Hand in Mine, Into Your Icy Blues
Words: 2872
TRIGGER WARNINGS: Child neglect, implied abuse
Hey hey, you you, prefer reading fics on ao3? https://archiveofourown.org/works/27850118
AU where ghost hunting is a respected profession and captured ghosts are used as tools in order to find other ghosts, *insert Danny angst because I love seeing the boy suffer*
The Fentons are America's top ghost researchers, famous for their work, infamous for their neglectful habits. Jazz finds their newest research subject down in the lab.
It was weird to live with the fact that your parents are “big shots” in their profession when you have to come home to them every day. Especially when you didn’t seem to know your parents at all when all you saw of them were the shadows behind their studies.
Growing up as an only child was, in the nicest way possible, lonely. Which is why Jasmine Fenton found herself raised by the books on her shelf and the curiosity in her heart. Sure, her parents were there at the start, it would be cruel to leave a newborn baby to fend for herself, but the moment she showed signs of independence.
It was fine. Everything she could ever need she could find on her own. She taught herself to cook, to clean, to spell the extra difficult words in her 3rd grade English class, to solve the laborious equations in her honors Pre-Cal class. She earned the food she made, she reveled in the clean citrus smell of her room, she earned the praise from her teachers. And when she found she couldn’t connect to the other students, she just reminded herself that she didn’t need the warm embrace of a mother, the thunderous laugh of a father, nor did she need friends. She could take care of herself.
Which is why she found herself sat in front of the only thing her parents ever shielded her from.
-
It was a sad sight to say the least. It seemed like it was more bruises and taunt broken bones, if it even had bones, than skin. She had always been known for her soft heart, always giving others second chances even when they were undeserving. Which is why she found herself in front of the very thing that shouldn’t ever be shown that kind of weakness.
Apart from the obvious signs of abuse, it was all teeth and claws, snarling at her even now. She was sure that if she were to let it out, it wouldn’t hesitate in killing her and her parents.
The growl that erupted from its chest broke her away from her thoughts. The cold basement floor seemed to get colder as she stared into its eyes. There was a flash of something before his gaze was consumed by guarded anger.
“Hey, it’s okay,” the closer she got the more aggressive it seemed to get, “it’s okay, I’m not going to hurt you. Look!”
She opened her palm to reveal a cookie she had snuck down with her. If Pavlov taught her anything, it’s that the favors of any being, be it a dog or undead monstrosity, can be won over through positive stimuli.
“Here see, I’ll have some too! It’s really good, I’m sure you’ll like it!”
At this point in her life, she wasn’t really sure of anything anymore. Life had been so much easier when her parents were just some far to reach superheroes she barely saw. She used to think like them, that ghosts, if you could even call them that, were just balls of left-over emotion from when a person died. That ghosts were some kind of monster in the closet that her parents could just scare away with their presence. That they were less than the dust bunnies under her bed. But there were skeletons in that closet too. Awful, immoral experiments, living dissections, and the screams. She doesn’t hate her parents, far from it, she loves them with all her heart, but the studies they were a part of? The less empathic members in their field? Hunters? Those were fair game to hate.
She split the cookie into two messy halves, popping one in her mouth as she nudged the other closer to the teeth in front of her. The teeth glared back.
“Okay, I get it, I’ll be on my way, but this isn’t the last you’ll see of me.”
With that, she got up, dusted her jeans off, and with her took the only light present in the basement lab.
She didn’t catch the small ‘thank you’ that followed.
-
Once in her room, Jazz let the tears slip. Whatever was in her parents’ basement was really pulling at her heartstrings. The thing looked to be no older than 15 years old, it was a child. But looks can be deceiving. She couldn’t begin to count how many of these child ghosts had attempted a massacre, how many of them seemed innocent enough to fool someone out of their own free will. Child or not, whatever was in the basement was dangerous. She was playing with fire here. But the look of hurt in his eyes seemed real; felt real. And, if anything, he seemed more at risk of being hurt by her rather than the other way around. He was as thin as a twig and too exhausted to do much of anything. If she could only-
Jazz shook the thoughts out of her head, plopping herself on her bed. Since when had ‘it’ become a ‘he’? And more importantly, why was there fear in his eyes?
“Jazzy pants, we’re home! We’ll be in the lab if you need us. “We left 20 bucks on the dinner table, go ahead and order some take-out for yourself!”
She sighed as she pushed herself off and out of her room. As she dialed the number to the first restraint that came to mind, she couldn’t help her thoughts wandering to the bag of bones locked in the lab just beneath her feet.
“Hi, thank you for calling Shanghai Inn what can I get started for yah?”
“Yeah, can I get some Vegetable Chow Mein and two Egg Rolls please?”
-
By the time her parents had finally stepped out of the lab, the food had long since gone cold. She tiptoed down into the basement and cracked open the door into darkness. There was a green glow and something of a soft hum emanating from something shoved in the corner of the lab. Taking a deep breath, she mustered up the courage to fully plunge into the shadows and crept towards the covered cage. One hand holding a plate of Chinese take-out, she fumbled with her phone until it pierced the darkness.
Almost instantly the hum ceased, again plunging her into a deafening silence.
“Hey, um, I’m back and I brought more goodies!”
There was a sudden sound of rustling before a quiet sniffle was heard. At that, she closed the distance between her and the cage in front of her and she peeled back the sheet over it.
She almost threw up there and then.
It- he was barely holding himself together, literally. He was tightly hugging his bleeding torso. A less perceptive person would’ve pegged it as the remnants of whatever was the creature’s last meal, but Jazz saw the jagged cuts he was trying but failing, to conceal. He’d been vivisected. He’d been vivisected by her own parents.
She dropped to her knees, the meal in her hands forgotten. That seemed to startle him back to reality because he began his growling again. This time a lot more defensive and a lot less forgiving.
“Hey, hey, it’s okay, it’s just me see? It’s just me.” She said as she put her hands up in what she hoped was a universal surrender.
He seemed to study her as his head tilted, growl dissipating. In another life, she would’ve called it cute, adorable even, but right now she was trying her hardest not to scream out of instinctual fear. After he seemed to deem her safe enough to his standards, he went back to picking at his chest, the quiet hum returning to the room.
“I don’t know if you can understand me, like, at all, but I can help you with that,” she pointed to his exposed chest. She hadn’t noticed it when she first walked in, but it seemed to be the source of the soft glow in the room. He was sluggishly bleeding what she guessed was the ectoplasm her parents studied.
Again, he responded with empty eyes and a head tilt.
Were her parents right? Was this an unfeeling killer she was kneeled in front of? Of course they were right, how could she, someone who’s never even thought of looking into ghosts before, compete with the two most respected researchers in the field. Hell, they’ve got to have their PhDs mounted somewhere in this lab. She should’ve known better. She should’ve-
A whine echoed through the lab. She looked up from her lap to find the dead’s eyes locked on her. Once he seemed sure that her attention was on him, he gave a slight nod of his head, gesturing to his shredded torso.
