#if rescue bots has 10000 mfs doing overly serious media analysis of it im one of them

I'm thinking too many thoughts about Rescue Bots once again. Namely, about how humans in that show are quite literally funky little alien symbiotes to the bots in a way that is simultaneously kinda sweet and very, very weird.
Cybertronian cabs and cockpits have working controls. You can step on the gas and drive a bot around without them having to perform the action theirself. It works in their altmode, of course, we've seen bits and pieces of this in other shows, especially Prime ("I will handle the driving, agent Fowler," implying Fowler could totally drive op if he allowed it, but he's politely asking him not to), but with Rescue Bots we see it also seems to work in robot mode. We get multiple shots on multiple occasions of the Burnses in their bots' cockpits, hands on the controls while their bots handle the situation outside. By all means it seems like they're piloting them Ratatouille style.
What is a human to a transformer but a squishy, alien minicon with cordyceps tendencies?
