I have personal beef with a very specific subsection of writing Instagram, and it’s that “advice” part.

Dude just because I can’t answer what my MC has in his pockets during the story doesn’t mean he isn’t fleshed out enough, or should be cut bc he’s “underdeveloped.”

ITS SO DUMB why have people become so obsessed with such tiny details “making you a writer” or not. Your characters have more to them than what’s in their fuckinggg pockkkettt augghhhhhh.