“You want me to help?”
Another nod.
“Okay, alright, that’s good- I mean, not good, but, okay”
She scattered away from the injured boy, mentally making a list of materials she would need to stitch him back up. She would need a first aid kit, naturally, she would also need some kind of suture that would actually hold, the Fenton net might. Her mind was racing, trying to figure out how to do the task at hand. The poor kid wasn’t in any shape to move, so how could she tend to him from outside the cage? Unless-
“Okay, for this to work we’re going to have to trust each other okay?” she paused, was she really going through with this? “I’m going to have to be able to trust that you won’t just randomly decide to kill me and make me your next meal,”
At that, he made an adorably disgusted face. Ancients he was definitely growing on her.
“and you’re going to have to trust me to not cut you open or something, deal?” she pressed her pinkie into the cage. She didn’t know why she did it, it was a childish gesture she grew out of ages ago, she was 18 making a deal for her life for crying out loud, not some child promising friendship, to a dead who probably didn’t even understand the gesture nonetheless.
The boy gave a small smile a wrapped his own pinkie around hers.
“Deal”
It was small, if she hadn’t been overanalyzing his every move, every sound, in fear of her life, she would’ve missed it. But she didn’t.
“You can speak?”
Everything in her parents’ research pointed to the fact that ghosts were incapable of complex thinking, they were just echoes of a former person after all. Yet here this boy was, spitting in the face of her parents’ years of research.
A small nod was all she got in return.
“Okay,” she was starting to think her vocabulary was slowly diminishing to just the word ‘okay’.
“Alright, I’m going to go upstairs and look for what I need to fix, that,” she gestured to him, “I brought this up here,” she said as she picked up the overlooked food, “It’s not much, and not very healthy, but it’s all I have at the moment and It’ll do. Feel free to munch on it all you want, I should be back in a minute, my parents went out with some old college friends and shouldn’t be back till tomorrow afternoon.”
He simply watched her ramble on in fascination. She didn’t know where these mother-hen instincts were coming from, but she wasn’t complaining. The kid was nothing short of adorable.
“uh- anyways, you probably want this,” she said as she pushed the plate into the cage.
She watched in mirrored fascination as he sniffed the food and began eating it. That didn’t faze her though, what caught her by surprise was that he very clearly knew how to use the chopsticks provided with the meal, especially with one hand fighting to keep himself from spilling onto the basement floor.
Leaving him to finish the meal, she set to finding the supplies in her mental checklist. Once she had what she needed, she made her way down into the lab, making sure to swipe the keys hanging by the entrance to the lab.
She unceremoniously dropped everything in front of the ghost boy, startling him into a flinch. She winced.
“Sorry.” She sent a sheepish smile to the kid who sent his very own.
This is the moment she’d been dreading. There was no way she would be able to stitch him back up and keep him locked in the cage. She would have to defy her parents’ one rule. Never trust a ghost. But her parents had been wrong before. They said ghosts can’t feel pain, yet the ghost boy wined every time he placed accidental pressure on his wounds. They said ghosts can’t form complex thought, and yet he could, enough to speak to her at least. They said ghosts don’t need to eat, that they sustained themselves through ectoplasmic energy, yet here he was eating, using chopsticks.
“Okay, I’m going to let you out, but remember our deal,” she could still go back, she could still take all evidence of tonight, lock herself in her room and pretend this never happened. But as she looked into his green eyes, she couldn’t help but noticed the pale freckles splashed over his cheeks, noticed the way his hair frizzed from the dampness in the air, noticed the way her parents had left her with this supposed monster. The monster that was now attempting to balance one chopstick over the other.
“I trust you, and you trust me.”
With that, she unlocked the cage and instinctively stepped back.
She was expecting teeth and claws like when she first came across him, or maybe a slow crawl towards her, what she hadn’t expected was a pair of pinprick green eyes latched onto her in fear. He was scared of her.
She slowly made her way towards him, exaggerating her movements as to not startle him.
“You think I can carry you out of there? It’ll be easier for me to work out here rather than in there.”
There was a stiff nod before she carefully picked him up bridal style. He couldn’t weigh more than 50 pounds which she had no idea whether or not that was in a healthy range for him. Careful to not further aggravate his injuries, she put him down gently onto a clear area on the floor.
“Alright, I’m not going to lie, this is going to hurt, a lot, do you want me to talk to you while I do this?”
A nod.
“Okay, is there anything you like, or do you just want me to talk random?”
There was a hesitant look on his face before speaking for the second time that night,
“I like space.”
“Oh, well, I don’t know too much about space, but I do know some neat stories I can tell you!”
That’s how she found herself telling story after story of the few constellations she knew while stitching up a ghost kid she met not even 24 hours ago. A couple of stitches in and her hands began shaking, but the boy didn’t seem to mind. He was lost in her words and the worlds she was building for him. She hadn’t even noticed she was done until she went for the next stitch only to find an unmarred surface.
“and in his anger, Poseidon created Scylla to wreak havoc on seas and the seacoast!” she waved her fingers at him.
“Cetus”
“huh?”
“He created Cetus, not Scylla, she’s a six headed monster.” he cheekily pointed out, sticking his tongue out for good measure.
“Okay mister know-it-all,” she cheekily grinned, “I think it’s time to head to bed.”
She quickly checked her phone to confirm it was half-past 4 in the morning and way too late (early?) to be discussing sea monsters.
Pocketing her phone, she looked up to see a terrified look yet again plastered on the ghost’s face.
“Please don’t put me back in there!” he wheezed, “I promise I won’t cause any trouble and you won’t have to see or hear from me ever again!”
“Hey, breathe, remember what I said about trust?”
He seemed to make a point of nodding at a neck-snapping speed.
“Well, right now, I can’t trust my parents, so come one, you’re staying in my room until further notice!”
“...really?”
It would be hard. Sneaking in extra food for him, keeping him quiet, hell, just explaining to her parents how the ghost in their lab escaped from right under her nose, was going to be tough. And her parents weren’t stupid. Neglectful? Yes. Valued their work over their own daughter? Understatement of the year. But it was worth a try for him.
And sure, she had always said she was fine being on her own, she had even declined her parents’ attempts to get her a kitten when she was 12, arguing that she was better off on her own, a lone wolf of sorts. But now, looking into the eyes of a kid, ancients he really was just a kid, who’s seen much more pain than she could ever imagine, having a little brother didn’t seem half bad.
“Yeah little bro, let’s go”

Arena (Final Rose)
The truth could be cruel. Every student who attended Beacon was exceptional. In almost any other academy, they would be at the top of the rankings. At Beacon, however, things were different. They weren’t facing regular students. They were facing fellow prodigies, and the results could be crushing.
