A glimpse of hope: laptop turned on by being plugged in after my brother removed the battery. He suspects the battery might be the issue or any other component associated with it. He's being very careful and everything with what steps we should take next, but he's going to clone my disk just to be safe

#let's see what happens. at least it turned on that's promising #he checked up with an expert on repair costs and it was absurdly high. so he's trying to carefully do what he can #i'll leave on monday tho. my sister is coming on wednesday. i dont know how far we'll get until then #if i'll have to leave my laptop here for an uncertain amount of time #it would be an inconvenience yes but i dont really need it for uni purposes currently #cant imagine being an only child. my siblings are such blessings all on their own #nesi rants
