I'm not a public person, obviously, but I work in advertising and omg I'm one of the most discreet and shy people, so even if his husband doesn't care about photos in the feed or exposing his image because of work (just like me ), I would understand if he was averse to people speculating about their private life, because if they keep it low key, people will comment or if they admit it, people will comment even more lol it will be more invasive, so if this is In any case, living in silence is one of the best ways!

I think he's testing the waters! They're probably seeing that people didn't react badly to the rumors and will comment on it at some point, in a delicate and beautiful way, just as their relationship should be. I see him being an actor similar to Jonathan from the Bridgerton series.

With Tpz it feels to me like they are trying to make him look straight but I really hope I'm wrong. They were pushing the S*brina C*rpenter thing a bit. If he does start performing heterosexuality I think the lgbtq+ community should call it out on social media. I don't blame him but his representatives and the industry. This is going to continue happening but if people call it out and bring attention to it then it may go viral and his representatives might think twice about it. I HATE the closet defenders, they're everywhere. Stop defending the closet. It's okay if it's entirely the person's decision to be closeted but when it comes to celebrities it is usually the industry's doing. These celebrities are made to feel that they can't be successful if they're queer. How does the industry know queer people can't be successful if they don't give queer people the same opportunities that they give straight people, they don't invest as much money into them. People might think they're helping by defending the closet but it does more damage because the industry will see it and continue what it's doing. The silence around Tpz and his husband on twitter from fans is crazy. Stop pretending that his husband doesn't exist??? I completely agree with you that if Tpz asked for privacy from fans/gp then people would respect it. He could make a social media post and say that he has a husband but his husband doesn't want to be in the limelight, please respect their privacy thank you. People would respect it. People like transparency. It's all the lying that makes people dig more. Just be honest with people. But me being skeptical, I think that they're going to try and hide this husband so women can project heterosexual fantasies on to Tpz. He's a good looking guy. But I hope I'm wrong. It's like with Harry and Louis. All this rubbish about them wanting a private life. All they would have to do is CO and say that they're in a relationship but could people please value their privacy. The majority of people would. It's not quite that simple with HL but you get my point. Another thing that drives me crazy is the twitter purity police telling people not to speculate on someone's sexuality. Harries especially (but I've seen this with Nick fans too) will preach about not speculating about his sexuality and they'll scold fans who are doing it but then they'll turn around and say that he's sleeping with every woman he is standing next to. First of all, i've seen the promo for tzp's other projects were they tried to connect him to joey and sabri*a etc. I haven't seen that this time around. That was also before the fandom found out he had a husband.

Testing the waters would be a good plan! Jonathan bailey is actually a good example because he has a long time partner! That nobody knows that much about. Jonathan doesn’t have a fandom like tzp does though.

And staying slient and being in a glass closet can be a good idea. I'm just not sure if it'll work now that the husband is known. I think that's the most likely course of action, at least for the time being.

The speech was when Harry was talking to a couple in the crowd at a concert when the news first broke out and Niall's microphone caught L saying "I think Harry's fucking with me" and H talks like L actually slept with her and got her pregnant like "Here in 1D we love love we just spread it around" and he gave emphasis on raincoats. Would love to hear your thoughts.

Hi, dear! Thank you for coming back. Ah okay, I understand the context now, I've seen people talking about the raincoats talk before... but there's no connection there for me 😂 I'm sorry but I think something is really getting lost in translation when "nice raincoat" equals "my bf had sex with a woman and got her pregnant". However, I absolutely agree Harry trying to strike a nerve with this conversation, but it was with something else. I wrote this analysis a few years ago about HL dynamics when babygate news first dropped. They definitely seemed to have some tension going on there, I think the stunt was very challenging for them. And the video you mentioned is in there, so I hope this helps to contextualize things a bit!

So. There's that. I don't know if you had time to look through my tags yet, anon, but I also recommend you this post that points out a lot of inconsistencies in thinking Larry is real but that Freddie is Louis' son. I mean, these two things can't really coexist considering most part of the reason a lot of people believe HL's relationship is real is due all the signalling and consistency. And they did *so much* signalling with babygate. Still do!

"Moral enemies"

Well.... where do I even begin lol

In 2015, there was a The Sun article written by Dan Wootton (🤢🤮) where the intention was basically "why Harry and Louis are mortal enemies and why that ended 1D" while for us it was more "why everything is a lie: for dummies". And I'm mentioning this because I think this article specifically gives a very clear perspective in terms of what narrative they were going for:

I'm not copy-pasting the entire thing here but here's a few nasty parts more specifically about H&L:

"The biggest issues in the band can be traced back over three years to an irreconcilable falling-out between their two most influential members, heart-throb Harry and highly-ambitious Louis.

But by the start of 2012 they had abruptly moved out, their best friendship over, leaving them barely able to talk to each other unless for work purposes or in public.

A source close to the band revealed: “Apart from Harry and Louis, no one knows exactly what caused the falling out — they didn’t even tell the other boys the full details.

“But it was very serious and their friendship has never recovered. Everyone involved in the band is well aware of the animosity between them.

“It’s been central to everything else that came next with the band because there was suddenly a massive divide.”

Given Louis and Harry spent a long time unable to even fly in the same private jet because of the hatred between them, that’s a laughable notion. And neither is gay.

So what happened was that they moved in together to their Princess Park flat in September 2011. And by the beginning of 2012, there were already articles saying H&L were not living together anymore and that Harry was looking for his own place until he bought Erskine House in August. That was around the same time as the bullshit tweet and Haylor. So I think here was when they first started some real damage control about Larry. Also about Harry buying his public house, this is where there is all that bullshit involving living in Ben Winston's basement (they were still trying to push that like a year ago, ridiculous) which is obviously not true. Harry never "moved out" from Louis, there's an entire timeline on their living situation. And they obviously never had a fall-out in 2012 either. And as we all know, after 2013 they started to interact less and less publicly, they were never seen alone together and all that. Fans noticed that and there was all kind of rumours about their friendship going around. And we were robbed on 1D Day when they paired all of them but H&L.

But I think it wasn't until weedgate that they were put as "enemies". It was sold the idea that Harry highly disapproved the video of Louis and Zayn and he was above all of that and they couldn't even stand flying in the same plane together.

2014 was a rough year, there is a lot of theories also indicating weedgate was planned by them to try to get rid of image clauses. While Harry literally tried to come out every day that year, check my big gay war tag for that. There was clearly a lot going on behind the scenes with their label and management. And we were robbed yet again when they paired the boys for the Coca Cola commercial, everyone but Harry and Louis. While they were out there getting complementary tattoos, serenading to each other every night and all kinds of receipts going around about them sharing hotel rooms and not even trying to hide that. I believe it was around that time too that the narrative against larries became very strong and 1DHQ really started to put fans against each other pushing down everyone's throats that larries were delulu and they! were! straight! And rumours about larry stylinson was what actually made their friendship to be over.

In 2015 we saw them interact a lot, which was new. That made a lot of people question this narrative of them being enemies because they were very friendly throughout the entire promo season of MITAM. While at the same time it was being said they wrote Perfect in separate rooms lol

Back to that Dan Wootton article, the narrative where Harry and Louis were basically the biggest "issue" for the band and that's what led them to "downfall" was so absurd that even Niall (Niall!!! don't-get-involved-in-anything-Niall) tweeted about how much of a blatant lie that was. Not to mention all the other dramas about the other boys he tried to push on that article, just... massive yikes.

And of course, later on, Louis talked about how they were all brothers and supportive and he also talked about how his relationship with Harry was about "mutual respect".

Lies lies lies.
