Screen
Pairing: Josh Dun x Reader
Warnings: Death of a family member & related conversations, angst
Word Count: 2178
Request: Hiiiiiii, would you mind writing a Josh x reader inspired by screen, where the reader just got really bad news, like a family member dying or something, and tries to hide the pain, but Josh sees through their facade? Mostly fluff? Thanks!💕💕 -@gaiatheroyalrabbit
Author’s Note: Another request to hopefully take your mind off of prove me wrong for a little. I hope you enjoy it :) (source)

“There’s something I have to tell you, Y/N.”
You didn’t like your mom’s tone of voice when she said it. She was speaking quieter than normal, a clear indication that what she was about to say was inevitably going to upset you in some way or another. Already bracing yourself for the worst, you set down the spoon you had been mixing with and turned to lean your back against the counter.
“What’s going on?” you asked. Your mind was already racing with possibilities.
“Your cousin Sam was involved in a car accident yesterday. He was rushed into emergency surgery, but his injuries were too bad and he didn’t make it.”
Your hand flew back to grip the counter, keeping your shaky legs steady. The information hadn’t fully processed in your mind yet, but your stomach was already twisting so bad that you thought you might puke straight into the sink. You didn’t have the chance to see your cousins often because of busy schedules, but when you did get together you were always laughing and enjoying one another’s company. You and Sam had always been particularly close because of your similarity in age. Now that he was gone, something felt off in the world.
“He died?”
“Yes. Your aunt called me earlier today to let me know.”
“Thanks for letting me know, Mom.”
“Of course. Do you need anything from me, sweetheart?”
“I think I’ll be ok. Josh should be getting home from his meetings soon and he’ll be able to take care of me. Should I start looking at plane tickets home?”
“Not yet. It won’t be long until a funeral is planned and you can schedule around that. Just focus on taking care of yourself right now. I know this is hard.”
“I will,” you said, already beginning to feel the lump that was forming in your throat. “You should do that, too.”
“I am. Your dad and I are going over to see your aunt and uncle later today.”
“Can you let them know I’ll be keeping them in my thoughts?”
“Of course. Call me if you need anything, ok?”
“Ok, Mom.”
“I love you.”
“Love you too.”
You slowly pulled the phone away from your ear and set it on the counter, never letting your eyes leave the spot on the floor that they were glued to. Your entire chest felt hollow, void of any emotion other than shock. Tears prickled at the corners of your eyes, but you simply wiped them away and turned back to the food you had been making for dinner. There would be time for crying later, when Josh was there to hold you close and calm your shaking body.
The music you had turned on to help distract yourself was still playing when Josh walked through the door, carrying a number of folders in his arms. His mouth was drawn in a tight line, the polar opposite of what it usually was when he returned home after a long day. You waited in the kitchen, not wanting to overwhelm him by demanding his attention the moment he walked in the door.
“Hi, love,” he said once his shoes were off and he had joined you in the kitchen.
You smiled as he wrapped an arm around your waist and pulled you into his side, pressing a gentle kiss to your lips. His fingers rubbed small circles into your hip.
“Hi. How were your meetings?”
Josh sighed and tilted his head so that it was resting on top of yours. “Terrible. Tyler and I had to fight with management practically the entire time because they weren’t doing what we asked them to. Tyler was more upset than I was, but seeing him that angry affected me too. I’m just glad to be home and relax and not have to worry about anything for awhile.”
You bit down on your lip and nodded, keeping your eyes away from Josh’s. After hearing about his hard day, there was no way you were going to dump all the stuff about your cousin on him. He just wanted to have a relaxing night, so that’s what you would give him.
“Dinner smells delicious, by the way.”
“Thanks,” you smiled, giving the bowl in front of you one final stir. “It should be ready in an hour or so, once I get it in the oven.”
“Do you need help with anything?”
“Nope. Why don’t you grab a drink and sit on the couch for awhile? I’ll join you once the food is ready.”
“Alright, let me know if you need anything.”
Josh gave you another kiss before grabbing something to drink from the fridge and walking off to the living room. Once he was gone, you stopped and leaned forward onto the counter, burying your face into your hands. Seeing Josh had brought on a fresh wave of emotions about your family, but you were determined not to let him see, at least for now. Maybe you would be able to talk to him later tonight, once the stress of the day was no longer the first thing on his mind.