The most recent bout was a case in point.
Concordia Pyrite had been at the top of her junior academy’s combat rankings for three consecutive years before joining Beacon Senior Academy. She had also won a number of smaller tournaments and placed highly in several larger ones. Upon joining Beacon, she had become the leader of her own team, and they had already managed to complete several missions despite being in their first year.
She had lasted less than ten seconds against Pyrrha in the arena.
The bout had been brutal in both its speed and its simplicity. Pyrrha had doubtless heard about her opponent’s accomplishments and had assumed she could not afford to hold back. Her subsequent attacks had been delivered with speed and strength far beyond anything Concordia had ever encountered.
Pyrrha’s first blow had nearly wrenched Concordia’s weapon out of her hands. Pyrrha’s second attack had destroyed anything even remotely resembling a defensive stance Concordia had managed to take. The third blow had ended it.
Lightning dragged in a deep breath as Concordia got to her feet and trudged out of the arena. She would have to talk to the girl later. Being crushed so easily and in such a public manner could not have been good for her confidence, and confidence was essential to being a huntress.
Not far from Concordia, Pyrrha looked almost as stricken. The redhead was a kindly soul, and she would never have attacked so wholeheartedly if she’d realised the gap in pure physical ability, never mind skill, was so large. The last thing Pyrrha wanted to do was humiliate one of her classmates, especially one as amicable as Concordia. Lightning would probably have to speak to Pyrrha as well. Otherwise, the girl would end up holding back in all of her matches, even the ones where holding back would be extremely ill-advised.
She’d also have to check who drew up the matches for this week. Pitting Concordia against Pyrrha was a mistake. At the very least, any fight between them should have been conducted during an informal sparring session, not in the arena with all of their peers watching.
The next match was announced, and Lightning grimaced. She’d definitely have to speak to whoever and come up with this week’s matches. Yang had been placed up against Astra Borealis. The dark-haired girl was an excellent student, but she was definitely geared geared toward support than head-to-head combat. Asking her to fight Yang was like asking a corgi to fight a wolf.
Thankfully, Yang seemed to be familiar with Astra. The blonde pulled her punches just enough to make the fight seem close without making it too obvious that she was holding back. After she won, Astra gave her a grateful smile. The dark-haired girl had noticed what Yang was doing. Yang replied with a smile of her own. Good. As a kid, Yang had always been less inclined to hold back, but she’d definitely matured a bit over the past couple of years. Had things been different, she would have been given her own team to lead, but Ozpin had wanted her on Ruby’s team to act as a sort of second-in-command, particularly while Ruby was still learning the ropes.
The next match was finally a more even affair even if the outcome was unlikely to ever be in doubt.
Nora was an excellent fighter: immensely strong, naturally talented, and absolutely relentless. However, Averia was not a normal opponent. Nora had many gifts, but subtlety was not one of them. Averia had no trouble reading every move the redhead made long before Nora had even finished making them. The battle was brief but furious with Averia simply overwhelming Nora by intercepting and countering all of her attacks before they could be completed.
After the bout, Nora gave Averia a stern glare before laughing and challenging her to a rematch. When it came to her classmates, Nora was not someone who would appreciate her opponent holding back, and Lightning knew she would be approaching Averia later to find out everything she could improve on. Lightning just hoped Averia could be a little less blunt about it. Nora appreciated frankness, but some tact would probably not be amiss.
To the delight of the students, the next match featured two of their instructors. Lightning sighed and leapt out of the stands, her jump easily carrying her to the centre of the arena.
“Seriously?” Vanille asked walking out to the centre of the arena in her lab coat. “Are you trying to make me look bad?”
Lightning shrugged. “It was quicker than walking.”
Vanille made a face. “You know, my luck really sucks this week. I was kind of hoping you’d be curb stomping someone else, but here I am.”
“Your luck is always fantastic. Fighting me means you get to test out all of your new toys.”
“I suppose there is that.” Vanille smiled sunnily and drew her binding rod. “Should we get started?”
Lightning nodded. “We might as well.”
Naturally, that was when half a dozen killer robots burst out of the ground with their weapons already armed and firing. Lightning drew her weapon and flicked it out to one side. Her blade sliced an armour-piercing bullet in half and sent the two halves hurtling into the barrels of the guns wielded by two of the other robots. The weapons exploded, and the robots switched to plasma cannons.
“Show off,” Vanille teased as she leapt toward Lightning with her binding rod. Trails of wire flashed through the air, and Lightning moved forward, twisting through the maze of razor-sharp wires as she continued to evade the onslaught of projectiles from the robots. “You can’t just beat me. You have to do it with style, huh?”
Lightning leaned back as an electrified net flew threw the air. Vanille landed in front of her, and the redhead’s binding rod swept out at her legs. Lightning blocked the attack and lunged forward to drive the hilt of her gun blade into Vanille’s forehead. The fox Faunus ducked, and Lightning’s knee caught her in the chin.
Aura flashed, and one of the robots hurled itself at Lightning as Vanille retreated. A swift slash split the robot in two, and Lightning’s gun blade shifted into its rifle form as a dozen rounds lanced toward Vanille. The other woman managed to block each bullet with one of her wires, and the air was suddenly alive with the angry buzz of drones.
“I’m pretty sure calling in drones from outside the arena is cheating,” Lightning drawled.
“Says the person who can basically see the future while they’re fighting.” Vanille struck a pose. “The only rules are the ones we make ourselves!” She pointed. “Prepare yourself!”
Lightning raised one eyebrow as the drones moved into formation. Interesting. Unless she was mistaken, there was some sort of gravitational lensing effect in place. Ah. That was it. By using gravity to warp space, Vanille was basically collapsing all of the sunlight into an ultra concentrated beam.
“A death ray?” Lightning asked. “Really?”
“You should see how big I can make it with more drones.”
Lightning found herself smiling. If nothing else, fighting Vanille was always interesting. “Well, you might as well stop holding back, or we’ll be here forever.” She allowed a sliver of Saviour’s power to wash over her. “Whatever you want to test. Now is the time.”

“We have a really long way to go,” Jaune muttered as he sank onto his bed.
Pyrrha patted him on the shoulder. “Well, the two professors certainly have more experience than us.”
“I don’t think it’s just experience,” Jaune said. “Professor Dia had multiple death rays, and I’m pretty sure that her attacks would have destroyed the entire arena - no the entire academy - if it weren’t for the forcefields. And don’t even get me started on Professor Farron. I didn’t even know you could cut a miniature black hole in half.”
“I’m more worried about the fact that Professor Dia can make a miniature black hole,” Ren pointed out.
“Oh, what about her solar death ray?” Nora asked. “Especially when she brought in even more drones and used one of her satellites to power it up!”
