Honestly, Re: <3 in its planned incarnation is just a fun mess. Aesthetically it’s bizarre, the characters are just as odd (I already mentioned how the player character is just the exact opposite of what is usual for this genre), and it’s really nothing if not a weird geeky trip. I think I’ve finally kind of found the niche I wanted for it, where it just distinguishes itself by giving absolutely no fucks. Or, at least, all the fucks given are dumped into world building and technical geekery. The story is mostly just fun.