You finished up dinner and stuck it in the oven, taking the time to regulate your breathing and keep the tears out of your eyes. Once everything was cleaned or cooking, you grabbed your own drink from the fridge and decided to join Josh on the couch. He had already made himself comfortable and turned on your favorite TV show.
“Is there room for one more on the couch?” you smiled.
“Always,” Josh smiled, adjusting his position slightly and holding an arm out for you.
You took a seat next to Josh and curled up under his arm, making sure to lay in such a way that you would still be able to drink without spilling it all over Josh or yourself. When you were settled, Josh wrapped his arm a little tighter around you. You felt calm curled up next to him; maybe it would be enough to keep you from breaking down for the rest of the night.
“How was your day here?” Josh asked. “I forgot to ask earlier in the midst of talking about the meetings.”
“It was good!” you lied, putting perhaps a little too much forced excitement into your voice. “My mom called so I got to talk to her for a little while, which was nice. Jenna also stopped by for a little while. I’m going to lunch with her on Tuesday.”
“That will be fun. Where are you going to go to lunch?”
You reached over and grabbed Josh’s free hand, idly playing with his fingers. “Not sure yet. We’re going to see how we feel on the actual day.”
“Makes sense.”
You nodded and leaned further back until your head was leaned on Josh’s shoulder. He brought his other hand up and brushed your hair back out of your face so that he could see you a little better.
“What did you and your mom talk about?”
“Oh, you know, normal stuff. How things are at home and all that.”
Josh nodded. You watched as his eyebrows furrowed for a moment, then relaxed again. He turned to you, making sure to meet your eyes.
“What’s going on with you, love?”
“What do you mean?”
“You’re not acting quite like yourself. I don’t how to explain it, but I can tell that something is bothering you that you’re not talking about.”
You shook your head, maybe a little too much, “No. No, I’m ok.”
You tried to force a smile to go along with it, but your lip began to quiver. Josh took notice of this and wrapped both of his arms around you, completely enveloping you. You reached past him and set your drink on the side table next to his so that you could totally wrap your arms around him and hold him close.
“I’m sorry,” you mumbled into his chest. “I’m sorry, I didn’t want to break down because I know you’ve had a hard day but- Josh, I don’t know what to do.”
“Hey, don’t apologize for being upset,” he said, though you could hear the worry in his voice. His hand started to move along your back, rubbing it gently. You kept your face buried in his shirt, trying your best to hold back sobs. “I don’t want you to ever hide anything from me, ok? Even if I’ve had a bad day, my main priority is taking care of you. I can forget about my own problems for awhile to help you with yours.”
“Are you sure?”
“I’m sure, so why don’t you tell me what’s going on?”
“When my mom called, she told me that my cousin Sam got in a bad car accident and,” you paused to take a shaky breath, “they took him in for surgery, but he didn’t make it. I don’t know what to do with myself, Josh. How do you move past something like that?”
“Oh, Y/N,” he said, tightening his grip around you even more. “Losing family is hard, I know, but it’s going to be ok. You don’t need to make sense of anything right now. Sometimes it’s ok to just be upset.”
“It’s just so unfair. He was so young and was going to go so far in life and that was all taken from him. And I didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye to him because I just assumed I would see him at the next reunion, but now my whole family just has this hole in our lives. I’m angry and sad and confused.”
Josh tucked your head under his chin, moving you slightly so that your ear was right over his heartbeat. His arms were still tight around you, reminding you that you weren’t alone in any of this. He was going to be by your side.
“Life just doesn’t make sense, sometimes. Terrible things happen and we lose people we love, but it doesn’t mean that they’re gone. Your family isn’t going to forget him anytime soon and I bet he’s still watching over you, ready to laugh along with all your jokes just like he did when he was alive. And you still have all your memories together; those won’t be going anywhere anytime soon.”
You nodded against Josh’s chest. It was rising and falling steadily, giving you something to match your own breathing to.
“Thank you, Josh. That means a lot. Really.”
“Your welcome. Just don’t beat yourself up for feeling a lot of different emotions, ok? It’s ok to feel them.”
“I’ll try not to.”
“Now I vote we spend the rest of the night right here on this couch cuddling and eating snacks and watching whatever terrible TV our hearts desire.”
“Am I allowed to cry?”
“Crying is encouraged,” Josh said before pressing a gentle kiss to the top of your head.
“Ok.”
