Honestly the Tesla autopilot thing shutoff thing is probably to prevent the assisted driving from causing more damage during a crash. However, since it’s marketed as autopilot, and everything else surrounding Tesla and it’s CEO, they haven’t earned the benefit of the doubt from me or anyone else.
