How much less criticism would there be about the Doctor crying/generally being openly emotional this season if he wasn't being played by a Black man
#like yeah they're letting him be more ''soft'' emotional this season (which iirc they set up in the episode they introduced Ncuti's Doctor)#but every time I see someone whining and bitching about it I have to wonder#if they would be equally upset about it if theyd cast another young white boy#like how much of it is your dislike of the Doctor being emotional and how much of it is that you're uncomfortable with a Black man showing#emotion in a healthy way that goes against the racist bs stereotyping we've had drilled into us our whole lives#new new who#doctor who#fandom racism