“Yeah, and then Professor Farron just waded through it like it wasn’t there.” Jaune shuddered. “Saviour is so unfair. It’s like she’s playing a video game with all the cheat codes on.”
Pyrrha chuckled. “Saviour certainly helps, but did you see what she did at the start of the fight? She cut a bullet in half and used it to disable two weapons at the same time. I can assure you that she did that without using Aura. She is just that good.”
“That makes her even scarier,” Jaune pointed out. “Good grief, there are professor-student matches later in the year right? What if I have to fight her?”
“I don’t think they’ll be that cruel,” Ren pointed out. He’d talk to Pyrrha later about her match. It was clear she was still shaken by the outcome. “Most likely they’ll throw someone like Averia or Elsa at her, someone who can actually put up a fight.”
“I say let Averia fight her. I mean… the only way to beat a killer robot is with another killer robot, right?”

Author’s Notes
The arena matches are a standard part of Beacon’s curriculum to get students used to fighting in front of a large audience and under significant pressure. Unfortunately, as elite as all of the students are, there is still a cavernous gap between the very best students and the more average ones.
The professor matches are a way of showing the students what heights they might aspire to. Vanille, of course, doesn’t always use her robots and other gadgets. Against an opponent like Professor Port, she would fight using her binding rod alone. However, Lightning is basically a monster, so Vanille treats her fights against Lightning as a way of testing her newest weapons and inventions. Keep in mind that Vanille is still at least S Tier in combat with only her binding rod. In fact, she might be the best binding rod practitioner currently alive. Unfortunately, she’s up against Lightning who is far, far above S Tier.
There are also professor-student matches. Students are not expected to win, but they are expected to do their best. Typically, only the best students are selected. Luckily for Jaune, he doesn’t have to worry about that. Pyrrha, though, draws the short straw since her match is against Lightning.

619: "Running Wild! Invincible General Franky!"
Tumblr media
Pirate King, eh?
You know what? I’m almost apprehensive to leave Punk Hazard behind.
It was such a fun arc and ticked lots of my personal boxes (Caesar is absolutely awful and a treasure of a villain, I have decided). This apprehension is only because I don’t know what’s coming next. Judging by the plot threads Oda has set up so far, it’s fingers crossed I’ll enjoy Dressrosa as much as Punk Hazard.
This episode seemed to be split in two: the fond farewell to the arc and looking forward to the next. In one particular scene, both merged very effectively.
And Now, We Wait.
Tumblr media
The Strawhats waiting for Usopp, Chopper and Brook was definitely a tying up of loose ends. The final piece of the puzzle of Punk Hazard is complete. Now, they only need to escape.
I love this shot. While the others were clambering onto Law’s truck, desperate to escape the lab caving in about them, Luffy and the other Strawhats calmly sat facing the door, unwilling to give up hope until all hope was lost. Because Luffy waited, they all stood by him and did the same. ;_;
The Strawhats definitely have Usopp to thank for guiding Chopper and Brook to safety. “50 meters to go! The Gate is closing. Slide in!” The gas really was gaining at that point but Brook kept everyone’s spirits up. “It’s only over when you give up.”
Chopper, Mocha and the G5 guys burst through first, followed by a very narrow scrape through by Brook and (frozen) Kinemon! Luffy was relieved. You could see the sweat beads on his forehead. But he never gave up hope and his faith in his crew paid off. (But it always helps to have someone like Usopp around, so credit where it is due.)
Another clue that the Strawhats might actually capture Caesar is that Usopp retrieved the cuffs from the Minions. They were so grateful for what Usopp had done for them that they fought to hand over their cuffs.
The only slightly bad thing was that Brook accidentally let slip that Kinemon had been caught by the gas right in front of his kid.
Don’t think Momonosuke will be happy his dad is dead.
Is he dead, though? The other minions and G5 guys were left behind but why would Brook bother to bring Kinemon, if he couldn’t be revived? Unless it’ll be an honourable samurai funeral situation... ;_;
Actual Knife Energy
Tumblr media
Meanwhile, outside at the Sunny, the Mega Mecha Air Battle between Franky and the Baby 5/Buffalo team was definitely looking to the future (specifically, the future battles and rivalries between Doflamingo and the Strawhat pirates).
As Baby 5 and Buffalo retreated from Franky’s firestorm of laser bullets, they hovered at a safe distance and had a “wtf is that?” moment. An old kung-fu movie style sequence of increasing close ups followed (I laughed). Then, without warning, Franky unleashed a General Left.
Baby 5 and Buffalo were sent reeling again. It was interesting they recognised Franky’s “pacifista” weapons straight away, and that they briefly considered Franky was one of Caesar’s inventions before realising Caesar has no interest in “human” weapons. I guess Caesar’s more a biochem kind of guy.
Well, whatever Franky was, Baby 5 said, if it wanted a fight...
She fired a ton of bullets in Franky’s general direction and thought she’d got him until the smoke cleared and a flash of glowing yellow cyborg eyes said, “Nope. Not even close.”
Then Franky injected a bit of humour into the firefight. Dat General Shield that was way too small. Dat Boomerang! xD
His dumb delaying tactics annoyed Baby 5 into changing form. Now, I am guessing Baby 5 and Buffalo have eaten those types of fruits that let you transform into objects (kind of the opposite of Funkfreed). Would those be Zoan fruits, or something else?
At any rate, their teamwork is pretty good. Buffalo knows how to support Baby 5 and set up her attacks. She transformed into a blade first (Espada Girl), then a missile (Missile Girl). It’s just a shame they’re up against Franky because he is armed to the teeth. Literally. Like, I would not be surprised if Franky has weaponised his teeth.
What probably threw Baby 5 and Buffalo was when they accused Franky of not letting them recover Caesar. Buffalo reminded Baby 5 that Doflamingo said “immediately” regarding Caesar’s recovery. (That itself is interesting. It shows Doflamingo’s orders are not to be defied.) Baby 5 transformed into a missile and yelled, “We’ll take Caesar with us!” and Franky was like, “Wtf are you talking about Caesar?”
I had an “uh oh” moment. Franky just wants to defend Sunny. Baby 5 and Buffalo want to recover Caesar. There is a tiny danger that all three will have a chat and agree to let everyone get what they want with no further conflict. Then Caesar will have escaped. Franky knows what Caesar did to the Strawhats, so I don’t think it’ll happen. But there is always a chance!
And speaking of Caesar...
The Centre of Alllllll the Trouble
Tumblr media
I wonder if this guy knows just how much trouble he’s caused? I wonder if he knows his knowledge alone can turn the OPverse upside down? That Doflamingo sent two members of his team to retrieve him and was willing to sacrifice Monet and Vergo to do so makes it blindingly obvious.
Considering how egotistical Caesar is, he probably knows fine well and absolutely loves it.
