okay but is it confirmed that ink5oul’s government name is their deadname? bc i see a lot of people complaining about “deadnaming ink5oul” and nowhere in the podcast does it say that ink5oul doesn’t go by the name grace. yes, they’re nonbinary but that doesn’t mean they can’t have a typically “feminine” name.

“ink5oul” seems to be the name of their online persona anyway, idk why people think that calling them grace is deadnaming them, when it hasn’t even been confirmed yet.

and before anyone comes at me, i’m genderqueer myself. i just wanted to add in my two cents bc i think people are blowing this way out of proportion.

ronnie radke of falling in reverse and his problematic past masterpost

this is a masterpost regarding most if not all of the issues regarding lead singer ronnie radke of emo band falling in reverse. if you’d prefer to read this on twitter, here’s a link. nothing will be posted without evidence or support. for legal reasons however everything in both this post and the twitter thread are allegations. now onto the issues:

tw fatphobia and body shaming / ronnie has a long past of insulting both fans and random people online, often choosing to bodyshame with insults such as ‘is it like a new law/crime to be rude to morbidly obese people?’ ‘look like you need a fucking diet’ etc as seen here and here

tw racism / he believes in reverse racism as seen here

people have different opinions on this as he was not the one to actually kill michael cook but i am choosing to provide the information regardless and you can decide how you feel about it: in 2006 he was present at a fight that resulted in the death of an 18 year old kid and he was put on parole. however, he broke said parole and wound up serving three years of prison time (source)

again, this situation is similar opinion wise to the one above, i will simply be providing context and information and you can decide your feelings on it: in 2012 the band ‘i see stars’ (i will refer to them as ISS from now on) was set to open for falling in reverse but a few months before tour they were caught with weed in their van resulting in their arrests. ronnie chose to kick ISS off the tour (this is background context, not the issue). ISS felt bad for disappointing fans and offered to tour for no pay. ronnie agreed to this and had them sign a contract stating they wouldn’t tell anyone they weren’t getting paid. after letting them back on tour ronnie threatened an ISS member with violence because he ‘didn’t like his stupid fucking face’ and kicked them off the tour a day or two later, and his tour manager then assaulted ISS’s manager. sumerian records has confirmed all of this. he also kicked fans out of venues for chanting ISS’s name. he’s been known to throw metal mic stands into large crowds on multiple occasions, having hit people many times, causing one man to need stapes on his head and another girl a broken hand. here’s some links to more info, news clip regarding man with stapes, and a video of ronnie throwing the stands

due to the throwing of mic stands, six flags made the decision to ban all metal shows. due to his recklessness causing multiple injuries, he was charged with simple assault and aggravated assault (link to more info, source)

tw suicide / here he is telling someone to ‘sit on a gun’ because they asked for him to credit the photographer, as well as making a statement that photographers should just be thankful that he even let them take pictures of him

tw suicide / when nick mathews of the band ‘get scared’ attempted suicide, tweeting a photo of pills on a table with the caption ‘yeah....goodbye’, ronnie tweeted nick’s girlfriend saying ‘get scared ;)’ as well as posted a picture of candies on a table with a caption mocking nick, you can see both tweets here

tw transphobia / he misgendered laura jane grace of against me! multiple times as well as deadnamed caitlyn jenner, these posts can be seen here

tw homophobia / he told elijah daniel, a gay man, that he would ‘scare the fucking aids out of him’ as seen here

tw ableism / he used the r slur with no care for its meaning or past as seen here