Josh began to find a TV show for you two to watch while you readjusted into a more comfortable position to watch TV. Your heart still felt heavy, but Josh’s encouragement and the simple knowledge that he was going to be there to comfort you was enough to put a small smile on your face.
When the oven eventually went off, Josh immediately got up and went to the kitchen to finish making dinner so you could remain curled up on the couch. He came back a few minutes later, carrying two filled plates and fresh drinks for the both of you.
“Thank you,” you smiled as he carefully rested your plate on your lap.
“Of course.”
You waited until Josh sat down and got comfortable before starting the TV show again. It had only been on a few minutes before you paused it again and set your fork on your plate.
“Are you ok?” Josh asked. He had made a habit of asking every time you did something that seemed a little off.
“Yeah, I just… wanted to say thank you again.”
“For what?”
“For noticing that I was upset and asking about it, even though I tried to brush it off. It means a lot that you care about me that much because a lot of people wouldn’t do that for me.”
Josh’s mouth curled up into a smile. He reached out and grabbed one of your hands, squeezing it tightly. “It helps that your emotions are easy to read,” he laughed quietly. “But you know I care about you, Y/N, and I would do anything for you. And although I didn’t agree with the decision, it means a lot that you were willing to stop worrying about your own problems to take care of me after a stressful day.”
“I think we both need to be a little bit more selfish about our problems,” you laughed.
“Yeah, maybe.”
“I love you, Josh.
“I love you too, Y/N.”
You both leaned forward and gave each other a quick kiss before going back to watching TV like nothing had happened.

Injury Ward: Karlsson, Edler, Kadri, Letang, Hart, & Hall
Here’s the latest in the world of NHL injuries! Before you ask (and I know you were about to), the Jets haven’t provided us with a significant update on Dustin Byfuglien as this article is being written, so I recommend you follow me on Twitter @BrennanDeSouza to see his status as soon as it’s made publicly available.
Ryan Miller – The 38-year-old goaltender was originally slated to start on Monday against the Canucks, but a lower-body ailment kept him out of the game. This injury isn’t expected to keep him out for too long.
Ryan Getzlaf – The Ducks captain has been sidelined for the past three games with an upper-body injury. According to GM/coach Bob Murray, there’s no sign that Getzlaf is improving and his status for Wednesday’s game against the Blackhawks remains up in the air. Despite a disappointing 39 points in 54 games this season, Getzlaf still leads the team in scoring. That should give you an idea of how miserable this season has been for Anaheim.
John Gibson – Anaheim’s top goaltender could be available on Wednesday when the team faces off against Chicago. He had his wisdom teeth removed during the Ducks’ most recent three-game road trip (February 19th to February 23rd). If he doesn’t start on Wednesday, I’d expect him to be an option on Friday against the Golden Knights. Whatever the case, he should be able to contribute to your fantasy hockey playoff matchup.
Antti Raanta – Has been skating as he continues to recover from knee surgery. While Raanta isn’t expected to play for the rest of the regular season, if you’re participating in a playoff pool and the Coyotes make the playoffs – he might be an option.
David Pastrnak – Will be out for at least two more weeks as he needs to keep his thumb in a cast. After those two weeks, he’s probably going to need a short amount of time to get comfortable holding his stick and shooting the puck. Danton Heinen has been filling in for Pastrnak on the Bruins’ top line with Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron, he has nine points in his last 10 games.
James Neal – Is currently week-to-week with a lower-body injury. He’s expected to be evaluated at some point this week, after which we’ll probably have a more concrete timetable for his return.
Micheal Ferland – Left Tuesday’s game against LA with an upper-body injury. No further updates have been released as of right now.
Justin Faulk – Left Tuesday’s game against the Kings with an upper-body injury. No further updates have been released as of right now. Did I just copy and paste Ferland’s update for Faulk? No. I changed ‘LA’ to ‘the Kings’. Okay?
Ian Cole – Has been skating in a non-contact sweater. With that being said, he’s dealing with a broken orbital bone (a bone which surrounds your eye) so the fact that he’s skating doesn’t exactly mean he’s about to return.
Ryan Murray – Is out week-to-week with an upper-body injury. The Blue Jackets did acquire Adam McQuaid at the trade deadline, so maybe that slightly offsets the loss of Murray? Very slightly? Not at all?
