Don't worry about being negative. I share the sentiment that there was some depth missing with the lore/story. Going from playing all the games in preparation to playing Veilguard was an almost jarring experience.

I think there's a large sentiment of people wanting to re-write Veilguard/lore in a way as well, and I can't wait to see where all these creative minds take this beloved world and treat it with the care that seemed to be absent in the hands guiding the project. Always will love the writers and animators' opinions over the game leads anyday.

That's true! Most posts I run across these days are full of criticism. I suppose I am trying to find ways to cope and probably avoiding expressing negativity because maybe then canon will magically change 😃 😃 (but I've never been good at articulating my thoughts so there's that too). To me, Veilguard didn't promote deeper thought like the other installments. And it didn't want to let go of your hand...also don't worry, everything is Solas' fault and don't you dare feel regret or guilty over your choices...also the group therapy sessions.... skfhjkf

Aaaaah same though, I hope that what happened sparks a new wave of better takes on the story. Much love to the devs, but I'll be going my own way with it <3
