and has a bad time.
