Turns out this was all a ruse to get good at 2D drawing.
It's not tracing if I made the model - it's edge detection. 💁♂️
#my art#i learned from a tumblr post that this is how they made the spiderverse movies#though they used ai to edge detect and trace “hand-drawn” lines for the frames#if i knew more 2d animation i could conceivably pose in 3d then trace 2d key pose frames and interpolate between them 🤔🤔