Well, I say that. As of 619, he has no idea Doflamingo has sent anyone to rescue him. He’s currently flat out and convinced he’s going to die.
But, Caesar cannot stop being Caesar. He felt about in his coat pockets, found Smoker’s heart in a box and decided to enact some scorched earth, nuclear revenge. I mean, if he’s gonna die, right?
The scary thing about Caesar is the sheer glee he feels whenever he does something awful. “I’ll take Smoker to hell with me!” he whispered. “It’s a shame I can’t watch him die. He’ll open his eyes, vomit blood and suffocate in no time. I’m excited just imagining it!”
Okay, Caesar. You do you.
He’s also the kind of guy who keeps shanks on his person. Holding it above the heart, he grinned and said, “It’ll cause fear and panic in all those he’s with.”
That’s Caesar in a nutshell. He develops biochem weapons. He’s a serial killer. He loves causing fear and panic. Punk Hazard really was a paradise for him and he manipulated everyone else around him into believing it too.
I don’t think Smoker will die. Mostly because Law is around and he might be able to fix any heart-stabbin’ antics with his Room Plus Medical Powers.
Still, I wonder what will be next for Caesar? If he goes back to Doflamingo, it’ll be business as usual, I guess. If Luffy and Law succeed... what the hell will they do with him? Luffy hates him. Will Law take him on?
I have no idea. It could go any way, really. I suppose it depends on how devoted Caesar is to Doflamingo. Whether Caesar is willing to go down with Doflamingo (I’m assuming this’ll happen because Doflamingo is a villain and Whole Cake Island comes after Dressrosa.)
RIP, Monet and Vergo
Tumblr media
This sequence of scenes was very cool. Lots of beautiful art too.  The most interesting thing here was Monet and Vergo’s devotion to Doflamingo. That they were willing to die to help accomplish his goals. Doflamingo must either have some hellish power, hellish charisma or a hellish combination of both.
The action briefly cut to Dressrosa, where Doflamingo was taking a call from Monet. He couldn’t believe she was alive. (Neither could I. How she recovered from being halved is still a mystery.) She told him Vergo had been beaten. Caesar too. Doflamingo said not to worry. Baby 5 and Buffalo had been sent to retrieve Caesar.
Notice the lack of “and also retrieve you and Vergo.” Monet did notice... and she was fine with it.
“Oh, that’s good to hear,” she said.
Doflamingo apologised. “It’s all because of my misjudgement. I feel bad for you all but I want to make sure to wipe out all those squirts now.”
Translated: I feel bad that you and Vergo are gonna die but I need this thing done.
He wanted Monet to push Caesar’s Big Red Button, the Big Damned Bomb that was also responsible for leveling Punk Hazard. “With just the push of a button, there will be only one survivor on that island and that is Caesar.”
Jeez. That’s harsh. He just straight up told her.
“You don’t have to say anything, Joker,” Monet answered. “I was just going to do that, anyway. I’m right in front of the triggering device. The explosion will ruin the tanker. You’re gonna lose a tanker. Is that okay?”
“I need you to perish along with everything else.”
“Yes, Young Master.”
What the actual? Monet, this is your LIFE and you are worried about this guy’s TANKER? Doflamingo has crazy control over these people. The scariest thing is that it is not just fear. These people admire him as much as the Strawhats admire Luffy.
And the weirdest thing? Doflamingo seems to want to claim the Pirate King title.
That’s only Monet’s word, but why would she lie about something like that?
I always thought Doflamingo was dismissive about all the Old/New Era stuff. Now I’m wondering what his deal is.
Doflamingo at least had the grace to call Vergo for one last chat. Vergo was still in bits strung along the railing (it’s kinda gruesome, when you think about it.) He apologised to Vergo, said he had known him for the longest time and thanked him for all his work. Vergo smiled (in fractions). Like Monet, he was totally fine about dying, as long as Doflamingo said the right words.
Then, just before the island went KABOOM, Toei inserted a quick series of flashbacks. The G5 guys who sacrificed themselves with the thumbs up, the kids, the minions, Vergo, Monet, all the Strawhats, Law, Smoker, Tashigi, even Doflamingo perched on his window seat in Dressrosa pinching the bridge of his nose like, “Gawd this was a disaster...”
Now I think about it, it really was. Punk Hazard was a proper death-fest. Caesar gleefully murdered minions left, right and centre, he experimented on kids and nuked an entire island. Doflamingo is asking people to die for him. G5s sacrificed themselves. Though no one on the level of Whitebeard and Ace died, a lot of people bit the big one on Punk Hazard and it was worse in a way because at least in Marineford, they were all fighting for something. In Punk Hazard, people just died because Caesar/Doflamingo’s business.
Everyone’s fighting to survive right now.
Except Luffy. He’s riding a truck through a rapidly collapsing tunnel.
That’s his idea of a great day out.
Tumblr media
Bye, Punk Hazard! It’s been an absolute pleasure.

AY2019/2020 Y1S1 Module Review
AY2019/2020 year 1 semester 1 review
Started school around august after orientation camp in july, and had to study after doing nothing for months after a levels and finally had the taste of the rigour of this major.. semester 1 went by too quickly..
Modules taken this semester:
CS1010S
MA1101R
MA1521
BT1101
GER1000
CS1010S Programming Methodology (Python)
Prof: Ben Leong
Exam Dates: 2 Oct (Midterm) / 16 Nov (Practical Exam) / 27 Nov (Finals)
Weightage:
Coursemology – 25% (25%)
Participation – 5% (5%)
Midterm test – 15% (-)
Practical exam – 15% (20%)
Final assessment – 40% (50%)
(those in brackets are for those taking alternative final)
S in CS1010S is for science students, most students are either science students (DSA/ Life Science plenty) or BZA students.
Overall this module easily had the highest workload compared to other modules, having to rush missions every week, complete tutorials (this is pretty standard duh) and lecture trainings before deadlines for bonus points on a gamified platform. One could sit at their table wracking their brains for the whole day and still not be able to come up with a feasible code, or have their codes stuck with some bugs and not knowing how to continue. Really, without the help from fellow friends this module would be hard to get through. Luckily my TA was kind (and patient!) enough to explain such that my brain could get it. Ended up having to IP this module sadly… This module really requires your wholehearted devotion and really tests your patience i must say, especially for people who are not too intellectually inclined (aka me)..
They introduced a new scheme this semester aka Alternative Final, meaning you get to retake your midterm and finals by tabao-ing it into the next sem except you do your finals during the recess week instead of the finals, kinda like a half-retaking a module? Your grades for finals are IP-ed (in progress) rather than letter grades and the finals and midterms will be accounted for in the following half a semester albeit under different weightage components.
They said its a introductory module, but …………..
