I’ve been watching videos on cults on YouTube all day. And guess what ads I keep on getting.
Scientology.
I don’t know if this is a success or a failure of the algorithm.
#it’s a success#if there’s human intent that Scientology be labeled as a cult#it’s a failure#if it only happened because Scientology is always linked with cult in searches#and Google cannot actually deliver on targeted ads because these are the worst placements for a cult trying to recruit#either way it’s hilarious#yes show me videos of a cult using the exact techniques the anti-cult videos have been teaching me about