Mats Zuccarello – Imagine what it’s like to put on a different jersey after nine seasons of being a Blueshirt. Imagine having an incredible debut with your new team, putting up a goal and an assist through 13 minutes of ice time. The next thing you know you’re doubled over after blocking a shot from Blackhawks’ defenseman Connor Murphy. Such is the life of Mats Zuccarello, who will be out for about four weeks with a broken arm. While he did have surgery on the arm, the purpose of the surgery was to hold the arm in place and speed up the healing process – this wasn’t some reconstructive surgery where he’ll need to learn how to hold a stick again.
Jamie Benn – He left Sunday’s game against the Blackhawks with an upper-body injury, which also kept him out of the lineup on Tuesday against the Golden Knights. Fortunately, he’s expected to return to the lineup on Thursday when the Stars take on the Kings. Benn has struggled to produce offensively this season with just 41 points in 61 games.
Thomas Vanek – Is expected to be out long term with a hip flexor injury. If you’re unfamiliar with the intricacies of the hip flexors (like I was until seconds ago), all you really need to know is that they allow the joint between your hip and your leg to bend. Since the injury is expected to keep Vanek out for a long time, it sounds like he’s dealing with a relatively large tear that’s going to significantly decrease his range of motion until it heals. Another important note – especially considering Vanek is 35 years old – is that you’re more likely to injure a hip flexor if you’ve injured it before. See how much fun this article can be when teams actually give us details on an injury? Three cheers for learning!
Jesse Puljujarvi – The belief is that he requires surgery for a lower-body injury. What exactly is he dealing with? How long will he be out? Find out in next week’s episode of ‘Spoiled Oil’ (copyright pending).
James Reimer – Looked like he tweaked something in his leg on Tuesday night against the Coyotes. No word yet on how long the injury will keep him sidelined.
Mike Matheson – Hopeful to return from a lower-body injury on Thursday against the Golden Knights.
Alec Martinez – Has been skating for the past few days as he gets closer and closer to a return. The team is hopeful to see him back in the lineup within the next week.
Craig Smith – You know what my favourite kind of update is? No update! At this point, all we really know is that Smith is dealing with a lower-body injury. Nashville’s acquisition of Mikael Granlund and Wayne Simmonds at the Trade Deadline should relieve any pressure of rushing Smith back into the lineup.
Will Butcher – Is day-to-day with a lower-body injury but he has been skating.
Jesper Bratt – Is day-to-day with a lower-body injury and won’t be in the lineup against the Flames on Wednesday. The Devils have been absolutely decimated by injuries recently. If you can name a player in the lineup who isn’t Nico Hischier, I’ll give you a high five.
Sami Vatanen – Will return from a concussion on Wednesday against the Flames.
  Kyle Palmieri – Out week-to-week with a lower-body injury.
Taylor Hall – The Devils expect to find out sometime this week whether Hall is going to play again this season. Considering the team isn’t playoff-bound, there’s really no reason to rush Hall back into the lineup and risk his long-term health. GM Ray Shero made it clear that if Hall does return this season, it’s because the team’s medical staff is absolutely confident that his return won’t have any long-term impact on his well-being. While it’s easy to say Hall should be shut down for the rest of the season considering there’s nothing left to play for, he’s a hockey player. Hockey players want to play hockey.
Carter Hart – The rookie goaltender is expected to be out for at least a week with an ankle injury. If everything goes well he’ll be back on the ice this weekend, with a return hopefully following soon after. Hart has been fantastic this season, sporting a .917 SV% and a 13-8-1 record.
Brian Dumoulin – Suffered a concussion after this hit from Wayne Simmonds in an outdoor game with the Flyers. No timetable for his return is available at this time.
  {youtube}Y5xxUAwDpF8{/youtube}
Kris Letang – If you watch the video above closely, you’ll notice that Kris Letang went after Wayne Simmonds following his hit on Brian Dumoulin. In an attempt to defend Simmonds, Shayne Gostisbehere came in and threw Letang to the ice. Letang suffered an upper-body injury following the takedown and is currently out on a day-to-day basis.
Bryan Rust – Left Tuesday’s game against Columbus on crutches after this hit from new Blue Jacket Adam McQuaid. He’ll be evaluated on Wednesday and we’ll probably get a better idea of how severe the injury is.