This year’s practical exam was particularly hard i think i had friends (even the zai ones) getting single digit marks… banked full in on the Method of Life question (Q5) of finals which is a giveaway question asking you how you can apply the concepts to other parts of your life and your main take-aways from taking this module (filled up the whole page and got full marks for it 4m) without this question i would have failed the paper..
Now i have to work hard the next sem… its kinda sad for us BZA students because CS1010S is a prerequisite for those wanting to take BT2101 and CS2030/2040 modules in the following semester (y1s2). Future students (esp BZA) please take the advice to consider this when deciding whether to IP…. because guess who didnt and regretted not thinking deeper…..
Ah one more thing to take note is the weightage is quite different for those IP/ alternative final people, theres higher weightage for the papers :_D
Ben Leong is a pretty good lecturer, hes solid in delivering concepts except my brain may be a little too slow for him.. Theres also lecture videos online that you can refer to and thousands of papers (with solutions!!) waiting for you to do.. something uncommon for many modules i heard? also, you get to see your final (scanned) paper through a website, in ben leong’s words “how cool is that?” he also uploads the mark scheme for your reference which is pretty cool imo. He’s a very interesting lecturer.
MA1521 Calculus for Computing
Prof: Leung Pui Fai
Exams: No midterms, just an online quiz (4 questions, most get full marks for), and the finals
Weightage: cant really rmb the weightage but i think its 40-60? i think tutorial attendance isnt graded..
They said this was just a repeat of H2 maths with more stuffs well boy i must say this wasnt as easy as they said.. okay maybe for me, ive always struggled with maths for a really long time. Surprisingly got a B for H2 Maths, i got a B3 for O levels really the blemish in my results. Got a B- for this module. Many people will say this is an easy module, you can trust them a little different in my shoes i guess. I didnt turn up for lectures for the half part of the semester since he talks a bit too slowly so i just watch the webcast sped up. But being a procrastinator i’m really behind on webcasts by the time the exams came.. i think i spent too much time on CS1010S and its still not enough.. if you dont have the discipline to watch them religiously at home, i would suggest you go for the lecture even though he may talk abit slowly but it forces you to not miss out on them. I dont really had the time (is it i wonder?) to do the tutorials either so i was also behind on them.. most of the time i just sat for tutorials and took the answers down to only work on them many weeks later (much regrets) so i didnt really understood what was going on as the TA went through. please dont be like me… the recess week was for sure not enough to revise/ learn all the content for all your mods for both midterms/finals so please dont be lazy like me…. this is the suffering i brought upon myself TT
Overall i think. it is not that hard a mod if you do your work consistently.. things got a little confusing towards the end i heard they dropped a whole chapter this semester glad they did.
MA1101R Linear Algebra I
Prof: Wang Fei
Weightage:
Finals (28 Nov, 2h)— 60%.
Mid-term test (4 Oct, 2h)— 20%.
3 homework assignments (4% per assignment) — 12%.
An in-class Lab (MATLAB) quiz — 8%.
This was one of my most hardest period in my life and i say this on PERIODT. As if maths wasnt tough enough, this will really declare a survival of the fittest among your remaining brain cells. Friends told me maths came into their dreams… pls extinguish my soul. You must be thinking i am crazy for wanting to take 2 math mods in a sem right? ?
Yeahh no one really does that but it was my idea because i didnt want to do maths together with all the core core mods (BT and CS) next sem so i decided ah i should just get maths over and done with ( hAH real joke bc i couldnt clear CS1010S and i cant take 2k level mods for BT and CS and unlocked clown outfit because theres one more ST2334 core mod that involves probability and stats so much for thinking i will be over and done with for dealing with maths– someone tell me why did i choose this major again?)
Somehow along the way i realised the bell curve for this was surprisingly high i think those who chose this mod intend to delve even deeper in mathematics, mayhaps i joined the wrong major. The R in MA1101R actually stands for rigorous i didnt realise until my friend read the fine prints in the SOC Course Curriculum for BZA or sumn. Pure hell. There are 3 homework assignments (graded mind you) and most of the students get around 50++/60 i think i was the one of the rare few who flunked quite badly and always eyeballed by my TA (who is a prof for some 3k or 4k level maths, not for this mod though). I approached him for consults and for help and he was nice enough to sit me down and explain slowly. He’s pretty good at explaining slowly although he’s pretty fast in class (and most of the semester i had close to ZERO idea what was going on in class for pretty much most of the mods). Shockingly managed to pull out a C from my butt. The intellect of the students are no joke.. Homework assignments are every 3 weeks starting week 6 i think (so week 6, 9, 12) and i think are there to make sure you catch up with the work.
Oh lectures-wise, i sat for ½ of his classes, i really absorb almost nothing.. the rest of the lecture hall seem to get it though or so it seems. so i stopped attending my own lectures to watch the webcast for Prof Victor Tan too. His webcasts/lectures are really popular and it really owe it to his teaching, apparently he taught Wang Fei before and of course had over ten more years of experience. WF’s lecture turn-outs are comparatively less compared to VT. And on panopto (webcast platform) i think it was almost always 360++ views for VT as compared to a 80++/ was it 30++ for WF if i recall correctly. VT slides are also more concise and simple to understand where as WF’s ones are similar to the textbook. You are also required to purchase a textbook for this module costs around $20 from the co-op store in science and i urge you to purchase it asap when the profs announce they are made available bc they run oos quite fast.. the tutorial questions are from the textbook and the textbook is very simple and straightforward and put together by some of the lecturers/profs in school.
BT1101 Introduction to Business Analytics
Prof: Dr Sharon Tan, Desmond Ong
Weightage:
1. Online Quiz & Datacamp Assignments — 7%
Tutorial 1-4 — 8%
Tutorial 5 onwards — 15%
In-class Assessment (Written) — 10%
Practical Assessment — 20%
Final Assessment — 40%
In class assessment is held 2ish weeks after your midterms week so its kinda like your midterms?
Mm i would say this module is the most ?? its hard to put in words but if you read up the confessions page (NUSwhispers) regularly you would see many complaints that the mod is structured not as neatly as CS1010S its quite here and there everywhere and personal opinion, sometimes i dont know what i am supposed to learn but i guess its like that? The profs seem to value not wanting to spoonfeed and us learning on our own and stuff like that. I heard the mod was much harder in previous years and they simplified it a lot compared to in the past (which i really thank god) but its still a bit ?? They split it into two halves, first half of the sem is taught by Dr ST (Descriptive Analytics) and the next half by DO (Prescriptive and Predictive Analytics).
There are online videos to be watched every week even though you get lectures once every 2 weeks when Dr ST teaches and tutorials to be submitted to your TAs that are graded only after about 6/7 weeks. They leave comments (½ sentences someitmes shorter) and your marks received and thats about all so you dont really know where you went wrong since they are not marked paper and pen way. The tutorials are coding exercises for questions using the R language. They also used Datacamp to drill some of the basics of R for a headstart. Her workshop style lectures are a lot of on the spot learning how to code and stuff which i lag behind a bit because she goes a bit fast in order to cover everything. We learn new content via the online videos that we have to watch every week and theres quizzes for them too weekly iirc.
