Basically a bunch of fuckheads made some 'fantribes'(tribe=different type of dragon) that are pay to win, minimum $50 each(there was one peakwing custom bid that sold for $1,020. Not even a PREMADE. THEY DIDNT KNOW WHAT IT WOULD LOOK LIKE), and if you are lucky enough to get the ability to make ur own you have to follow rules or they can tell you to change it(and you HAVE to listen to them if you want to keep it). They also have terms of service and if you violate them(or if the current mods don't like you) they can take ur oc and not refund you for any of the money you spent :)

There's a similar thing in furry/artist communities sometimes(if u ever see the term 'closed species' that's what they're talking about) but I have less of a problem with those because it's not literally preying on impressionable children for hundreds of dollars, because wof is, at the end of the day, a children's book with many children fans on the internet :) I've seen kids on there as young as 9 years old that wanted one of these dipshit fancy flavored dragons because it was the new hot thing.

Amino(and therefore art fight) are rampant with people who buy into those types of things. The big ones were soleiwings, serptails, peak wings, and runicwings. Yes they were all operated by friends that already charged a shitton of money for their designs.(As much as $300 base price, more if the design has extra art or some of the fancy aforementioned titles attached)

That shit is RAMPANT over there. Usually I can ignore it in bigger communities like that but… ugh. Hate closed species with a passion. Stupid ass concept, stupid ass execution, and people shit on others because of it as cherries on the cake of lies.