  {youtube}TOG5fIlExVU{/youtube}
Erik Karlsson – Left Tuesday’s game against the Bruins with an injury, but we don’t yet know if it’s related to the groin injury that caused him to miss significant time recently. What we do know is that he wasn’t able to put much pressure on his left leg. This clip from late in the second period shows Karlsson’s skating was not at 100 percent. He didn’t play in the third period.
Alexander Steen – Missed Tuesday’s game against the Predators because he was sick. Don’t expect him to miss too much more time as a result of the illness.
Brayden Schenn – Remains day-to-day with an upper-body injury. He’s expected to be back sooner rather than later. While we still don’t know exactly what the injury is and when he was injured, some believe it’s a concussion.
David Perron – Has been skating but is still officially day-to-day. GM Doug Armstrong stated that he should be back sooner rather than later. I feel like I’ve been saying his return is just around the corner for a long time now, but maybe this time it’s true?
Jake Gardiner – Has missed the team’s last couple of practices and won’t be in the lineup against the Oilers on Wednesday. Coach Mike Babcock has noticed Gardiner’s skating hasn’t been as good as it normally is. It’s possible he’s still dealing with back spasms that were bothering him earlier in the season.
Nazem Kadri – Skated on Tuesday for the first time since suffering a concussion. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: concussions are unpredictable because everyone experiences symptoms differently, so there’s a lot of variation in recovery times.
Alexander Edler – The Canucks begin a three-game road trip on Wednesday against the Avalanche and it’s still not clear whether or not Edler will be travelling with the team. While he has been skating, we still don’t know when exactly he’ll return from a concussion.
Erik Haula – May start skating soon! While that’s great news considering he had knee surgery a couple of months ago, I don’t think he’ll be back in time to have an impact on your fantasy hockey playoff matchup.
Josh Morrissey – Will be out of the lineup for the rest of February and the entirety of March with an upper-body injury. Once April rolls around we can start expecting a return.

The Daily Tulip
The Daily Tulip – International News From Around The World
Thursday 3rd August 2017
Good Morning Gentle Reader….  Quite a breeze blowing this morning as Bella and I leave the house, the normal silence of the morning gone, replaced by the sounds of blinds slapping where the owner failed to tighten them, shutter rattling as the wind buffets, palm trees are rustling as their leaves are scrapping against one and other, Gulls are calling as if protesting against be woken so early, after all it is only 3.30am, but we are unperturbed by the wind and the noises of nature, so up the hill towards the old hermitage we venture… at the top we stand, Bella with her nose in the air, scenting the smells from the town below until finally we turn and head for the house….
TENNESSEE TODDLER'S WET CONCRETE MISTAKE GOES VIRAL…. A Tennessee 2-year-old who went searching for her parents walked through wet concrete in her home's basement and into the hearts of the Internet. Porter Concrete Construction shared photos on Facebook showing little Izzadora Millaway and the trail of footprints she left through the basement of her family's Cleveland home when she went searching for her parents. "Best concrete comedy!!!" the viral post said. "Normally we see cats and dogs run or walk in concrete, but not this time. This little girl was trying to go see her mom and dad, so she came from upstairs to the basement to find them." Sara Millaway, the girl's mother, said she and her husband were with Porter workers looking at their work from outside when the toddler walked down the steps into the basement and trudged across the wet concrete. Millaway said she briefly considered leaving the footprints as a memento of Izzadora's amusing misadventure, but she decided instead to do a pair of "official keepsake" footprints on the still-wet floor.