The next half by DO had no online videos (great!! and no quizzes!!) but weekly lectures and graded tutorials are due every 2 weeks(!!). There are still weekly tutorials but its only graded for every 2nd one, wow this saved me a lot of time phew. I didnt get to do the tutorials for those that are not graded but read through the questions so that i get a gist of whats going on, and somehow i really dont have the time to do it? CS1010S really absorbed a large chunk of my time cries. Finals was a oK it was not that bad i think. There are 20 MCQs and then about 4 structured questions? Closed-book with 1 A4 sheet cheatsheet.
Oh and the bad part about the tutorials are the tutors wont provide you with the model answers/codes so you’re really just on your own. You either get it or nah. :_D
GER1000 Quantitative Reasoning
Weightage:
1. Tutorial — 10%
2. 10 Weekly Quizzes — 20%
3. Project —35% (Presentation 10%, Final Report 25%)
4. Finals (28 MCQs, 2h) — 35%
No lectures so no profs, just weekly online videos and quizzes.
Tutorials are every odd/even weeks depending on the slot you chose.
Groups are arranged by the TAs beforehand.
This was pre-allocated for us so (grits teeth). Honestly a waste of time. One of the mods i neglected till the end to focus on other mods (which was worth it). The workload was manageable, of course (if not how to neglect). Every 2 week you meet together wiht your groupmates to discuss tutorial questions (each group will discuss 1 qn) and every tutorial class ended about 30min earlier. Nearing the end theres a group project report and slides to be done. Report is in the form of QnA so you just answer the questions and slides/ presentation is going through an article of a topic you chose (theres about 10) and you analyse the QR part of it what is good what can be better, etc. Theres also a bit of the stats part with probability and stuff but its a OK. Bell curve steep for finals (40 MCQ, 2h) but most finished in 1h and left the hall, i was one of the few who stayed till the end even though i was just staring at the paper into the depths of my soul for reasons unknown) It’s a lot about experiments not really the scientific/ calculations part of it but understanding about coming up with experiments, the pros and cons of carrying things out a certain way in loose terms something like the art of crafting experiments? makes you think a bit deeper how and what people think and not so dry i guess.
Epilogue
i guess thats a wrap–new semester starts soon :( i think this might be the first module/semester review tumblr blog but i hope this can be of help to anyone, to anyone at all. the owner of many of similar review blogs get really stellar results which i may be too out of league from so i hope this brings comforts to those who are doing not so well and encourage them because im not any different we exist, and we’ll survive.

Note
1-50 for the OC asks boi do 'em all
1. Your first OC ever?
FUCKIN MEI.
Tumblr media
Cuz I was a weaboo piece of shit once.
2. Do you have a personal favourite among your OCs?
Hazel and Wendy. My beautiful children. Hazel is a demigirl of the dystopian future and Wendy is a trans female elf of the same world Both do magic and alchemy. They’re gonna be girlfriends.
3. Have you ever adopted a character or gotten a character from someone else?
I mean the time twins are made with the help of my friend Timmi
4. A character you rarely talk about?
That’d be Kuro.
Tumblr media
Made her back in 2012. She is a shinigami and she is a total mary sue.
5. If you could make only one of your OCs popular/known, who would it be?
Either of the time twins, Wendy or Mr. Wicca. I love those four so much….
6. Two OCs of yours that look alike despite not being related?
Not really. I have two sets of twins and the others don’t look alike.
7. Are your OCs part of any story or stories?
Yes. Kuro was part of the D. Gray-Man series. The time twins are part of this web comic idea called Eereree. Blue Topaz is of course my gem for Steven Universe.
8. Do you RP as any of your OCs? If you do, introduce one of your RP OCs
I don’t but here’s Wendy and Hazel
Wendy: Good evening, chaps. My name’s Wendy. I currently am the assistant of Mr. Wicca. Love to stay and chat, but Mr. Wicca has me on some errands currently
Hazel: Evening, all. Hazel’s the name, alchemy’s the game. I… also really don’t have a lotta time. I’ve got a kingdom to rule after all because, of course, my brother won’t help me. He’s a pain in the ass, but I love ‘im anyway.
9. Would you ever be willing to give any of your OCs to someone else?
LITERALLY TAKE KURO AWAY.
10. Introduce an OC with a complicated design?
I mean… None are super like hard… Mostly Wendy is hard because she has vitilligo, and I can never remember which pattern I used for her.
11. Is there any OC of yours you could describe as a “sunshine”?
Maybe Mr. Wicca. He’s always excited about magic but idk he has his points.
12. Name an OC that isn’t yours but who you like a lot
I love the other eereree characters honestly.
 13. Do you have any troublemaker OCs?
Mr. Wicca is mischievous as fuck. He uses his elixirs to screw with people.
14. Introduce an OC with a tragic backstory
I have Kuro’s backstory up because I’m on my Deviantart page for this crap.
I wrote this way back when so yeah….
Long ago when the world was created, small pieces of shiny fragments called innocence were scattered around the world after the great flood. One in particular was called the Heart… When people discovered this “Heart” it was somehow split into two halves- two sisters with large, white wings. Adam and Eve cared for these two…. until the day the Earl came. He stole half the heart. This part of the Heart *aka Dark (obviously)* was raised to become an enemy towards the human race. After about 200 years of being raised, the kidnapped part of the heart had become so sick and twisted with evil, that her wings turned an ominous black. Her sister, on the other hand, had learned how to survive on her own. She worked in a town called Mater building dolls, playing with the children, and helping those in need. *holy beep what a do gooder* Her wings may have stayed white, but they seemed to glow even whiter with every good deed she did.Soon, after about 400 AD, the two were locked in a supreme battle. The pure side thought her sister had betrayed the human race, but in reality she was only kidnapped and manipulated to kill. (NOTE: The Earl taught her that the human race was a foul thing, and it needed to die off)) From what the Pure girl had said, the Dark girl had turned on her “father” and killed him. Or so she thought…Now, in the 21st century the Earl is back and even stronger than before. The two girls have been doing all they can to keep him from sending the universe into utter chaos and causing the complete destruction of the human race…
15. Do you like to talk about your OCs with other people?
Yes! @dreamxng-forever and I constantly crack jokes about our eereree characters. Her princess is in love with the time prince, but she forgets he is like…. SUUUUPER fucking gay. “Is it hot in here or is it just you.”“Oh, Sar, uh. That’s just our kingdom’s natural climate. You see, we have lava falls…”
“Ohhh… Okay…. SO IS IT HOT IN HERE OR IS IT JUST-”
16. Which one of your OCs would be the best at biology (school subject)?
Definitely Wendy or Mr. Wicca.
17. Any OC OTPs?
Hazel and Wendy all the way. They’re girlfriends maybe. Mr. Wicca also would be nothing without Wendy. They’re very close friends.
18. Any OC crackships?
  Not really????
19. Introduce an OC that means a lot to you (and explain why)
Chloe Lockwood. I created her in like sixth grade. First OC. I projected a lot onto her. Even though we was good at a lot in school, she was bullied a lot. She felt alone, but she had one really good friend who cared about her a lot. It’s something I went through when I was in elementary school.
20. Do any of your OCs sing? If they sing, care to share more details  (headcanon voice, what kind of songs they like etc)?
Hazel and Hades sing a lot together. Hazel sounds a bit like a higher pitch Meg from Hercules. Hades has my voice essentially. Both are basically parts of me in a sense of like… idk. everything. Hazel is my more like…. Confident, get-shit-done side and she doesn’t take a lotta shit. Hades is more my sensitive side. He was affected differently by what the two went through I guess.
21. Your most artistic OC
Wendy. She draws flora and fauna when not in the lab. She probably owns an etsy or something.
22. Is there any OC of yours people tend to mischaracterize? If yes, how?
Hazel- She isn’t COMPLETELY stone cold and Hades really isn’t just a shy ball. Hazel can be vulnerable but doesn’t like it a lot. Hades really can fight. He’s just scared to. He isn’t totally helpless. Mr. Wicca is not good and pure. He is actually a terrible person, but Wendy keeps him under control.
23. Introduce OC that has changed from your first idea concerning what the character would be like?
Hazel started out as having my dead name, much more feminine, and likes dresses. Now, she has some form of pixie cut or something punky, REFUSES to wear something to feminine because of her mother, and is also Filipino rather than white. Hades also became Filipino. Or they might be Japanese. Idk.
 24. If you could meet one OC of yours, who would it be and why?
I’d like to meet the time twins. They’re both parts of my personality. Idk.
25. The OC that resembles you the most (same hobby, height, shared like/dislike for something etc?)
The time twins, like I said lmao. Mostly the three of us share personality traits and interests.
26. Have you ever had to change your OC’s design or something else about them against your will?
Not really?????
27. Any OCs that were inspired by a certain song?
Nope.
28. Your most dangerous OC?
Likely Kuro. Again, she is kinda a mary sue in a way. Although, Hazel IS trained in combat so idk. Also Mr. Wicca straight up has magic. But probably Kuro.
29. Which one of your OCs would go investigate an abandoned house at night without telling anyone they’re going?
Mr. Wicca. He lives in a creepy haunted cabin already.
30. Which one of your OCs would most likely have a secret stuffed animal collection?
Well Hades has a not-so-secret one. Hazel might have one.
31. Pick one OC of yours and explain what their tumblr blog would be like (what they reblog, layout, anything really)
Okay so Wendy would have like this gorgeous like elven/fae/magic aesthetic blog filled with flowers, potions, and pretty stuff. You can SMELL the lavender off her blog.
32. Which one of your OCs would be the most suitable horror game protagonist and why?
The time twins. Think about it- rich kids probably in a super haunted mansion. They have to solve mysteries left behind by their dead parents? Idk
33. Your shyest OC?
Mei. She doesn’t like speaking. Crippling social anxiety.
34. Do you have any twin characters?
The time twins and Mei/Yamiyo.
35. Any sibling characters?
Above answer.
36. Do you have OC pairs where the other part belongs to someone else (siblings, lovers, friends etc)?
I mean. Most of Eereree are friends so. The main job of my OCs in an ever-changing future is to go back in time and be like “whatever you just did…. it fucked this shit up. Fix it”
37. Introduce an OC who is not quite human
I have already. Kuro and Wendy. The twins LOOK non-human, but they are. They’re just like horribly experimented on. Well, and I also briefly mentioned Blue Topaz. She came out all skinny and weird. She has a scythe as her gem weapon. She’s blue I like her.
38. Which one of your OCs would be the best dancer?
Mr. Wicca loves to waltz. Blue Topaz because of fusion.
39. Introduce any character you want
I mean…. Okay.
Mr. Wicca has been practicing magic for as long as he can remember. He’s about 500 years old and keeps himself young with necromancy. His assistant, Wendy, is an elf who is a few hundred years old. Both work together create potions and elixirs that they give to the time twins to sell. Mr. Wicca dyes his hair lavender to keep out any silver while Wendy dyes hers blue for fun. Mr. Wicca wouldn’t be anywhere without Wendy, and he sees her like the little sister he never had.
40. Any fond memories linked to your characters? Feel free to share!
Just all the head canons between my eereree twins and @dreamxng-forever ‘s eereree twins.
41. Has anyone drawn fanart of your OCs? If yes, maybe show a picture or two here (remember sources & permissions!)
NO. OH MY GOD I’D LOVE FOR THAT TO BE A THING.
42. Which one of your OCs would be the most interested in Greek gods?
The Time Twins.
 43. Do you have any certain type when you create your OCs? Do you tend to favour some certain traits or looks? It’s time to confess
Gay. Probably not human.
44. Something you like about your OCs in general
They’re all very unique.
45. A character you no longer use?
Kuro, Mei, Yamiyo, and Chloe.
46. Has anyone ever told you that you treat your OCs badly?
Oh, yes.
47. Has anyone ever (friendly) claimed any of your OCs as their child?
No. I don’t usually talk about my OCs
 48. OC who is a perfect cinnamon roll, too good for this world, too pure
No. They’re all garbage people.
49. Which one of your OCs would most likely enjoy memes
Hades fuckin ADORES memes.
50. Give me the good ol’ OC talk here. Talk about anything you wantIf you want, you can tag your ask answers with #yetanotherOCmeme so I can check them out too `v´9
have a lot of diversity in my characters and I’m proud of myself for not going into like default for them
Hazel: Demigirl or maybe genderfluid. Idk. She uses She or they. Panromantic demisexual, polyamorous. Either Filipino or Japanese. Main ruler of the Clockwork Kingdom. She and her brother are people who survived through abuse. Super toned
Hades:  Cis graysexual/homoromantic boi. Social anxiety despite having to do public speaking every day. SUUUUPER bad ADD/ADHD. Takes potions for it because “medication is a social construct” he says. Chubby boi is trying to work out.
Wendy: Trans MTF lesbian. black and has vitiligo. Insomniac and recovering from some eating issues.
Mr. “Wics” Wicca: Albino. He’s not sure what he is. “I like what I like. I don’t know what the bloody hell I am” loves Wendy more than anything. She’s like his little sister and is very protective of her, even though she is a capable young lady. “Wics” is the nickname Wendy gives him to annoy him.