CLEVER CROCODILE CATCHES SHARK BEHIND AUSTRALIAN FISHING BOAT…. A pair of filmmakers on a fishing charter boat off Western Australia captured rare footage of a crocodile sneak-attacking a shark. Christian Kennedy and Jadranko Silic said they were aboard the charter boat as it cruised the Kimberly coast as part of a week-long fishing expedition in early June when the crew members decided to toss some fish scraps off the boat. "The boat crew were filleting fish from a recent fishing expedition and were disposing of some of the fish scraps off the back of boat when the croc approached from nearby mangroves," Kennedy told PerthNow. "Surrounding the boat were several sharks which had begun to circle the boat to eat the fish scraps." The video shows a crocodile waiting among the sharks at the back of the boat. "The huge saltwater croc approached the feeding frenzy of sharks. But it wasn't interested in the fish scraps, it just lay in the water patiently waiting...then suddenly, as a shark swam up to grab a fish scrap, the croc grabbed the shark and dragged it away to nearby mangroves," Kennedy said. He said the witnesses were all "pretty amazed" by the brief battle. "I've seen sharks and crocs in the wild, but I've never seen a croc catch a shark before," Kennedy said. "Everyone was pretty amazed. It's not something you see every day." https://youtu.be/u65fCjCOmaM
HONOLULU MAYOR SIGNS BAN ON TEXTING WHILE CROSSING STREET…. A bill signed into law by the mayor of Honolulu will impose fines on pedestrians who are caught looking at the phones while crossing the street. Mayor Kirk Caldwell held a signing ceremony Thursday for the "distracted pedestrian" law, which takes effect October 25. The text of the law, which was passed by the City Council in a 7-2 vote earlier this month, makes it illegal for pedestrians to "cross a street or highway while viewing a mobile electronic device." The devices covered by the law include cellphones, tablets, laptop computers, pagers, and video game devices. Pedestrians will still be allowed to talk on their phones while crossing the street and look at their electronic device screens while safely on the sidewalk. "Sometimes I wish there were laws we did not have to pass, that perhaps common sense would prevail," Caldwell said during the ceremony. "But sometimes we lack common sense." Caldwell said the ordinance, which he said is believed to be the first of its type in the nation, was needed due to Honolulu having the "unfortunate distinction of Honolulu being a major city with more pedestrians being hit in crosswalks, particularly our seniors, than almost any other city in the country." The law requires police to witness an offense to make an arrest, which would lead to fines of $15 to $35 for a first offense, $35 to $75 for a second offense, and $75 to $99 for a third offense. Local officials said the legislation was first proposed by a group of local high school students. "These high school groups were concerned for their peers being distracted while crossing the streets and looking at their phones instead of looking both ways," Councilman Brandon Elefante told CNN. https://www.facebook.com/MayorKirk/videos/1373332852779825/
TEXAS MAN TAKES PET CHICKENS OUT FOR DAILY WALKS…. A Texas man has become a neighborhood celebrity for taking his pet chickens out for daily walks. Milt Strong can be seen every morning wheeling one of his chickens down Katy Trail in Dallas in a crimson stroller to stay in shape and put smiles on people's faces. "About three years ago I noticed people walking their dogs, small dogs in strollers. I started seeing a whole lot of goldendoodles, those expensive dogs. And I thought, 'I've got a cock-a-doodle,'" Strong, 69, told KXAS. "So I started pushing my little chicken." He placed his chicken in the basket of an old children's push bike and what started out as a gag soon became a daily routine. Strong eventually ditched the bike because it was too difficult to maneuver and became a neighborhood fixture, earning the nickname "Pollo Abuelo" or "Grandpa Chicken," the Dallas Morning News reported. "Some people kind of look and look away, like they didn't see it and they don't want me to know they saw something," Strong said. "I get all kinds of reactions, but generally everybody smiles and that's what I like." Strong's son, Josh Strong, said friends often send him photos of his father walking the trail and recalled his father has always had a love for chickens. "We'd go out and scramble around, chasing for the chickens. This is the third batch of chickens he's had since I was born," Josh Strong, 38, said. The elder Strong has a large chicken coop he dubbed the "Taj Ma-Chick" in his backyard that holds his nine hens. He just recently resumed his daily chicken-walking routine after a number of health issues, including a quadruple bypass surgery in May, forced him to leave the chickens in the coop for more than a month. "I will tell you, his chickens were madder than heck at him because he couldn't go out there. They quit laying eggs," Mary McLean, a friend of Strong's, said. Strong was cleared to exercise again in July and has since returned to walking the trail with his chickens at least five days a week. "I missed being out there. For a lot of reasons. The main one is, I feel better when I exercise," he said.
MAN WALKS DOWN STREET IN SCOTLAND WITH SEA GULL ON HIS HEAD…. A driving instructor in Scotland shared video of an unusual sight at the side of the road: A man walking down the sidewalk with a sea gull on his head. The dash cam footage, recorded during a Friday driving lesson in Musselburgh, shows a man walking at the side of the road with a sea gull perched on his head. The sea gull flaps its wings, but doesn't launch from the man's head. "While teaching an early morning driving lesson in Musselburgh we noticed a man walking with a seagull on his head! The car dashcam caught him as we passed. What do you call a man with a sea gull on his head? Cliff! Would be funny if that was his name?" the filmer wrote. https://www.liveleak.com/view?i=91e_1501253753
